From 9 mins 52 when Ricky and Steve start riffing and role playing.......THAT is what I miss from the old XFM shows. The way they bounce off each other is fucking genius.
+Daniel P I think they still role play on the newer shows, but only when Karl comes out with a silly story and Ricky and Steve don't believe a word of it, so they just like teasing Karl and challenging his brain, just by role-playing and taking the piss out of him XD But they did work off each other really well on the old shows XD I actually love Steve's reaction when Ricky was asking about profiteroles and Steve chokes on his drink and goes "Thanks for asking, mate." x'D
+Daisy Chambers haha you're everywhere, any XFM show, podcast or random thing to do with the boys I see you all over the comments. Good work, keep it up! I miss the insight into their lives week by week, like the whole pub quiz stuff, and when Ricky opened the door to Karl with his tackle out dressed like something out of the Sopranos (best tv show ever btw). Shame they all went their separate ways.
If I had a pound for every time I heard that .. I'd keep it xD I know.. a lot of people have said this to me.. I get it a lot, and usually my answer to that is that I'm a big fan of them. I listen to them when I paint and draw, they're like comfort, listening to their voices. They cheer me up too XD Oh I know... I miss them.. even though they talked bollocks... it was good radio! Radio isn't very good nowadays, but XFM was just quality radio.. despite being called a "Tin Pot radio station" XD
Yeah probably the worst interviewer ever, why would you bring up insults between people and say "what are some phrases you would use to insult Ricky" what the fuck lmao
+XxKINGatLIFExX That would be massively entertaining with those three as hosts. It'd be the first TV show I would actually give a shit about in the last 5 years.
I agree, even the part with Karl saying weddings are shit and there’s no reason to get married anymore. This would be absolute gold to play at a wedding.
I've watched this interview a few times, but it's only this time I noticed Karl's staring at Steve @4:57 - 5:04. THAT FACE! No one will ever be as funny as Karl, he's so unique it's ridiculous!
10:15 funniest side discussion to end the clip with. and Karl's face all the way through it xD "ya thinking perfetta rolls, or ya thinking like a trifle or what?" sips drink... "thanks for asking mate" xD
9:54 I just realised that Ricky is just trying to annoy the producers at this point by keep asking Stephen questions about the food and he joins in trying to make it longer because they were supposed to finish.
The funniest part of interviewing this trio is how rapidly the interviewer ceases to exist. You only need one question to open things up, they'll do the rest.
i love interviews with the three lads, you'll notice in almsot all their interviews they always end up just talking between each other, the interviewer's always find it hard to get a word in lol,
Right at the end were Ricky and Steve are talking about food for a wedding and Karl's sat there inbetween just waiting for the conversation to change made me laugh. I hope they make a 3rd series anyone else agree? :)
The guy made an entertaining bit of tv he knows they’ll use that wedding thing as ammo for a joke. What you think this guy asked RICKY GERVAIS to say something nice because he thought it’d be a good wedding gift? Certainly would be better than if he didn’t ask that.
Can we please just have a show with the 3 of them talking. Not the audiobooks or the Ricky Gervais Show because you can't see Karl's face like it was at the end of this video. That's just priceless.
Massive LOL!!!! The best interview I've ever seen with these 3 in it. And my opinion why the guys asked them a reason not to go to his wedding is a character-profiling question that reveals a lot of deep-embedded traces of education and culture in the ones answering personalities.
They spent hundreds of hours together and he asked "Do you want to get them back with your own phrases" Karl gives as good as he gets 😂 I agree strange line and vibe of questions, trying to pull Ricky up for goggle-eyed-freak. No insults please, this is a joke free zone.
I got the impression that Karl is an unusually mild-mannered bloke who isn't easily offended. He might not like every bit of it, but he's friends with Ricky, so he puts up with his ideas and jokes. I loved his expression at the end of this video, it's like "what the f* are these two talking about?" Makes it even funnier.
Some of these interviews are better than the actual show itself!! The poor bloke had to completely amend the menu at his wedding by the time the three stooges were finished.
"If he's watching this and hasn't paid a thing towards it, what a stingy bastard". Stephen Merchant has always been the funniest of the group. And he does look like Clint Eastwood in this. He makes my day.
I love it how Ricky is about to laugh before Karl even says anything lol
It's like that Pavlov bloke whacking them dogs on the head.
he already knows what he will say xD
Shit interviewer...
From 9 mins 52 when Ricky and Steve start riffing and role playing.......THAT is what I miss from the old XFM shows. The way they bounce off each other is fucking genius.
I miss the role playing stuff too, absolutely hilarious.

