All I want: - Modern setting - No specialists, just standard looking soldiers with the class system. Maybe let us pick the face of the soldier and what the kit looks like or something. - Loads of weapons like BF4 had. - I like the 128 player servers, 2042 just didn’t have enough people playing the game.
Also more city maps. There are waaaaay too many open field maps in BF lately. It makes getting from point a to point b so annoying. Also would like to see some weight to the weapons. I feel like I’m shooting an air soft gun.
Kind of ironic too seeing that BF4 is based in 2020 which is around when things got tense between them. Also BF4 manifested the collapse of the Arecibo Telescope. Which happened IRL on Dec 1st 2020. Spooky stuff..
Having China, Russia, the US or anyone else in a multiplayer shooter is fine. Generally speaking multiplayer doesn’t have to involve the politics of a conflict. We are fictional soldiers on a fictional battlefield taking or defending ground. There’s ambiguity. The issue arises when a campaign is added. Most writers for mainly multiplayer games with a campaign slapped on go the easy route and have some bad guy and his group of cannon fodder that do some great evil, with the story being that the world is saved and everything okay at the end of the story. It has conflict, a villain, the most mild character arc, and resolution. With the change in market where the big bad can’t be a faced actor like Russia or China cuz “my overseas sales” they opt the easy route of PMC. What I don’t think these companies understand, is that the general environment can be the villain. Most conflict aren’t WW2 where there’s a set good and bad guy. A respectable story can be told with these big faces without some country trying to nuke another or the purposeful targeting of civilians. Have the story be more about surviving a conflict, than killing Valdimir the slayer of infants.
in 2014 it was no problem beacuse a war between those countries looked like an extremely hypothetical situation now it looks like a very real possibility and NATO IS borderline in a proxy war with Russia. Also (not that the BF series is know to be an immersive milsim but) do you still want to play a game in the role of a russian soldier in 2024? I know I don't.
@megapro125 I would want to actually. There are some particularly nice clothing pices i quiet like. Still think it is better to not to include them with the war going on. Even Arma 3 dodged that bullet and that was with no war going on.
How has Dice and EA not figured out that the 4 very specific classes make battlefield, battlefield. Without them it’s just COD with specialists and a new name slapped on
oh they know. but they dgaf, they also know what makes cod so popular and they want a piece of that. who cares what bf fans want. the new bf whatever will be much worse. theres just one way this goes, down.
The 'golden era' of Battlefield has passed. It's basically out the door at this point as much as CoD is. That 'What would CoD do?' mentality means Battlefield may be following suite at this rate.
@GalmLead COD is doing fine this year. Only Vanguard and MWII were trash, and even then they still sold incredibly well. I can't get behind how many people are saying this game is ok to play now. Before I refunded I played the beta, and I remember myself and everyone else being infuriated that they got rid of the class system to sell goofy character skins. Did everyone else get over this and I'm the only one still bitter about it? Having the assault, medic, engineer, and recon classes was something that made battlefield unique.
@@confustled No. What I'm saying is, people shouldn't settle for greedy game design. That being said, I recently booted it back up again (had it free from ps plus) and I enjoyed it. It looks like they've come to fix a lot of people's issues and concerns. They brought back the class system, and scaled back the cringe character dialogue and silly outfits. I was pleasantly surprised to see DICE did that.
@@georgeghleung We need The Finals level destruction in the next Battlefield. GOD the destruction in that game is amazing. Imagine leveling a whole house full of enemies by dropping artillery on it
As soon as they said this game was gonna have specialists that’s when I knew I wasn’t buying it and still haven’t to this day. Played 2 hours on gamepass and realized this game was a dumpster fire.
If they had passion they would prioritize destructibility leveloution and player size. I want a planetside scale type game imagine an epic 2 hour match with 256 vs 256 multiple fronts. commander type players that control the movement in the game. There is so much good about old battlefield I wish the modern devs would study.
