Hey CC, I wanted to both let you know and thank you for your wonderful videos. I’ve been enjoying them for several months now but this past week they actually became therapeutic. I just took care of my 88-year-old FIL with Alzheimer’s for a week and he loves the videos with the horses. He kept saying how relaxing they were. L O L we would sit and watch them back to back and he loved them every time. I passed the information along to my BIL and SIL who are primary caregivers. Your videos made an otherwise challenging week a bonding experience❣️
When you said Nigel has the cutest turds I laughed because my friends granddaughter Hallee makes Play Dough turds for her rocking horse and then happily cleans them up! Only we horsey folks would truly get that. Love your videos!
❤ I HAD to leave this late comment: CC, the last 60 sec or so of this video, talking abt Pete is EXACTLY why I keep watching you, LOVE ur horses & ur babies Tiny & Huckleberry, etc. THAT world view, that love & TRUE dedication will guarantee ur success here on You Tube and in ur life goals. For us, it's an uplifting respite-for you, it's ur entire life-utter RESPECT💯!❤🐾🐈🐴🐕🙏🏽
Pete is so handsome in the new saddle! I am so sad for him with his fear issues. I am so angry with the ignoramus that mistreated him for two weeks and left him with a lifetime of scars on his soul.
Pete is a gorgeous creature and I hope he can either stay with CC or go to someone who understands him and know how to treat him. I wish this for all of them ❤
I woke today quite sick from my disabilities but you lifted me with the squeek that, "Might Help Keep Away The Bears". I Love Your Dry Humor CC, TY❣️🐻🤣
I love that you don’t have a one size fits all approach but take into consideration temperament and history. Pete is a good boy, he just has past trauma and you give him kindness and understanding instead of trying to push him into a mold of your making. Horses need kindness and understanding just like people. Thank you for being bold in doing things how you think best instead of mainstream training methods.💕

Saddles and rocking chairs. All should have the "special" creak to them. I love the way Tiny takes her supervisor position so seriously . And always Nigel! What a guy!
After losing my horse in 2020 I realized I couldn't be without a horse in the back yard even though I'm over 70 and haven't ridden in quite some time. I purchased a lovely 15 yr. Haflinger gelding who had spent most of his life at a farm with other horses. At my place there are horses in the area, but not really where he can see them. Not quite sure what he went through with his previous inexperienced owner, but she labeled him as defiant. He can be quite reactive at times. I have worked with him using the TRT method and also what I picked up from watching Warwick Schiller. Your videos have helped a good deal as well. Thank you.
@@kristinjacobsen3417 Thank you for your suggestion. I have given it a lot of thought but realize I just don't want to take on another animal; not even a dog. There are wild deer that come into his pasture in the evening. I don't know if he considers them company. I spend as much time as I can with him.
I love how you see and tell us of each horse's personality, their needs and respect that in each one. Nigel is a hoot! Tiny reminds me of a cat I used to have. She crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 16.5. I love the antics of Huckleberry ! I learn so much listening and watching you. Thank you so much for sharing! Now to remember all!!!

Same. That sh*t drove me insane when I still rode. Either your hip is uneven, and you slip permanently to one side, or one leg is at a different position than the other.
I have one leg longer than the other too. When someone was adjusting the stirrups she wanted them even! I had to talk her into making them fit my legs. The horse will get use to it. Almost 3 yrs ago l broke my lower leg bones and the Dr said after surgery that it would be an inch shorter. I haven't been riding since then. Can't remember which one will be shorter or longer but will find out when l do go riding.
I love how you willingly share your knowledge with one and all. People who have a horse or someone thinking about getting a horse must be learning so much from your videos. Thank you for the care and kindness you show to all your animals. 💜 : )
Wonderful video! Poor Pete! I sure hope that abusive trainer who ruined Pete's trust in humans is no longer "training" horses. I'm glad to see Tiny is feeling much better! ❤

