Clinton from Ohio. Your finds are the best. So interesting. Was wondering, would you ever do a video on your collection? Would love to see it. Thanks man.
Hi Clinton, I will definitely do one this winter. I have sold quite a few items over the years but have kept the rare and unique items for my personal collection.
Hi. When I find anything in frozen ground I put it in the car on plastic. Thaw it out later because I shattered a military button trying to get it out. Great finds and good luck in the future.😊
Are you freaking kidding me! What a awesome day of detecting!, Great variety of finds!, that big silver brooch got me real excited to see!, Curious to know if they made them bigger?Again, thanks again Eric for sharing your great videos and finds with us, I have learned so much watching them, and I can't wait to see more as always, Happy New Year, blessings to you and your loved ones
Thank you very much. That is the largest Broach I have found. I have found some earwheels and skirt broaches slightly bigger but that’s close to as large as they get.
Wonderful dig glad the deeper ground isn't frozen! Wonderful brooches the large brooch your biggest? Hope you find the class ring owner..and how about the trime and unique double button earring! 🎉
Dan from Minnesota here. First time viewing your channel and had to subscribe. Your finds and how you presented them were excellent. All the old finds and the trade silver..WOW! Based on the era you dated things you have to be east of MN, without giving away your exact location, may I ask what state you are in? Really enjoyed this episode, you presented it we'll!!
Thanks for subscribing! I am happy you enjoyed the video, I am in northern Michigan. The area I hunt has a wide range of finds, the earliest items date to the late 1600s.
I run my equinox wide open. Field 1, Zero iron bias, 3-5 on target separation depending on how much iron is in a site. I use 5 tone, breaks are 0-8, 9-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-40.
Every video is always packed with some of the sweetest finds! And I’ve only been watching a couple months. The education as to what can be around fur trader post and some Indian camps is just amazing! Guess from here on I’ll watch your previous videos till spring thaw! Keep warm!!!
Always unique and awesome finds … especially loved the double button earring and jumbo brooch!