@@tabudi-_-3 I think a frontiers approach would be interesting, you have multiple different instances (matches) you can go into to based on a large scale frontline and wins and losses in one instance affects the field of play in the others such as new spawns or vehicles or large scale changes to the map such as a dam blowing up on one instance affects the adjacent frontline instance. Gaijin tried something like this in WarThunder with the World War mode but it takes a lot more thought and development than gaijin were willing to give it to work
One thing I love in bf2042 is the bot lobbies, it helped tremendously when learning how to fly a jet/helicopter and what were good settings. Especially when you'd have to wait possibly an entire game to even get lucky enough to use a jet, but in bot lobbies they respawn constantly most fun training ever.
@@MrMustang13i sort of disagree that it’s entirely tactical as after bad company they mainly focused on the arcade aspects as a shooter. I will say the rock paper scissors of classes and vehicles were much better in the old games than 2042, BF4 and 3 had much better maps where positioning and roles were important to winning, everything had a counter so every class was important even the tools had awesome usage, to the point if you had too many people picking specific ones and not adapting their play style to what was happening in game they would basically neuter their entire team. (looking at you recons for offensive rush)
I don't think there will ever be a comeback of Battlefield, the modern state of the industry and the modern dice just don't lend themselves to the kind of formula that made Battlefield an unique and epic experience.
@JohnnyCarterMusicOfficialspecialists are basically classes that has a name and a personality to their character unlike the old battlefield games where you’re playing as a generic soldier with no name and no personality
@JohnnyCarterMusicOfficial probably because it’s something different from the old battlefield games and i guess it makes the game feel like call of duty
@JohnnyCarterMusicOfficialbecause it’s stupid when you see 15 of the exact identical person running around, and the system was just put in to cash in on the hero shooter trend.
@@whybother7632 And what about the older BF games that featured Russia and China? They could absolutely make a USA vs Russia game, they just don't want to.
Nato vs PMC leaves significant room for character 'identity' which at best means premium cosmetics for character customization, but could very well just be premium skins, or at worst, they kept specialists. Definitely concerning that 'heros' very well could still be on the table.
I wonder if it’ll be like Medal of Honor Warfighter where we have operators from NATO countries as our specialists.. idk what they’ll do for the PMC faction.
Warfighter 2 MP had a nice idea with the real SoF and their equipment and weapons, I really appreciated it but not expecting anything good after BF2042…
"we had an appetite for more 2042" how dare they. We wanted Battlefield BC2/3/4 with pretty graphics and new stuff. Instead they copied call of duty's homework, almost too a perfect T, and tried to sell us that aftermarket slop. Battlefield 2042 will go down in history as one of the most fumbled games of all time. This was hands down the worst battlefield game of the franchise and will probably keep that title for a long time. They removed classes and It took them two fucking years to practically double the content of the base game. Enough said I think. Dice CANNOT fumble the next game it has to blow this planet apart with awesomeness OR AT LEAST be as amazing as Battlefield 4/3/BC2 or this franchise is dead.
Im so interested what the marketing will be like. For BF2042 it was all "ooh a return to form, ooh its for the fans" They really just gonna try that whole shtick again?
@@froston4 To be fair I get your stand point, however I think DICE introduced AI incase if anyone wanted to play the game at an later date due to the servers being empty, or there to train players to becoming a better player at the game.

I've been saying they need to do mainline numbered series and Bad Company series and keep them separate. Mainline for normal BF, BC for their goofy experimental bs like 2042 was
BC2 is my absolute favorite BF, but this team needs to learn what makes BF BF. Imagine they do create BC3 and it's just like 2042, I couldn't think of a heartbreak worse than that.
I would imagine NATO is standard army uniforms and the PMC will be a build your solider thing. I would be fine with that. I would be fine with being in NATO with military accurate clothing and going against a PMC group that is not. That’s fine because it still caters to what I look for in a BF game.
What a pathetic end to a pathetic game. My heart goes out to the Battlefield RUclipsrs who've had to put up with this game for 3 years. EA Motive has done good work in the past and I hope they can help turn this franchise around. Honestly all they have to do is modernize BF4, minus the UCAV.
