Been watching Derek. Favourite programme. Gervais becomes Derek, what a fantastic actor. Karl's the voice of reason. The pissed up bloke stops you from crying.

I always find that Steve is aside in these. His stories are hilarious. Its almost far more centered on Ricky and Karl but my favorite out of them is Steve.
I completely agree with Karl on the noise issue, though. And I've heard this thing about not having one coherent 'you' as well. Nothing wrong with separating ears and brain to make an example, it does illustrate what is happening.
Typical of their weird dynamic that Ricky lays into Karl and in response Karl lays into...Steve. Ricky always seems to step back and melt into the crowd once a dust-up starts.
