Would you happen to have a build forum for this truck? I think I have watched all of your video's in the last 24 hours! Haha I cant get enough of this truck and the information you give to us all watching. I'm grateful for people like you that take the time out of your busy lives and do things like this. We even get you watch the truck actually work! I have a 2000 f350 with an all but dead 7.3 with a manual transmission. A 2006 f250 auto with the typical dead 6.0 and a 2008 f250 Kingranch auto with (You guessed it!) A dead 6.4. I have many hours of swap time ahead of me. You are terribly underrated for the effort and quality information you put into this. You keep doing you and I'll keep spreading the word about your channel!
Steven Odell man thanks so much for the kind words and for watching! I unfortunately don’t have a forum as I didn’t think to document anything until a few after I had the swap done lol but I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have on your builds!!
Seems I can only get 3rd 5th and 6th to lock up 3rd to 5th and 5th to 6th shift to soon before it locks up as well. Trying to figure out what I’m doing with my SCT x4 I did everything you’ve said you did with your x3. I gotta really slowly get into it Barely moving to get it to lock up or else at all just ride the torque converter to the next gear
Why the 165 thermostat? Reason I ask, is because Cummins increased temperature over the years. Now, if heat=power, and heat=mileage, wouldn't about a 200 be a better choice? Thoughts?
I went with the oem 180 stat. I like the engine temp cooler because it keeps oil temp down which is good on the bearings it make the intake temps cooler which means more useable horse power egts stay cooler and it’s better on head gaskets as well.
Would you recommend I swap that transmission you have over my 48re lol, I really dislike it my 48re and it’s “built” 🤦🏽♂️😒.. but I’ve really been thinking on g56 swap if happens to blow up again

Ronnie J from what I’ve seen the x4 wont allow 1&2 to lock up I’ve seen several that won’t do it.
Very nice, sounds great.
Thank you!