The main points that I can think are. Aim for a BF4 with updated graphics, don't give us specialist we don't want them, we "want" normal soldiers in a big war, just another gear to the machine. Don't add special perks of stuff like a reviving pistol, seeing through walls and so. Don't follow trends, we don't need, and I repeat WE DON'T NEED characters dancing or emotes, focus on what's important. Let us customize our soldier with camos and pieces of military gear like hats, war paint, berets and so, just as you can custom almost every aspect of your gun, we want to custom every aspect from our soldier. And OVER ALL ASK THE COMMUNITY WHAT WE LOVED FROM PREVIOWS BATTLEFIELDS. There are a ton of Vets with good ideas out there, if you try to reach to us as a community believe me, we will get in touch and give feedback to you.
So im betting they wont do Specialist seeing as how everyone hated them. However, I would like to see them release cosmetic stuff for our Mil sim characters to wear. Different helmets, boots, masks, ghuilli suits, coats and body armor stuff. Maybe just have you create your own opperator even and thats the one you use and it can be anything a medic, engineer, assault, recon, whatever, you just equip the items you like and want to use and the look you want to have on your own custom character.
I have been burned too many times now. It'll take at least a year after release before I even think about getting the next Battlefield game. Zampella or not, I just don't trust DICE to deliver a finished product on release.
@@yeahman147 Of course. EA really hates money and want their stock prices to get halved with every release and therefor is telling them to release it unfinished or sets deadlines without asking any questions after it happening a few times - totally can't be that at least the old DICE structure was absolutely greedy itself and that they never told them the actual state of the product as releasing a buggy game and fixing it up later down the line worked in their favor ever since BF3.
Remember, when watching the upcoming "Gameplay engine" Trailer, Just remember EA/DICE are Great at making trailers, and terrible at making Battlefield games this past 10 years. Don't be sold on the hype, and don't pre order until you see the actual meat of gameplay. I hope they will actually try this time creating a masterpiece again. "Make Battlefield Great Again"
If we get the following I might consider picking it up eventually. -Modern setting -No specialists -Class system -BFV Gunplay, and character customization -A scoreboard and chat
"Simple" things that EA/Dice can do to make the next Battlefield awesome (and win the trust of players back): 1. Use the cinematics of BFV and BF1 - these two games were dark, gritty, and beautiful; they showed the true brutality of war - plus they were visually stunning 2. Take movement mechanics and animations from BFV (e.g. vaulting, moving while laying on back, jumping out of vehicles, etc.), this really helps with the immersion. Side note: get rid of the stupid third-person downed view, it should be first-person. 3. Stop making the UI colors look like I tiktok video, less is more - it should be simple and clear. 4. Remove specialists and add the class system back - squad play is super important, people should play with a role and purpose 5. Stop making the characters look like cartoons, BF is suppose to be serious. If I wanted to play a game with characters that looked like pop culture, I'd play COD. 6. Make the game setting in modern day. Don't do this futuristic crap with a bunch of dumb gadgets. Make the gameplay based on the players and their skill, not some weird robot dogs or wall hacking scanner. 7. Create a game mode with a story like Operations from BF1 or Grand Operations from BFV - every battle won/loss mattered for the next round. It felt like your were fighting for something, not just pointless shooting for some mercenaries. But what do I know, I'm just a fan of the old Battlefields..
Believe it or not almost everything in 2042 is technology we have TODAY. Even the robot dog. Are they practical? No. The basic solider isn't going to have grappling hooks or carry bouncing grenades. Most of the "future" tech in 2042 is stuff that is currently in R&D right now. Plus the entire Battlefield game series is a continuous story. Like how the last dlc of BF4 was with rail guns and hover tanks. The story is progressing closer and closer to the Battlefield 2142 setting. But as far as game play, yes. Specialist are so over done and corny. But the black pill is I don't think they're going away. Too many opportunities to push micro transaction skins. Battle passes. Live service nonsense. It's the future of games. Because people literally can not help themselves on buying the next big budget slop. Because we're all piggies. Eatting our slop. We may complain it's slop. But we're all good piggies that'll eat the slop nonetheless. We look only in the mirror as to why AAA games are the way they are.
@@jimboslamthey should do a game in the 1980s or 90s, no futuristic bs, but still somewhat modern equipment. Things live Javelin missiles and M1A2 Abrams and T72
Just make Bad Company 3 and call it a day. If they did that and wrapped that story up. I think they would be surprised at how well a well crafted story campaign and multiplayer can do in 2024.
