Not gonna lie, this one required a LOT of suspension of disbelief. But it was short enough that I don't mind.

Why does every single one of these stories contain the most beautiful woman the protagonist has ever seen? The protagonist even says this isn't what this is about five seconds after mentally thirsting lol

Uh, if he blew out the airlock, there would no sealing the ship because a blow out implies catastrophic damage. The airlock would have been permanently breached by way of warping or just being ripped off the ship.
Aside from that, good story.

@@MrMcMuffinJr1999 astronauts do not use metaphors for such things. Just because Hollywood loves having crews composed of space cowboys doesn't mean NASA loves sending out wild cards or people who throw metaphors around in what equates to a doomsday warning.

I just found your channel I have watched a couple videos and I’m impressed my G. And I love basically anything about space lol but I really enjoy space and military type creepypastas I guess lol some times I think I enjoy the story on them types more then anything scary or not.
I remember listening to this story narrated by another channel, in my opinion you did a much better job. it's not only your voice and clarity, but also the clean well balanced recordings that set your channel apart.
PRECISELY! I tried listening to another channel, but the narrator had such poor diction I could barely make out what he was saying every fourth or fifth word. At one point I thought to my self "I know he's speaking English, but it's like listening to a language that is foreign to my ears. " This channel is SO much better.

@@MagnetarYT that background soundtrack you use and your style of narration make it so immersive...I actually asked ScaryJuJu the same question and he said he'll think about it in the future as he's in university...we have plenty of ghost and cryptid related creepypasta channels, but cosmic horror is something else...the scale of the surroundings and the paradoxical claustrophobia and loneliness and silence make cosmic horror so much more compelling than most other creepypasta types... anyway, thank you for your consideration... waiting for the podcast format eagerly... 👍🙏🙏

The saw how you stare comment seems off, adults don't tend to act like that in what appears to be a semi military environment. Noticed this is a number of stories.
So does the ship go 32 or 24 X the speed of light? What about all the negative mass and negative energy for the Alcubierre drive ? The creature transforms, well ok I guess, it also seems to grow, where does that mass come from? The one guy who says, "keep your dick in your pats" his statement is strikingly odd. Just odd.

"Max speeds" are fairly silly when speaking of spacecraft. What's much more relevant is the "dV" capacity of the vessel- i.e. how great a change in velocity can be achieved. It takes about 10,000 m/s dV to reach LEO, while for a vessel to reach light speed would require 300,000,000 m/s dV.
I'll be sure to consult you whenever I write my own stories! 👾
As for this story and the ones I narrate from other authors, I don't like changing the source material too much out of respect to them 😅

If you would like to gain a working familiarity with the basics of spaceflight, I can't recommend Kerbal Space Program highly enough. Scott Manley here on YT also does a good job explaining the topic, often using said program due to its accessibility and relative accuracy.

How did you contain the antimatter because it couldn't of been made of anything containing matter even electromagnetism cannot hold antimatter because even a magnetic field contain particles which are just energetic versions of matter. 🤓
I, ME, MYSELF, personally, would NOT be the first crash test dummy on thee first FTL ship, whose estimated speed is “based on calculations” while simultaneously toying with new “energy sources” the likes have never been seen before. LMFAO 😂.
As “fun” and “exciting” as it might seem at first thought, playing around in space in ANY manner, can cosmically, comically, and HORRIFICALLY “screw” you in ways we’ve never even imagined before.
So yeah, it’s a real nice, fun fantasy, but It could not be me babe.
