A big theory that I've been reading/hearing is that Goji initiated this change because he knows something... bigger... and more threatening is on its way. Theory is that it's something extraterrestrial, and recalling how much of a challenge the last extraterrestrial monster, Ghidorah, was, Goji isn't taking any chances, and went for the powerup in anticipation of that, with the battle against Scar and Shimo being a surprise. It's still really funny to me how when Kong went to the surface, Goji was just like "BRO, WE HAD A DEAL YOU STAY DOWN THERE. Oh, there's some janky fool with army and a cool scaly gal. Aight, bet."
His new form is great but they can take his evolution a lot further in future films. I'd like to see him continue to grow taller and gain new powers. Maybe they could give him Shin's ability to shoot lasers out of his spines and Gemstone Godzilla's ability to supercharge his punches. Some people have also suggested he could eventually get wings like in the cave drawing and I would love to see that.

I feel like Adam is trying to transition Godzilla from his former state to Millenium. Pink is point blank in between Blue and Orange. Plus in the novel, it is said that Godzilla is not done evolving. So I think we’re going to see Godzilla evolve fully into Godzilla 2000, where he will be even more powerful and deadlier
There are rumors going around that Godzilla was gearing up for a war but possibly a bigger threat than shimo. Can you say Space Godzilla or Destoroyah?
He actually was gearing up for all three in the sense because in the movie he was sensing the distress signal from the Iwi in the Hollow Earth and he had absorb as much radiation and energy he can to evolve and become extremely more powerful to be able to fight Skar King and his ape army and Shimo and in the future like Zo-Zla-Halawa/Spacegodzilla or Destoroyah or even something else.
I remember seeing on one of Jared's AMA'S before it was taken down that at one point this was going to be a transitional form before he would evolve again later in the film but was scrapped during production so we could see him change again in the next movie.
If I were to make the next movie and it had Destoroyah, then the second encounter between Godzilla and Destoroyah when he's bigger and not built like a better Scylla, then Destoroyah would have a proboscis to drain Godzilla of this energy. This would help Destoroyah evolve into his flying form where he now has his own pink beam. So Godzilla would stay the same in terms of shape, but his color would go back to blue, possibly even obtaining a white form in order to actually beat Destoroyah.
Thats very unlikely. It is too much also. Destroyah does not have the ability to take Godzillas abilities, or drain him. It to big a leap. They will not be doing that. Something else new will happen, we will all have to wait and see. I Remember doing a Mv Godzilla Redesign in the Beginning of last year, i was heavily inspired by Millennium Godzilla's Dorsal Plates and on making it have Longer and bulky arms and a Spikey appearance, the Atomic Breath was Orange just like Godzilla 2000, he also had those Blades on his Shoulders, nowadays looking at Evo Godzilla, it's almost like seeing my draw come to Life 🥺
I would like the form to stay but with some minor changes like him having a little bit of a bigger head to fit more onto his body than his tail being like a little bit longer aswell and I think it would be cool to keep the design but instead of the pink which I do love replace with the blue atomic energy! It would be dope

Too me I would rate this in top 15 because godzilla is no longer like godzilla, yeah godzilla is stronger in this version but if he continues into a flying godzilla than godzilla wouldn't be a godzilla anymore, it feels like the design is trying to be shin godzilla, godzilla should go back to his previous form, I would want to see a godzilla film that uses this design and in the finally of the film he turns back into his previous form or do a godzilla vs king Ghidorah were the characters sve skull island and destroy apex.
Tiamat is basically still alive inside Godzilla because he had to absorb her DNA and the high amounts of energy in her lair in the Arctic Ocean to evolve and her DNA and her powers still live on and exist in Godzilla and he may have new abilities due to him absorbing Tiamat’s DNA besides being supercharged and he may now possess new evolved venomous glands which can deliver a deadly bite that can slowly kill any other titan that dares to challenge Godzilla in this new evolved state in the future and this venom is something similar to what certain types of fish, snakes and some monitor lizards have and also due to Tiamat being a female titan she also may have reproduced offspring asexually in the lair and after Godzilla killed Tiamat he went into the lair and he must have saw her eggs and he may have consumed her eggs for him to evolve as well so Godzilla absorbed Tiamat’s and her offspring’s DNA and obviously the amounts of energy and radio solar winds from the sun in that area where Tiamat was in the Arctic Ocean.

His new design is imo really dope. It reminds me of G2000 alot. Also i get why people don't like it but Adam wingard did say that that this form was just temporary.
At first the look was a bit jarring (not necessarily bad), but I really kinda dig it now. After watching the movie and seeing that he isn't a constant pink LED and only glows when appropriate, I quite like it. I love the slightly swept back look of the dorsal plates and I'm also in the camp of liking the new physique. I'd love to see him really show what this evolved form can do going forward.
I think by the time we see Godzilla again, he'll be back to blue. The extra spikes protruding from around his head etc would be cool if they stayed and Godzilla retained some of Tiamats appearance. I think he was only pink because it was a fresh transformation.