Complete with: - 2 full maps (able to have up to 256 players) - 2 Assault rifles (1 with attachments) - 2 Snipers (one is actually a DMR, and the other has interchangable scopes) - 1 LMG (It's just a gun with a belt... who can tell the difference) - 2 Pistols (Glock 17 and Glock 18 for variety) - 1 Crossbow (all games needs a crossbow) - 40 Hero Characters (all quirky but soldier-like, with skills like: flying, laser-eyes, telekinesis etc.) - 80 Skins for each hero, unlockable in-game (by using real world money) - A Battle Royale mode (they've spent 70% of their development hours on, which will be abandoned after 1½ weeks) - And finally a Helldivers mode, called "Underworld Swimmers" (because we can't have a game without the newest trend)
My dream BF would combine the gritty war aesthetic of BF1 with a modern setting and BF4-style customization and weapon variety. A singleplayer War Stories mode with missions loosely based on real modern conflicts, and a prologue mission where you play as several frontline soldiers who don't last long as a nod to BF1's prologue. I'll just wait for them to make an AI game-development program where I can type that into a prompt, because I can't rely on EA and Dice to bring me a game like that...
Battlefield 2042 has currently less average player per month than BF1. Also ''this is the triple A game developpement life cycle.'' NO. This is EA way of making games. GTA V was milked to his maximum potential
In order to even consider a private military to start to fight a single country you would need to solver so many supply chain, motivations and financial issues that it is straight up impossible under any circumstances without the private military being backed by another government. It is quite a dumb idea.
Even after watching this video, i still cant get over the fact that battlefield 5's potential to be best ww2 shooter died off so early. The eastern front content + extensions could've brought so many disappointed players.
I want to see Battlefield take place on American soil. It's only been done a few times, once in BF2's Armored Fury expansion, and in BFHardline.. theres so much potential! Especially with every conspiracy nut thinking a civil war is coming (who knows.. maybe it is..). But with CODs new MW trilogy totally botching their story and not going the "Red Dawn" route, it seems like the perfect opportunity for Battlefield to swoop in and do it themselves. Imagine multiplayer maps in LA, New York, the Baltimore harbor, mt Rushmore, new orleans.. I pitched the idea to Marcus Lehto a few years ago, and he seemed to like it. It's so sad to see his team shut down, though.. so disappointing Here's hoping we hear more soon about this new game!
A Battlefield game taking place in America with the Second American Civil War and WW3 raging at the same time would be kind of cool. But will be wokeifide 😢
BC2 still have some servers with loyal players on PC. Battlefield 3, I played a few rounds with full Conquest servers these last few weeks on Xbox. I think I'm gonna rent a BF3 server and make it all Rush.
Right? But a real remaster, not just a shader pack, then full price. Old maps, new maps. Same setting, same weapons and vehicles. Throw in a couple of new modes and maps and I would be happy to even buy DLC packs like in BF2 times.
I never played 2042 even though I spent years waiting for it since it was announced. The launch scared me away and then the revamp of the ladder seasons was kinda pointless getting into, knowing they’d Call it quits sooner or later. This is coming from a guy who grew up on bf3 & bf4 and still play them and bf1 frequently even after all the years. They’re golden, and it’s gonna be damn hard to top them.
I cannot trust EA or dice. The marketing for BF2042 wasn’t just dishonest. It was all a straight up lie. They deserve to be sued for false advertising.
I remember how Dice and EA reacted to people hating all the DEI that was announced for BFV. Never give people like that your business. They don't want it.
They branded the game as the most "historically accurate" WWII games ever made as a character is powersliding with an MG42 blasting grenades and V1 rockets out of the sky . Followed up by a disabled female with prosthetic arm so advanced looking she might of ripped off of Samus's corpse from Metroid Prime. Yeah, people were pissed, because EA and Dice didn't understand the concept of being respectful to its audience and source material. Just about every company has made this same mistake over the past 6 or 7 years so hopefully they start to learn their lesson.
If they wanted to make money off of cosmetics, I don't see why they don't just have normal ass soldiers and shit, but give them a level of customization. Like grounded gear for each of the classes and factions.
