Hello, I am Magnetar. I reside within the Void where space and time become indistinguishable. It is here, too, where I can hear tales from all across the multiverse. Tales of horror, future technologies, AI, Aliens, cosmic horror, world-ending catastrophes, apocalyptic events, space, and more.
So, if you're brave, join me in the Void. Listen to their screams, their pleas, and their stories.
But remember - Astrophobes be warned
----------------------
What is a Magnetar?
Magnetars are some of the most mysterious of all heavenly objects and only one in ten supernovae create these dense cosmic dynamos. Out of more than 3,000 neutron stars discovered to this date, only 31 total magnetars have been confirmed, making their strange existence extremely rare.

Nice bedtime story
Excellent variation of "Stargate", thoroughly enjoyed this story!
I really liked this one. The plot point of finding a destroyed civilization reminds me a little to "The Astronauts" by Stanisław Lem. Also known as "The Silent Star".
This is such great storytelling! Easily commensurate with the old, classic radio shows I loved as a child. 💛
Reminded me of the same thing!
Wow what a great story. Imagine being such an advanced civilization and you’re wiped out by.. those things. How simple and horrible.
Holy shit this was good. Terrifying, grotesque, and absolutely good.
Fastfood for the mind. Most creepypasta stories are as cohesive and creative as highschool essays. That's because the same people write them.
Just listened to this the other night but it's worth another go. Btw I'm glad to see the channel growing you deserve more subscribers.
Mass effect flashbacks at the intro there, great stuff. Man, that always gets to me. I am going to listen to this now when I go to sleep. Having not smoked weed for 2 weeks, I get really lucid dreams, so I am not sure if this is wise. 3/4 times I get nightmares after all :D
Mass Effect had a good story. This just sounds like written by a highschooler.
Those Prothean visions in the beginning looks like a closeup of a hamburger being made.
In a very short time, you've become one of my top creepypasta narrators, mate. Keep up the great work... dood!
This was the very first story of yours I ever listened to. You are now by far my favorite Channel on RUclips. Criminally underrated. You should ha ve more than 1 million subs.
I’m happy to hear your stories. They are thought provoking as well as eerie. I’ve been telling my friends to listen to you. Today I’m listening to everything Magnetar. Love your voice. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This was a good one. My imagination ran along with the words of this story. It would be cool to see this as a movie or a short story in a anthology movie or show. Good work 👍
that's about as scary as it gets.
Magnetar! F&%# YEAH!!
It's literally credited in the description. Just like I told you the last 8 times you commented. Nothing I'm doing is illegal. So can you please fuck off already your troglodyte on
Lmfao
You know I just recently found this channel and god I love it I've always been a huge fan of space and sci-fi stories
Same here. After I ran across Magnetar I unsubbed from the others. This guy picks really good stories.
Thank you both for your support 👾
@@MagnetarYT ofcourse ofcourse, I'm always down for a good narration and so far I've really enjoyed the ones I've heard 😁
Same here 👽 between Magnetars narration and his pick of the stories it's definitely a awesome channel it's the only one that I'll donate to and help grow soon the void will consume all of creepypasta 😆
@@GeorgiaPeachHolly well it's supposed to be a tribute to mass effect and honestly I love it that was my all time favorite game
Hey my Friend thanks for another awesome narration. I really enjoy the Stargate kinda stories. One of my favorite movies
Signals not going through the gate way make sense if it is invisible as it being invisible means light passes through & radio is just a type of light
This is a very good story..thank you doll face
Looks like we found the reason for the Tsar Bomba.
Good voice skill. REal. Enigmatic. Gravitas of the story in there. Or rather so far so good.
You should do a continuation of this. Perhaps from the aliens point of view before they were thinned out/forced to extinction or a continuation of the current plot on the human side of things. Since it's been left open with the dog dying (unfortunate)... I think this universe has some potential.
Second
@@RectorFilmThoid
We do need a prequel on the civilizations back story and all they found as well as the world of the centipede also 2 parts on how earth contains the infestation.
Excellent story,
reminds me of Stargate.
Great to see a channel dedicated to Scifi. Keep the stories coming and I'll keep listening. You have a pretty wide lane open to you.
Whoa that was a siccc intro love it !!
Thank you 😊
Great story!
