Just got one all set up with inav and ready to test. With just a bare plane, no fc, she flew great. Had the expo to much and it was very exciting, but flew geat. With a 4s 5000mah pack it flew for 20 min and brought it down. Plenty of battery left

Oh please a KISS Inav setup would be great. I think we would all be grateful for that I still have three planes that I really am not looking forward to maidening . Really would like to talk to Pavel and get him to influence too get a KISS version of Inav Forked that doesn't have a thousand different settings or is just preset so you buy only one type of FC and load the software and it works.

Nice maiden. The idea of a Simplified INAV Series is a good one, particularly with a focus on the aircrafts physical setup as you do.
With li-ion cells (1:12) voltage sag is the concern. It's less an issue on launch to demand higher current as cells are full and voltage sag will be minimal. Demanding high current when the cells are over half discharged could be concerning, as voltage sag becomes increasingly more pronounced at lower state of charge.

Today I flew my 250g dart and asked a friend if he knows what happens if you try to roll or loop in stabilization mode with the Kopilot maybe you know? Lol! I know this is for a inav set up but I'm sure you know about the Kopilot as well... Thanks and it flew great for a maiden test flight!
It won't let you roll or pitch enough for aerobatics in stab mode.

Yes, simple INAV would be good - I'd say setting throws properly before maiden is the most over looked thing.
I just wish this plane didn't (almost literally) have an achilles heel. Breaking those bottom rear stabilizers on a landing means you'd better have another plane at the field with you. You can print those fins, but then you're just transferring the impact into tearing of the fuse.
$60 on banggood for the kit but the nose turns me off 😂