When I think of bf4 and the hours I spent playing when I was in a new place with no friends near by, it makes me so sad to see how far this brand has strayed
@@noone-em3wc They tried to suck up to China to sell in their market when they added them in 4. Surprising no one on the planet except for the empty heads at EA, China was mad. Now they're just too scared to make any country the "baddies". It's another aspect of the politics and inclinations of the industry these days.
I disagree about BF's single player characters. I liked BF3 and BF4's stories and characters. I was disappointed how they let Dima die in BF4, Hannah was cool, Irish and Pac too. I also liked how the campaign sets up the setting and story and the multiplayer was the aftermath. Like BF4's campaign was trying to prevent a war between China and the US, finding out that Russia would back China if a war did break out; then the multiplayer was the inevitable US invasion of China and as the DLC would release, it would tell you how the war panned out with Russia's "Final Stand" in the frozen regions in Russia. BF3 did the similar with even showing the continuing war in Iran after the Earthquake in the Aftermath DLC. That stuff is brilliant. It's a shame 2042 failed so hard because the setting really did sound cool as a post global warming apocalypse with low resources, failed states, and constant natural disasters (apparently tsunamis, landslides, and even fire tornadoes were also supposed to appear but EA pushed the game out before it was finished).
Battlefield 3 was the last great battlefield, i still play it today, and even though its jankier then the new stuff, its still better designed then anything that came after. PSA Log into BF3 on the weekends and fill up those servers guys :)
Battlefield and COD are fighting over maybe 100k customers, meanwhile we're all over on Helldivers II paying 30 bucks for a game with over 400k players at its peak and Joel hasn't even shown us his big plans.
Dude I was thinking today. I would not be surprised if EA sees the success of Helldivers and changes the next BF to have a similar mode to HD2 but a lame half baked version. Just like they did with Hazard Zone.
Battlefield needs to go back to its roots. I think they only way they can gain the trust back is to either a) listen to their community and make a modern day Battlefield similar to Battlefield 3 or 4 or b) make a strong singleplayer experience such as Bad Company 3 with the core mechanics of traditional Battlefield (destruction such as Levolution). Everyone is cautious of the next battlefield thanks to the horrific launch of 2042 so EA has a lot of work to do to regain the community's trust with the next instalment.
BattleBit actually did a better job with this mechanic. If DICE still had talent they would implement it into the current/next title. I'm not holding my breath anytime soon.
Pretty much like any software company. You'll have to give up your principles, integrity and compromise on every decision or thought you ever had. Until finally, an investment company comes along and force you to compromise even more. You eventually quit or get laid off. Then you find your dream job, repeat step 1.
Classic would be more like BF2. Ever since BF3 it has mainly been the closer to CoD styled experience honestly, can hardly call it a classic if the game is pretty much the same apart of the looks and guns used otherwise.
@@Unknown_Genius Yeah, BF2 is definitely classic in the literal sense, but I really was just talking about how good BF3 and 4 were, and how they became classic games in the franchise. I own 2-4, as well as the Bad Company games, and like them all, but BF2 is extremely dated by now, lol. BF3, 4, and the Bad Company games still hold up nowadays, IMO.
The problem from 2042 was the plastic looks and stiff movement that didn’t feel battlefield. Shadows wouldn’t work on some objects and destruction was down. Not to mention the specialists god forbid that NATO vs PMCs? Sounds like classes may come back but with goofy skins because pmcs don’t have an allegiance. EA is greedy and if they want more money. Stop copying CoD and have an identity for gods sake
This new game in the franchise needs to pack a punch like Battlefield 1 in 2016 or I can see EA possibly shelving Battlefield if there's another awful launch like 2042. Here's my ideas to make the ultimate battlefield experience IMO Bring back classes and remove specialist Large scale destruction More focus on detail to the maps rather than open sandboxes with no cover Bring back Operations mode to substitute for the lack of single player to tell the narrative of the next game Use the same voice acting methods they used in Battlefield 1 to bring the intensity back Squad call in Abilities to assist in matches Commander mode to coordinate squads Overall, pack in the best of every battlefield into ONE package and you have yourself a comeback.
it may not be possible for them to pack a punch like BF1 did simply because BF1 was a time where DICE's devs were the most talented and experienced, unfortunately after BF1 many of those talented and experienced devs left. I know they changed leadership but that may not be able to offset the loss of such talented devs much if at all.
for me id prefer 5 classes(assault, engineer, support, medic, recon), 5 player squads, 35vs35 or 40vs40 for the main modes. for the reinforcements i dont want any equivalent to the V1 rockets in the game(bad squad leads), instead id like them to add more options to the reinforcements that may help your squad or the team as a whole. I was thinking add something like a team wide spawn beacon(15 spawns with only 1 allowed on the field per team), maybe a mortor since they removed them due to support players over using them(only 1 allowed per team).

