Even on that MacBook, that I've never upgraded, OSes like Windows X Lite Micro10 (A modded version of Windows 10), and I bet even Revi OS, run almost perfectly, except for some sudden lag spikes. Your PC isn't that old, trust me.

Frankly, I don't see any noticeable difference for all the lite versions. They work fine. I have tried 3 versions over the year, see no difference in performance. Choose what looks best for you. After testing for all 3 lite verions for awhile, I choose NTDev Tiny 10 and later Tiny 11 as it looks like the original while is fast and stable.

You can try dual booting it first or run it in a VM then delete the full Windows if you like it.

Tiny 11 is useless because you can't update it or it will get all the Bloatware