This is why we always send in a mech or 2, and if it's a space gateway, a small fleet.
by mech I do not mean manned robots, I mean mechanized divsions.
Each of these tales would be the best Black Mirror episodes.
so star gate but far more dark.
Star Gate horror series would be awesome because the idea is how old are the star gates and how far is it reach.
I really enjoy this story. I love the Stargate movie/shows, this one hits all thise notes, but less campy and more terrifying
Right Stargate was an awesome movie but I never gave the TV series a chance maybe I should try to watch a few episodes
@@Spectre1776 they're entertaining, but the movie was much more serious. Though, the lore and history is always progressing, throughout 3 series.
Also, there is a lot of it, and during these times, lots to binge is always helpful
@@chadp363 which show would you recommend for me the entire series is on Hulu I was wanting to start on Atlantis just cause I love the Atlantis theory
@@chadp363 it's hard to out act Kurt Russell lol The Thing is a masterpiece
@@Spectre1776 Stargate sg1 was first, it branched later with Atlantis. And then universe came out shortly after that. Plus there is movies for the series as well
The Atlantis theory was fun
That is so good! The eerie music and the nice clear voice is perfect. I'm a believer..... oops..... I mean subscriber! Thanks.
Good story, you got me.
"Chevron 7 locked!"
I like your channel. Good reads and loaded with scifi, which I feel is generally lacking in the creepypasta sphere
For a reason. There is already enough mediocracy in creepyfastfood
Thank goodness for the NUK U LER explosion of the the thermo NUK U LER bomb.
I love your channel! Thank you
The dog being a carrier wasn’t even a surprise. The whole time I’m thinking about the opening to the movie the thing. what kind of dog knows to run away from another animal?
Only been watching your channel for about a week, but have already gone through nearly half your videos, great narration and great choice of stories each time love listening when playing games or doing things around the house. I'll be keeping an eye on your posts for a long time I think
Thanks for you support 👾
Thank you!
Listening while doing some work at home. Brilliant stuff, Mags! Who writes these? You?
Some are me. This isn't.
Tobias Malm is a genius. You should do, "Something Happened 65 Million Years Ago" next.
That's a cool story I liked that one
I plan to...when I WAS going to do it another channel I know a lot of my listeners frequent did it too. I didn't want to release it around the same time, ya know?
@@MagnetarYT Scary Juju? I suggested he do "The Last Safe Place in the World is an NSA Facility in Alaska" after I saw your video.
@@MagnetarYT yeah juju is pretty cool I try to listen to all the creepiest of pastas lol and honestly Magnetar is killing it guy's between the background music and his narration it's my favorite channel 😄
This would make one good movie
Fastfood for the eyes, that's what it would be. So many ppl here love mediocracy.
I FUCKING LOVE THUS STORY.. listebebd to it while i was falling asleep.... Gave me acid mdma dreams
8/10 creepy for sure, but not too original. Portals are now such a common trope that it reminds me of Stranger Things, Stargate, Contact, Half Life, Alien, and many more. Also, I feel the dangers in the story are very present day earth-like. If the story is about the exchange between two far away civilizations in the universe, then the real dangers should be barely unimaginable, but not impossible. I believe the experiences that can drive you the most insane are the ones that are highly improbable, but are still within the laws of nature.
.ty
Nice story, thanks
I so hope this is not how people will react to a world ending problem lol.
I love sci-fi horror stories
Like tales of the crypt cabinet of curiosities some of these stories would make good sci-fi short films like the outerlimits
Wow interesting story
i noticed a little typo in this videos background with is “We Built a Gatway” instead of “Gateway” but it’s all good bro!!
That was pretty pretty good, hi from sunny day in New Zealand
I wish we had a true military scyfy special ops series of star gate because that is what this feels like. Just imagine the power supply of the gateway.
How did the oversized, black centipedes built their own gateway in the first place? ✌️
It's obvious they didn't they were encountered.
I broke down a wall and found an ant. Surely the ant can build a better wall!
@@johnro5650 possible, but not probable. 😀
They didn't, the tall humanoid creatures built gateways to multiple points in the galaxy in hopes of connecting with intelligent lifeforms, one gateway found it's way to the cent's world and they looked at it and said "ooooh...LUNCH!". By the time we got there the tall grey people were basically done and the cents saw us and our open gateway and said "ooooh...seconds!"