LMAO Even before this game came out what we wanted from a new BF game has been said over and over but yet they went and made 2042!! I have little faith that the next game will be anything anybody asked for. It will release incomplete and missing shit just like 2042. They will over promise and under deliver. I just do not see how a team that needed to revamp ALL the maps and add back classes and scoreboards will be capable of putting out a full fledged BF game. The only hope is Zampella actually has a vision and sticks to it.
For real, people are crying about the operators and cosmetics The biggest problem with this and BF5 is that they just cant make maps anymore??? What happened??
So much potential that won't be actualized because of real world politics. The PMC element could be so much more impactful if they acted as a third, smaller, neutral team that can shift allegiances on the fly. Would be so cool!
The idea of NATO VS PMC would be cool if the customization allowed you to pick what soldier/nation you are, like how World War 3 let's you pick your characters gear and nation flag/patches. But knowing EA they will probably make the customization bare minimum and charge you out the arse for cosmetics.
BF3 > BF4 > BF1 - these three games (pick your order) was the absolute golden age of Battlefield. If Dice and EA want to make money, they literally can just go to those three games, modernize the graphics and sound, and copy everything else. Easiest profit of their fucking lives
I hope if the next game they allow us full soldier customization since one faction is a military alliance and the other is a mercenary group thus there would be no uniformity in dress code. I am not saying we bring back specialist I am saying we do something similar to battlefield 5 but in bf7 it would make more sense
There may be some uniformity to the PMC. I am guessing the PMC will be a heavily russian-eastern influenced faction in terms of gear and vehicles. They probably do not want to make any direct reference to the Ukraine conflict right now by having russia as a faction. Which is stupid in my opinion.

If they don't return to the old Assault/Medic/Support/Engineer/Recon class system with it's gear restrictions I won't even consider picking it up
"Simple" things that EA/Dice can do to make the next Battlefield awesome (and win the trust of players back):
1. Use the cinematics of BFV and BF1 - these two games were dark, gritty, and beautiful; they showed the true brutality of war - plus they were visually stunning
4. Remove specialists and add the class system back - squad play is super important, people should play with a role and purpose

NATO vs China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea would be cool
literally why do they always come up with some fake ass enemies that make no sense these days?
Don't worry US and Israel already working on that title
@@noone-em3wcMEC vs US vs EU from Battlefield 2 was interesting 😂
@@noone-em3wc Private military = Wagner group so basically BF7 is NATO vs Russia
Yeah bf3 and bf4 had a real backstory been told through dlc and they didnt even sweat for that.
3:38 what if he meant EU vs PAC? :)
i'd like to see minimal pre-orders and even on release, send a message that the consumers aren't happy.
No preorders brothers
Battlefield 3 was the last great battlefield, i still play it today, and even though its jankier then the new stuff, its still better designed then anything that came after.
PSA Log into BF3 on the weekends and fill up those servers guys :)
Battlefield needs to be gritty like battlefield 3
No BR and back to premium service, also we need a campaign so we can relate to the narrative
We WANT BF4 Movement And Animation etc why doesn’t the movement in 2042 feel like COD………. Less visceral.
@jcaashby3 Likr they did with BFV?
Battlefield needs to go back to its roots. I think they only way they can gain the trust back is to either a) listen to their community and make a modern day Battlefield similar to Battlefield 3 or 4 or b) make a strong singleplayer experience such as Bad Company 3 with the core mechanics of traditional Battlefield (destruction such as Levolution).
Everyone is cautious of the next battlefield thanks to the horrific launch of 2042 so EA has a lot of work to do to regain the community's trust with the next instalment.
It’s crazy to think we haven’t seen a great modern Battlefield game be released in over a decade.