I've been listening to the radio shows and podcasts for around 5 or so years, and they never fail to make me laugh! Absolutely love the dudes.
"Are there gonna be any single women at this wedding?"
"You can come."
"Ok well, answer the question."
love that
That's Ed Shearan who's interviewing them.
I wish interviewers and other people didn’t try and get in on the joke and just left it to Karl & Steve...
Yeah probably the worst interviewer ever, why would you bring up insults between people and say "what are some phrases you would use to insult Ricky" what the fuck lmao
And Ricky, no?
5:18 Karl’s little half smile at coming number 1 in Heat’s weird crushes. He looks so pleased with himself 😂
Same thing happened when Harris fancied him
@@markdelej til she got her hole ruined
"I don't know you"
"answer the question" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Steve is so underrated. He’s so funny.
He’s funny man just gets outshone by Karl unfortunately
Look at how Karl is looking at Stephen starting at 4:59.
LOL
Hahaha awesome. He does it again 20 seconds later hahah
Killed XD
It's a look of frightenedness
Classic
3:28 it’s actually SO brazen how merciless this interviewer is in listing the insults and even garnishing one with “that’s _well_ known” 😂?!
Everyone... Listen up. I've just had an epiphany!!!! These three... These three have to be the new three presenters for Top Gear! THIS IS IT!
+XxKINGatLIFExX That would be massively entertaining with those three as hosts. It'd be the first TV show I would actually give a shit about in the last 5 years.
Well.. it's too late now. We've got those other phagocytes on now. Chris Evans and what not,
+XxKINGatLIFExX Plus some actor from the most overrated, garish, camp, catchphrase-based shitcom that is Friends. Awesome. x
+XxKINGatLIFExX I might actually watch the show if this was the case. Great idea!
That is amazing!
Its great how often Karl smiles as Ricky retells these stories. Love it. An the awkward eye contact is Karl re-noticing how weird Steve looks haha
Karl at the end is hilarious. Hes like id rather be at a wedding than here right now.
I really hope the interviewer played that last bit at his wedding. I imagine the attendees were falling out of their chairs laughing!
I agree, even the part with Karl saying weddings are shit and there’s no reason to get married anymore. This would be absolute gold to play at a wedding.
Karl's face from 10:03 just listening to Ricky and Stephen is hilarious
Its like double entertainment. You can re watch it and just stare at Karl.
Doin’ me head in
Karl is the king of keeping a straight face.
I see you on every video related to these guys
Whoa!! A pretty female stalker? I should shave my head and become an idiot.
Rikard Lindblom I'm not a stalker and I'm not pretty.
And I was not being serious, of course. But it really is'nt up to you to decide if you're pretty or not.
Rikard Lindblom I think its more up to whoever is looking
Funny how they said that Karl's role in the Office would have been someone who fixes stuff, and that was his role in Derek, haha.
Well there was a little bald computer mechanic in season 1.
the last part was great because it gives insight into how they wrote the office together.
I love how Ricky and Steve have managed to hijack every single interview anyone's ever done with them.
I WANT TO SEE THIS IMAGE OF STEVE MERCHANT IN THE GUARDIAN LOOKING LIKE STEPHEN HAWKING HIT AGAINST A WALL!
+Victoria Duffy I think it might be this one: fotos.sapo.pt/kfumwWuKibUMaAjSeF4L/
+Roberto Mobilin yeah no
+Roberto Mobilin hmm i dont think it is as they talk about a wide angled lens- this isnt ? :)

