    great video! your disclaimer at the end of the video about these modified OS's being from unknown sources makes me leery of Ghost Spectre since it reminds me of the infamous Spectre security vulnerability on CPU's. a different name might've been a better choice, haha.

  • @favabean13
    @favabean13 Год назад +171

    You should try comparing the two on bare metal. This way, we can see exactly how much quicker the two are, independent of the additional overhead of running Windows plus the additional VM. Also, It would have been nice to see the difference in memory usage between the two as well.

    • @TheArtmann
      @TheArtmann  Год назад +22

      I would do this if the operating systems would be the same.. like tiny11 vs idk.. another windows lite in that way. Ghost Spectre is another class than Tiny11 and if I have more time I will also do a "bare metal" comparison, but I don't think the results will be different

    • @jonere5
      @jonere5 Год назад +4

      Yeah I agree testing in a VM definitely is a lot more variables this kind of makes me want to do my own testing because I'm not sure I can reach a conclusion to which is actually faster from this video

      I am working at a series of videos comparing a bunch of operating systems (tiny, ghost, revios, x-lite and so on) between them... on bare metal, so stay tuned. I also take suggestions of operating systems for this tests... if you have a particular one in mind

    Shall i install win10 ghost or win11 ghost? What is the better option for my laptop? It's a low-end laptop but I can't decide which OS i do wanna keep because i heard win11 gives more FPS in games but some other people says the opposite.

      if the device is old.. low end.. i don't think that 11 will give more fps than 10. stick with 10. and the "android emulator" is NOT included. is the windows subsystems for android wich you can install on ANY windows 11 as long as the device is compatible.. minimum 8gb ram and all that.

TinyOS 10/11 was the only one that suits me well as it worded well at very long term without lagging which is very important to me. Even the official Win 11 works well at first install. Well from the looks of it then yes spectre is way better. But the magic of tiny11 is that with a normal install, you only need an office suite, vlc/mpv and edge (simplest solution for a lightweight browser there are obviously better alternatives for tech-savvy folks); to have all apps that someone needs in a simple pc. For spectre you will need a calculator a photo viewer etc. With tiny11 you are finished in an hour. Both have its uses. Especially, I would not install tiny11 on something with less than 3gb ram. Also the fact that tiny11 comes with microsft store is a must for normal users.