@@sinecron6684 nope, if you're going to listen to this again, they only sent the blueprint. I really am sorry to disappoint you. 😂
@@orlandoterte you're one of THOSE people, I see, I won't waste my time then, sorry to disappoint YOU 🤣🤣🤣
Tabby's star may be a binary system. It's great to hear stories built on real non-fiction speculations -- some theorized advanced technological structures may be causing their solar flickers. I want more stories like this. :)
great narration, i'm falling in love with this channel! Question tho, isn't the spelling in the background of the video supposed to be gateway? or is gatway a spelling i didn't know about?
You're correct. I fucked up and will fix it soon 😭
Lmao I never noticed 😂
Lol nah its the GATway
Bllllllllllllap!
*Miscellaneous other battle rap gun sounds*
New klee er
Not nook yoo ler
Nuclear
Constructive criticism. Many of the characters in these stories are scientists and would pronounce the word correctly.
Very much enjoying your work and i hope you continue to provide such entertaining tales for me to listen to on night shift.
Bravo good job loved the story it had my toes curled the whole time. And I knew for a fact they dog was not ok I called it right before the nuke went off and look what Happen
Finally a narrator that doesn't sound like a 12 yr old boy unlearning english
Finished it while driving for a medical company at night. Great first listen. Good narration and kept me on edge. I like listening to these at the evening of my shift and I'm glad I found this channel.
But a story that sounds like it was written by a 12 year old kid.
Generals: study it??? For what, we have guns. What chance does a civilization infinitely more advanced than us stand?
There is an episode by "Well There's Your Problem Podcast" about "The Nedelin Catastrophe", in which a Soviet space rocket blows up because the project was rushed.
That made the story about Russian generals pushing to insert the sphere into the space portal so damn realistic! 😄
So let me see if I understand:
Alien civilization sends blueprint
Alien civilization sends space ball to activate gate
Space ball arrives within a few years of building gate
In the meantime alien civilization gets destroyed
But not enough so that in the very moment humans go through gate a dying alien walks up to them
Yeah, that’s a bit of „it happened like that cause the plot needed it to“ bad writing
Noice !
Basically a jumpscare when I heard nov 18, which is my birthday
Happy late birthday
@@MagnetarYT lol thanks!
Good damn eye eaters
Heard this before but much prefer your version 👍👍
The dog...
Shoggoth
I'm halfway through this, but I swear I've heard it before.
Possibly from another creator
ME Gheth flashback intro..?
You're on a role sir.
I'm having trouble getting time to record a lot so I'm at least trying to give you all SOMETHING 😭👾
@@MagnetarYT I appreciate you and your considerate dedication to your fans. That's adding to our reasons to remain loyal.
Just like I told you the last 8 times you commented. Nothing I'm doing is illegal and it's credited in the description. So can you please fuck off already you troglodyte
@@GeorgiaPeachHolly most, if not all creepypasta narrators reuse available art for the genre. If you are not new to the creepypasta community, you will also hear the same story from at least 3 different readers. It's only certain cover art that is legal to use without copyright laws force channels to pull videos down. You'll even see notice background music used by multiple channels on different stories as well. You need permission to use art from the artist unless it's open source. Musicians like Myuu have carved out a niche in the creepypasta music space to allow a background setting to come alive for readers. I hope this eliminates your feeling of being cheated by seeing cover art repurposed lol. And that shock shouldn't stop you from subbing and enjoying mags work.
@@GeorgiaPeachHolly I mean, you didn't think that the art on creepypasta videos were created by the narrators right? Graphic designers are highly paid for their work it's not just something that any old person can throw together with their videos. You also know that narrators are usually not the author's of the stories. One of my favorite authors is Tobias malm which is who writes alot of space pastas used by scary Juju.
Awesome! I have only one minor "complaint" if you can call it so - nucLear, not nucElar :) Sorry for me complainig, keep up the good work!
One if the last remnants of the south in me that I'm trying to fix 😭
@@MagnetarYT well I'm not from the US and I'm not really familliar with the regional differences in the language, so sorry once again for me bitching about it. It just caught my attention :)
Haha no biggie
🤣
Heard this story on another creepy pasta channel
Sorry?
