      Just travel abroad. Malaysia is a great country to buy electronics as they're cheaper than the US. That's actually what I intend on doing to scoop up the new Pura 70 Pro.

    I own the pura 70 ultra (harmony os) and it's really an awesome phone. He's camera is just the best, exept for filming (a bit laggy sometimes).
    But everything else is uncredible. I have installed (by myself ) all the Google services ,and everything work as good as my previous vivo x80 pro.
    Just a dream who became reality!

    If Huawei amd China manages to make those components to the highest quality with a fair competive price it will be game over. Additionally if the government convinced other chinese brands to use these components and Harmony Os next, its game over.

    Something I have discovered which disappointed me regarding Huawei pura 70 ultra in Saudi Arabia. The phone is not supporting 5g. I think 5g coverage is only in China. Still the phone is very good, but Huawei have to be very precise when releasing different specs series.

    this is the biggest mistake that US makes. They want huawei to bow down to them and submit to what the bully wants, however things go accordingly to huawei. Now they're more self reliant. Even though the chipset they're making is behind however it's still a good, it doesn't mean to say that they can't innovate the things that they have now it will make time. slowly but surely they will make things good for them qnd for the company that they build.

    If America and it's allies are not buying Huawei devices, isn't that the the goal of the sanctions? If their devices are the best in the world and it's only for the local market, their goals have been met I think. And if their devices are incompatible with others, they'll be more alone. Let's see shaa

    • @sidneyani2584
      @sidneyani2584 29 дней назад +5

      "Let's see sha." I assume you're Nigerian? I be naija boy too, so make I clear u on d matter. 😂
      The intention behind the sanctions was to completely eliminate Huawei, much like what occurred with Alstom and Toshiba; however, this attempt ultimately failed. Although these measures temporarily impeded Huawei's progress, they inadvertently steered them toward self-reliance - a development that will pose challenges for US tech firms in the future as their business models heavily depend on monopolies for survival. Historically since World War II, the US government has actively thwarted foreign competitors threatening American monopoly interests through various means.
      Semiconductor industry leaders from the United States have cautioned against imposing sanctions on Huawei out of concern that such actions will drive them further towards autonomy - a scenario detrimental to American businesses given China's significant role as a consumer of US semiconductor products.
      Inevitably, it seems that Huawei will emerge victorious; evident from its successful displacement of Apple within China’s market share landscape.
      As Huawei progresses towards achieving independence - an imminent reality - other Chinese enterprises such as Xiaomi and Oppo may follow suit by favoring domestic technological solutions owing largely to deep-seated patriotic sentiments prevalent among Chinese consumers.

      Well said @sidneyani2584, and greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa. I think the other commenter forgets that the west does not constitute the sum totality of humanity. Maybe he’s never heard of the ‘global south’ and how that constitutes the majority of humanity on this planet, much of whom do big trade with China. Even if China is absolutely cut off from every other country on this planet, don’t forget that it has 1.4 billion citizens, which the west will no longer have any access to, as customers. It is no exaggeration to state that the west will deal a fatal blow to itself if it totally sanctions and isolates China. There is no other nation on this planet that can boast that it pulled 800 million of its citizens out of extreme poverty and given them a chance to progress further up the economic value chain to become one of the largest consumer markets this planet is likely to see.