Guy doing the interview was a bit awkward aint he
Karl is probably the best looking one
Agreed. Karl is sexy, the only thing remotely unattractive is that he is bald but so what????
My Art Page bald is the new mullet. He a stud
Jesus you people are easily pleased 🤣
Anna M. I don't know what you're on about Ricky is 🔥🔥🔥
Anna M. 😂😂😂
9:54 I just realised that Ricky is just trying to annoy the producers at this point by keep asking Stephen questions about the food and he joins in trying to make it longer because they were supposed to finish.
4:56 - Look at how Karl is staring at Stephen! Funniest thing I’ve ever seen!
I could listen to these three talk for hours lol, so much fun
The entire riff at the end was absolutely amazing.
In The Office, Karl would have been Keith's perfectly round Scotch Egg.
You never see an old man eating a Twix.
Saw one with a homeless Chinese fella once
@@oz6909
Was he 'airy?
aand you’ll neeeeever see an old man eat a maaaaaaaars bar bar bar

I love how Ricky is just smiling a bit while Karl is talking, like he is waiting for some stupid reply. And Karl is awesome, by the way.
The funniest part of interviewing this trio is how rapidly the interviewer ceases to exist. You only need one question to open things up, they'll do the rest.
Karl's sheer endurance
I loved that last bit, Classic Gervais and Merchant.
i love interviews with the three lads, you'll notice in almsot all their interviews they always end up just talking between each other, the interviewer's always find it hard to get a word in lol,

1:25 Steve revisiting old wounds with that one
"there's something for the veggies, but who wants to bother? All pasty in the corner." HAHAH that's so true!
It's funny them talking about Karl being in a janitor style job this idea must have spawned Ricky Gervais idea for Karl in Derek.
when steve says 'thanks for askin mate' it gets me EVERYTIME!!
love how karls face looked shocked every time he sees stephen merchant, even after 12 years of knowing him. 05:14 for example
When they mention the Weird Crush and that Karl won, he has a little smile to himself.
YESSSS a Karl video i haven't seen!!! 10mins of pure joy coming up!!
I love how personal this conversation got :D Brilliant.
Karl's smug face when they're talking about Heat Weird Crush!! LOL XD
Am I the only one who felt happy when Karl sort of complimented Steve on his looks?
LOL at Karl's expressions near the end.
15 seconds in Ricky gets someone to move from behind the interviewer... Shades of Christian Bale.
yeah it's a strange one that. He's very polite about it. I've always wondered why he did it
Yeah, slightly Diva move that!!
I think this smile is permanently stuck on my face.
I love Karls little smirk when they bring up him winning weirdest crush hahah
The interviewer tried his hardest to be funny and cool by quoting things they've said and failed
I thought the questions were quite good, except for the stupid wedding lol.
The way they started taking the piss at the end with the menu and stuff was hilarious though.
The interviewer is absolutely horrendous and gets ripped apart at the end hahha, gwarn Smerch lad!
The guy made an entertaining bit of tv he knows they’ll use that wedding thing as ammo for a joke. What you think this guy asked RICKY GERVAIS to say something nice because he thought it’d be a good wedding gift? Certainly would be better than if he didn’t ask that.
5:02 the way karl is staring at steve like he's seeing a flying cow, lol
The last few minutes of this are bloody hilarious lol
4:57 That look he gives Steve
That last part was amazing!! xD
I love merchant for saying "you're getting married?" 😂😂😂

i found it really nice that even at the start when they didnt know they were being filmed they were still nice and polite, :)
extremely odd interviewer

I love how they discuss the wedding at the end
i like the fact that almost one third of the time they were on about the wedding of the interviewer. it was a terrible blessing as it was authentic
Rickys face at 09.50 is like here comes some role play lol
my left ear enjoyed this
Karl I wish I could tell you that your great. You fill my days with laughter, lol.
The best thing about the last minute was carl stuck in the middle reacting to their drivel.
i actually choked when he said the stephen hawkings thing. lmao
I absolutely love how you can tell just how drastically dissimilar Steve and Ricky are to Karl JUST from the way they sit.
One of the best interviews I've seen them do