NATO vs PMC, already sounds lame
Yeah, are we afraid of offending Russia or the PRC or something?
Hoping to see fortification building from BF5 return to BF7
BattleBit actually did a better job with this mechanic. If DICE still had talent they would implement it into the current/next title. I'm not holding my breath anytime soon.
what does it take to work for a gaming company like designing games n stuff?
Pretty much like any software company. You'll have to give up your principles, integrity and compromise on every decision or thought you ever had. Until finally, an investment company comes along and force you to compromise even more. You eventually quit or get laid off. Then you find your dream job, repeat step 1.
Private Military, I believe they trying to make a knockoff Makarov
I would LOVE to have classic Battlefield back. A game that plays just like BF3/BF4 did would be amazing.
@@kasper_429 True, thing is that Battlebit is the true BF2 successor imo, BF3 is more a good mix of CoD and BF than a classic BF feel to me
video is such a reconstruction of next gen BF. AI vs Men
BF3, Bf4, and Bf1 should be the examples they use for this next battlefield. And maybe the fortification system from bf5 (and only that from it)
BFV could’ve been better.. but it really is not a bad game.
@@jacobshreves5594I agree, i really liked the V1 Strikes too
9 seconds, let's go
I want the ability to zero my scopes brought back.
The problem from 2042 was the plastic looks and stiff movement that didn’t feel battlefield. Shadows wouldn’t work on some objects and destruction was down. Not to mention the specialists god forbid that
NATO vs PMCs? Sounds like classes may come back but with goofy skins because pmcs don’t have an allegiance.
EA is greedy and if they want more money. Stop copying CoD and have an identity for gods sake
This new game in the franchise needs to pack a punch like Battlefield 1 in 2016 or I can see EA possibly shelving Battlefield if there's another awful launch like 2042. Here's my ideas to make the ultimate battlefield experience IMO
Bring back classes and remove specialist
Large scale destruction
More focus on detail to the maps rather than open sandboxes with no cover
Bring back Operations mode to substitute for the lack of single player to tell the narrative of the next game
Use the same voice acting methods they used in Battlefield 1 to bring the intensity back
Squad call in Abilities to assist in matches
Commander mode to coordinate squads
Overall, pack in the best of every battlefield into ONE package and you have yourself a comeback.
it may not be possible for them to pack a punch like BF1 did simply because BF1 was a time where DICE's devs were the most talented and experienced, unfortunately after BF1 many of those talented and experienced devs left.
@@aa-kz7hc it could be a dev issue and I guess they had issues training new comers on the new Frostbite engine or it could possibly be executives making the final decisions and chasing trends rather than making a fun unique experience
@@aa-kz7hc I really think dice should let the community vote on ideas for them, I feel like the community would be able to cook up something special if they'd listen
@@MoistRolls it could be all 3, since most of the people working on 2042 could be newbies it could've been incredibly hard for them considering they were also upgrading an engine they knew nothing about, to top it off there is speculation that upgrading the engine set the game back by months. then you have the execs which if I had to take a guess they are probably the people who proposed increasing the server count by 2x because there no way a new hire would do something so stupid especially when they are already having a hard time learning the engine. these are just speculations but the one thing I know for sure is that most of the talented and experienced devs left.
Will the next one have a scoreboard at launch? Will maps have cover? Well the first season release within 6 months? Will it contain more than one new map? Will they put breakthrough objectives on rooftops behind 2 elevators? I'm so curious...
LMAO
Even before this game came out what we wanted from a new BF game has been said over and over but yet they went and made 2042!!
For real, people are crying about the operators and cosmetics
The biggest problem with this and BF5 is that they just cant make maps anymore??? What happened??
So much potential that won't be actualized because of real world politics. The PMC element could be so much more impactful if they acted as a third, smaller, neutral team that can shift allegiances on the fly. Would be so cool!
Classic class system, we want the og way of playing and also have an actual campaign. Also, this is a personal grudge, get rid of sliding
Get rid of sliding and bring back crouch sprinting from bf5!
@@pasindupereraSL still if they are going to make it nato vs pmc they cannot make the nato troops all American soldiers there has to be some level of diversity to emphasize this is a military alliance and not just the USA