The monsters seem inconsistent with their intelligence.
This was a favorite I really liked this story there's another one out there it's like this one but the worms 🪱are in the ocean I can't remember the title
@@GeorgiaPeachHolly dude, chill out. Did you create that sequence?, and do you feel it a deep personal disrespect that he uses and credits it in his video?
I just don't understand your problem. It's just not something a person should spend their time stressing over. There's a lot more to life that white kniting mass effect. It's just visual entertainment, it doesn't care either way
@@chadp363 couldn't have said it better myself 👏
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Gatway?
28:20.... No mouth or nose
30:00 ....forced itself out through the mouth. I always catch inconsistencies in your stories magnetar. This particular one was pretty blatantly obvious but there are many in almost every story I listen to of yours. Most of which relate to physics in general fact that there's just no f****** way
Idk why you're telling me. Tell the author.
Also in terms of physics, I think a lot of stories force you to suspend rational thought. It's science fiction after all.
@@MagnetarYT dude Magnetar is right it's sci-fi so it's all fake and he's just narrating a story written by some other unknown author but I'm curious lol what inconsistencies are you talking about
@@Kcburnit 👈🏼 doesn't understand what fiction means.
I bet you are a hit at all the parties.
TIL, Dyson Swarm :)
Please change your into, I come here to help myself sleep, but that's made harder by getting jumpscared by the earrape. It gets me every time lmao
I'll consider it 😈
Seriously though, thanks for the feedback, I'll come up with something soon
@@MagnetarYT awesome, could you please also refrain from the loud noises in the middle of videos too, I was just drifting off when the radio/intercom went off in the story and made me jump out of my skin ahahaha.
Other than that, your videos are perfect, music is nice and low and doesn't drown you out like some others, you've a great voice, have no weird pronunciations of words ect (some people do, and that's worse than the jumpscares), keep up the awesome work!
I just developed a new intro, lower tones and hoping the glitch effects aren't to harsh. Please give me your feedback on the vid going out later tonight
Wicked, thank you so much!

Lots of this story is based on actual quantum physics. We have already done part of this in the late 90s. We super froze material to absolute 0. Cut it in half keeping it at 0. The two halves could result in same. Like hit one the other would respond. They actually sent one piece to space. Still responded as if both halves were one. But it couldn't transport anything. This is just Intel I was allowed back in the 90s also. I'm sure this technology has increased beyond my current understanding. 🤔
The most fictional part about this story is that it was Russians exploring space lol
The largest black thing came out of the alien's mouth. It had no mouth. He pulled the guy in the wheelchair, who was in front of him. What?
First viewer, cool!
What's a "GATWAY"? (In the title shot for the video.)
👀
Good story, well read. But one of her eyes WAS missing, not WERE. And it's NU-CLEAR, not NU-KYU-LER.
This story had me right up until the guy stated "its obviously a doorway" after learning or knowing absolutely nothing about the object. I haven't seen that much stretching since 10th grade P.E. class! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀
Ikr?
And the civilization was in ruin for a long time, but conveniently the last surviver survived long enough to shoo them away in a very human way, when they arrived.
It goes both ways....like a bisexual
I enjoyed the story, but for the love of all that is holy. It's nu-kle-ar not nucular.
My one and only critique; the intro is just a touch too long.
They collapsed 1000s of years ago but the last one waited amidst the apocalypse so he can shoo them away just after they arrived.
How convenient... for the author of this crappy story.
Are there only teenagers writing stories on reddit or also people with writing experience? I bet Chat-gpt would do a better job than this.
How unoriginal.
You know another story where a civilization sends gateways to multiple planets and them when humans travel there they've been killed by Gian centipedes?
@@MagnetarYT Don't listen to that person. The story was good.
Btw. not quite space portals, but: The short story "The Crystal Egg" by H. G. Wells has a little bit of a similar premise. The civilization there apparently sends crystal eggs to other worlds as probes, so that they can look at them.
@@MagnetarYT Stargate? Plenty have similar ideasAdd some insect monsters and the ‘tabby’s star mystery’ stuff and yeh…. It is unoriginal. It’s very derivative. Not badly narrated tho 🤷♂️