It’s a massive improvement imo. He was way too bloated before and looked fat even though everyone that defended the design insisted it was muscle. The only thing I’d change going forward is make the head a tiny bit bigger especially around the snout area and also maybe change the pink back to blue.
Godzilla’s new look definitely took me by surprise in the trailer when I first saw it. But overtime, I eventually came to accept it since, given how Godzilla’s design has changed over the years, I see this as a big step up considering that I view it as Godzilla adapting himself in order to combat threats that he’d be overwhelmed by in his base form.
i really hope he keeps this evolved form i really love it a lot idk why other non goji fans like it but i love the design i was hoping his radiation colour would change and it finally has but i have seen him in his thermo form but he looks amazing in his new evolved form

I believe that by the next movie, Godzilla will gain back some of the weight he lost. The artist who designed Godzilla's evolved appearance said that his lean look is temporary, as rapid evolution depleted his fat stores. Additionally, if Godzilla doesn't continue to replenish his pink energy, his blue color should return along with his dorsal fins turning from pink to white, being more in line with their traditional color.
Just give him his gut back, you don't see Aligators with slim waist line the biggest strongest and more dominant lizards are big and fat! That slim waist just doesn't look right

Too me I would rate this in top 15 because godzilla is no longer like godzilla, yeah godzilla is stronger in this version but if he continues into a flying godzilla than godzilla wouldn't be a godzilla anymore, it feels like the design is trying to be shin godzilla, godzilla should go back to his previous form, I would want to see a godzilla film that uses this design and in the finally of the film he turns back into his previous form or do a godzilla vs king Ghidorah were the characters sve skull island and destroy apex.

Tiamat is basically still alive inside Godzilla because he had to absorb her DNA and the high amounts of energy in her lair in the Arctic Ocean to evolve and her DNA and her powers still live on and exist in Godzilla and he may have new abilities due to him absorbing Tiamat’s DNA besides being supercharged and he may now possess new evolved venomous glands which can deliver a deadly bite that can slowly kill any other titan that dares to challenge Godzilla in this new evolved state in the future and this venom is something similar to what certain types of fish, snakes and some monitor lizards have and also due to Tiamat being a female titan she also may have reproduced offspring asexually in the lair and after Godzilla killed Tiamat he went into the lair and he must have saw her eggs and he may have consumed her eggs for him to evolve as well so Godzilla absorbed Tiamat’s and her offspring’s DNA and obviously the amounts of energy and radio solar winds from the sun in that area where Tiamat was in the Arctic Ocean.

At first the look was a bit jarring (not necessarily bad), but I really kinda dig it now. After watching the movie and seeing that he isn't a constant pink LED and only glows when appropriate, I quite like it. I love the slightly swept back look of the dorsal plates and I'm also in the camp of liking the new physique. I'd love to see him really show what this evolved form can do going forward.
I think by the time we see Godzilla again, he'll be back to blue. The extra spikes protruding from around his head etc would be cool if they stayed and Godzilla retained some of Tiamats appearance. I think he was only pink because it was a fresh transformation.

They need to get rid of the thagomizers on his tail, make his head bigger, and fill up his stomach area. Then he’d look good to me.

I love the design.. I think in the next movie he will still have the save appearance but will return to the blue glow.. but I do not care if he keeps the pink one
It’s a massive improvement imo. He was way too bloated before and looked fat even though everyone that defended the design insisted it was muscle. The only thing I’d change going forward is make the head a tiny bit bigger especially around the snout area and also maybe change the pink back to blue.
Godzilla’s new look definitely took me by surprise in the trailer when I first saw it.
But overtime, I eventually came to accept it since, given how Godzilla’s design has changed over the years, I see this as a big step up considering that I view it as Godzilla adapting himself in order to combat threats that he’d be overwhelmed by in his base form.
i really hope he keeps this evolved form i really love it a lot idk why other non goji fans like it but i love the design i was hoping his radiation colour would change and it finally has but i have seen him in his thermo form but he looks amazing in his new evolved form

I believe that by the next movie, Godzilla will gain back some of the weight he lost. The artist who designed Godzilla's evolved appearance said that his lean look is temporary, as rapid evolution depleted his fat stores. Additionally, if Godzilla doesn't continue to replenish his pink energy, his blue color should return along with his dorsal fins turning from pink to white, being more in line with their traditional color.
Just give him his gut back, you don't see Aligators with slim waist line the biggest strongest and more dominant lizards are big and fat! That slim waist just doesn't look right
