You’re super welcome!
Learned something from this
Im thinking of using 2 different sized wicks in one of my two wicked candles, to achieve the ideal temperature. What do you think?
I would like to know what factors causes bubbles?
Thank you in advance
Would Vybar or steric acid help decrease frosting in coloured wax? Or it will show up eventually anyway? Also does anyone notice that hot throw with colouring your wax is stronger than leaving it it’s natural white/beige colour? Is it a chemical reaction or just in my head lol 🤷♀️
Hello! How do I fix a bouncing candle flame and what causes it? Please help! I tried shortening the wick but it still happens intermittently
HI! I hope someone notice this question. I'm trying to start my candle business and there's been a couple problem I've encountered and I'm getting upset cause I don't know what I should do, My fragrance oil is staying at the bottom of my wax when I try to blend it together, and 2 my wax is having jump lines after I pour my wax on my jar. I don't know if it's the temperature or the environment I'm in, cause it's really cold here where I live.
Would you happen to know why a great smelling candle on the first and second burn smells amazing, but by the next burn it has lost its scent and just smells like wax? It’s 💯 soy wax, cured 2 weeks with 9% FO added at 185 degrees and properly stirred for 2 minutes before pouring. My theory is the wick being a size too big? But I’m not entirely sure, what would you think?
Same issue here, I think because I stored the fragrances in the kitchen, not in a cool and dry place, I don't know
Perhaps your fragrance/scent floated to the top of your candle while sitting? It sounds like the scent you used isnt exactly intended for candle making so it reacted strangely?? Hope that makes sense
Can you talk about the science of candle jars? Like the benefits of thick luxe glass, jam jars, concrete, tin etc. I make beeswax candles and having a roller coaster ride, and feeling a bit like Christopher Columbus loool
Great candle science aside, you're very handsome!
Love from Vietnam ;)!
What the coolest temp that you can pour ?
Right before cottage cheese mode activates. Can be in the 115°F range.
My soy wax says to heat to 160 pour at 115 should I still heat it to 185?
I would still heat to 185°F, but you can always experiment and see if you get consistent results. Don’t take my word for it!
@@ArmatageCandleCompany thanks so much I will :)
Can frosting occur in paraffin wax? Because it sure as hell is making my candles look pretty frosty.
Not to the extreme that it happens in soy wax. Honestly not something I've ever struggled with.
@@ArmatageCandleCompany Okayy! Thanks for the reply. :) Amazing videos by the way 😊