Those “cute little turds” make phenomenal fertilizer. I grew gorgeous climbing rose bushes with horse manure as fertilizer. My oldest son used to sell it to the neighbors and he made a good bit of money.
The guy who invented the first Ortho-Flex saddle was a guy named Len Brown. He and another long rider started the company back in the early 1980s. He still make saddles and I have one custom saddle made by him. Saddle construction and quality is outstanding but the saddle itself is too big for me or any horse I own length wise, so it sits unused on my saddle rack which is a shame as it cost me over five grand to have it made. Not sure where the disconnect was but he made it waaaaaay too big. It is a 17.5 and I normally take anywhere from a 15.5 to a 16 depending on the maker and tree type. I'd have to gain 100lbs for a 17.5 to remotely fit me. It has a normal tree on it, but I have heard those old floaty ortho-flexes can be a really smooth ride so long as the flex pads aren't cracked and the bearings where they attach to the saddle aren't so loose/worn as to rub the horse because the pad moves too much.
Thank you for being patient and accepting of Pete's fears. So many people would be angry with him and even punish him. There are a lot of ignorant and insensitive people in the world. I totally adore Mr. Nigel even if he gets stinky and rolls in the dirt. Hugs to Tiny the star.

Love your videos. To me you make the impression of a young person. All your experience with horses and the short insight in your life, make me wonder, if you are not much older then I think. Stay healthy and happy, keep up the good work. Greetings from 🇨🇭
Camels really do need to be ridden often once they are saddle-trained so they have the routine of it. Otherwise, they forget and get really angry when the saddle and stuff is put back on after a long absence. They refuse to move, growl as only a camel can, and try to bite until they get back into the swing of things.

Nigel says, I won't be needing a new water tank because Ima move in with Primm.
so glad to see Tiny's feeling better!
that cut on your finger looked nasty! at least it didn't hurt I guess 😅
I love how much compassion you show for Pete and his skittishness; he seems like such a sweet boy ❤
That tiny is a character. You are so patient and kind to your horses, the so called experts could learn alot from you❤
Oh boy helping Your pup get off the gophers is gonna be interesting!
Love your videos thanks again for teaching us about saddles I love horses but so many things I never knew.
I keep waiting for the subscription number on this channel to skyrocket because it’s such a great one! I’ve never owned a horse and only ridden three times, but your narration, passion, knowledge and love for animals is addicting. Thank you for what you do 🐴❤️🐈🐕
Another skill you have so impressed saddle maker.❤
Or maybe we should call him “Lucky Pete”, since he will spend the rest of his life with you!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Keep preaching saddle fit!!!! Many people who "love" their horses don't bother to make sure a saddle fits properly.
Aww all of your horses look so beautiful and listen and obey you very well! Wonderful training! 😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
I had no idea but gophers can spread lepto apparently, so poor Huckleberry but definitely in his best interest to not eat them! Thanks for another great vid :)
the plague as well!
@@TheCleverCowgirl phew! We don’t have that, or rabies, in New Zealand so it’s just not on my radar. Dangerous stuff!
Learning so much, as always. Thank you 😊
Look up plastic welding guns for that water tank. They are amazing. The first day I had mine it paid for itself.
Naughty Nigel doing his re-grooming routine with CC. Enjoyed the saddle reviews and you are a jack of all trades.
OMG, poor Pete, left saddled for days at a time: the cruelty of some people is so horrible. I’m glad some horses escape being so misunderstood and cruelly treated and spend the rest of their lives with a knowledgeable and kind person like you, CC
So happy Tiny girl is ok ❤❤❤❤
AWESOME. LOVE THE EDUCATION ON SADDLES. THANK YOU!!!❤🎉
Some wonderful people leaving wonderful memories about Nigel & Pete who is a beautiful horse. He has you to be by his side forever. Nigel & Prim LOL. Dreams can come true but the girl has to be shorter for Nigel. Looking forward towards the next video that you put out.
I’m glad Tiny is feeling better!
Pete's video was one of the first videos I watched on your site, so it has made him extra special to me. I am so grateful you bought him and are being so patient and loving towards him. I'd love to be able to do that for a horse like him. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us ❤
So glad for Pete, that you have radical views, very important! Thank you.
My SIL was a dispatcher for the county. She fielded calls fom homicides to "There's a dead squirrel out on my deck! Please send someone out!" I believe Peg suggested she get a shovel.
😂😂 she was rather mild in her response!
Only you could make manure sound cute! (Nigel's) I know you work hard caring for the horses and making videos for us but, as you can tell from the comments, we viewers appreciate it. Thank you for sharing it all with us. 🐴❤
When I watch your videos, that I enjoy, I miss my ponies and horses terribly.
I am short so I love the 14 hand size.
Stewie is one of my favorites! I don’t have horses, but can relate to the short issue😊…
You certainly know how to feed horses to get them looking their best. They all look great.
