Oh, a straight-down-the middle, unironic, honest to godness Cthulhu Mythos story, but written and set in modern times?
What a treat!
That is an Awesome story, of cosmic horror
I must admit that was wonderfully done. After a few minutes, I paused, sat down, and listened with full concentration.
Me 2
I'm in, me 3.
I got annoyed and skipped to where the story actually started.
Genetic Memory makes sense to me. The obvious fear of something that would be a genuine threat to our ancestors, while learning the danger of more modern things.
Genetic memory, also known as ancestral memory, refers to the idea that certain memories, knowledge, or traits can be inherited or passed down from one generation to the next through genetic or epigenetic mechanisms. It implies the storage and transmission of information in an organism's DNA.
H.P Lovecraft + Magnetar FTW! ❤
Thanks for all your hard work👍👾
Magnetar is the best channel for science fiction
At work!!!
worry not, the SCP has procedures for this.
Of course, I doubt it though
The atmosphere feels heavy and scary. It's beautifully done.
This…is…AMAZING
Magnetar is on a roll!! Thank you!
I needed a new story like this
Well said
Wonderful job. Thank you
Don't stare into the Abyss....it might decide you look like a tasty snack LOL
Smashing them out atm ....gr8 stuff ❤
LEGIT BANGER. Had all the vibes and gnarl of cosmic horror
Listened to this going to bed.
Have to say that it's very well thought out.
The initial start of the trip sounds a lot like the "ego-death" experienced by a lot of trippers: an unraveling of who you are down to smallest fibers of your being.
The creature is very classically lovecraftian, and the "darklight" experienced by the narrator sounds very similar to the "light that is not light" from Frank Belknap Long's "The Hounds of Tindalos".
The experience of the narrator, being forced to torture innocents, seems similar Dean's corruption in hell from "Supernatural".
The function of the entity seems similar to Echidna or Caoránach, as a sort of "mother of monsters".
All in all, it was a very interesting story, excellently narrated.
Great job with this.
It really was well done and pretty scary
Holy shit I am missing so much😂
I gotta catch up, gosh darn.
Also question, what is the Eclipse timeline (like what’s the present and prequel and allat. Or like, what should I start off with to get a chronological understanding of the series)

Yeah do more of this ritual cosmic horror stuff,,, please
Love your stuff mate. Always a good mix of different things. :😊
Happy New year to you all thanx Magnatar 🎉
you have nothing to fear from the blind god. nerlethotep on the other hand...
Yeah but if he were to wake up, different story
The title made me giggle for some reason, no way am I passing this up! ...It's a happy giggle, no matter how insane it sounds.
...The author writes like they've actually done ritual magick, this is what they're like, not as extreme necessarily, depending, but these are the kinds of things you can experience, it's very addictive. It's not really like tripping on durgs, but some could interpret it that way if they need to compare it to something. Maybe DMT compares, in a way.
Damn, that was good! Thank you!
How does one begin to dip their feet in ritual magic? I've attempted trance/gnosis states before, staring into candles, tantric breathing, but haven't seemed to have any sort of "breakthrough" or noteworthy experience with it.
I've experienced lucid dreaming/astral entities, met the goddess Hecate in two separate dreams (before I even knew who she was), and I've had profound psychedelic experiences meeting entities in those. Just haven't had much luck with magic.
I feel like having someone to guide or "show me the ropes" might help me to get somwhere with it, but everyone I know who claim to practice magic are in other parts of the country.
@@heavenknight18 Sounds like you're a natural, Hecate seems to like you, if you're into it, you could start by finding out all of her correspondences such as colors, stones, animals, timing, and history if you haven't already and make up your own ritual. For her I think your own intuitive ritual is best, you can even throw out the traditional correspondences if you know a better way. The first go around can be a consecration ritual for her items.
The most important book for correspondences hands down is 777, there's an incomplete pdf version too last time I checked. It helps to learn Hebrew.
If you have a more Hermetic bent I personally like the O.T.O. They have a masonic type structure of degrees but you can have any belief system, any religion, and lodges all over the world for community functions like Gnostic Mass. The Grand Lodge has a website, they're the official O.T.O. who won the court case and have publishing rights to Crowley's (rhymes with "holy", that's important btw) works. You go at your own pace and there's no pressure to do anything at all. Here's their website if you want--oto-usa.org/
They also have podcasts and videos.
I think the Rosicrucians are pretty cool, but I'm not that familiar with them. Like the O.T.O. you want to know which branch is which.
As far as I can tell, don't ever join anything calked "Solar" anything, they're always horrible for some reason!, I mean the worst case scenario type stuff. If there's an upright Solar lodge or whatever out there I'd like to know.
I wish I knew of more different kinds of communities to point out, like Wicca or Voodoo but I haven't lived in New Orleans since the 90s. I don't know if I've been any help but if you have any questions I'll do my best. There's lots of good stuff right here on YT too.
Stunning, awesome, fantastic and something that can be made into a movie!!!.. what an adventure, thrilling, beautiful, amazing and speechless!!!!. Like the adventures the protagonist had that can’t be worded, so are my reactions, listening to the story!!!. Close ur eyes, imagine this happening and be wonderstruck and experience it!!! Fantastic!!. Listening to this just before I sleep. It’s 2350 now, Time to sleep, Time to dream!!!.. 😍👍👌
Hey Brother awesomeness as always. Thanks for the Hardwork you put into keeping the Horde occupied lol 😆
All jokes aside Thanks for the Hardwork you put into your narrations. It definitely shows. You have a way of telling a story. That makes me feel as if I walking behind the MC watching it all go down.
this story is just great...i love how your voice narrates this story like it happened to you,,,very well done Magnetar,,,your voice gets this story across .this is probably why you have so many subscibers doll face and you rightly deserve them. please keep it up and i find that i appreate you much more so please don't ever quit because you belong telling stories not in another profession you are becoming right up there where you belong and you are grabbing peoples attention...so thanks for the great stories... Question tho? can you maybe do one your self with a halloween twist? because you always do them so well
That's what I'm saying magnetar

Uranus?
Couldn't resist
Funny
Man, carbonmonoxide poisoning sure is hard
I listened to this a few nights ago, it was totally bad ass, in my opinion one of the best modern cosmic horror I've listened to, it really captured the atmosphere of the genre and the narrator, of course you magnetar were excellent, I should have subscribed right then but I didn't, I did that today, I guess that how I roll, but please keep those Lovecraftian creepys coming, were not scared, right people, right,,,,,,,?
Wooooooo
Of course he's still out there. We are his dream. If he wakes, we vanish.

*''It all looks so beautiful on this side...they should have sent a poet''*
5 gold coins if you tell me where that's from.
*To the author: great story man, I've been there.
The voice over was awesome but the story just wasn't scary. Too much tiime describing that "which can not be described " I think I stopped paying attention about half way through it. Which is odd since I normally l I very his narrations.
I thought it was awesome magnetar
Omg to much talking...
Leave Lovecraft out of this gay format creepypasta
How does' ones' voice change???
