      Thanks! It certainly was a surprise. So far I don’t believe anyone else has found my site, but it’s a bit of a concern.

    Awesome finds! That thing you said was a screwdriver piece kind of also looks like a model T dust nut cover. Couldn't really tell though.

      The long part could be the valve stem cover and the nut will have words on it if that’s what it is.

    The chain goes to the pocket watch almost all pocket watches back in those days had some sort of fancy chain so you could hook it to yourself the fact that you found the chain in the watch whether or not it has the lid in that same pit still cool fun

      @@BIGALL7777 Merry Christmas Allan! I’m actually not too sure about what that was. It may have had a dog or figurine on it, could be worth taking home for a clean. I’m glad you liked the finds, I think that chauffeur license is amazing! What are your thoughts on the military items?

      @@mazda7873 I checked back in the foot gage and I’m pretty sure I see what you’re referring to. I’m not too sure that it’s a ring, although it’d be a shame if it was, because I won’t be able to find it again.

      @WestCoastArchaeologist no worries. I know you will find one 😅 found my first ring recently.
      It's not a precious metal but it's still a thick old ring. Found at my paps property that dates back to the late 1700s. Used the 19th century. Lots of cool stuff found 👍🏻

    The thing that you found it didn’t comment on was a pipe mouthpiece you definitely stumbled on somebody’s trash pit from a long time ago

      You’re right indeed! I find a decent amount of those, the owners of this house certainly enjoyed their pipes. They date to around the 1930s
