Ever since I saw her in the movie, i felt extremely bad for her. She basically is a titan that just wants to be free and not enslaved. I wanted to see Scar King get what he deserves, and Shimo delivered.
I do wish we were given more Shimo to develop her personality or perhaps see how much psychological damage was inflicted to her by Skar King. Imagine being a monster who's biology is ice and having to be caged up in a claustrophobic cave surrounded by lava. The agony you must feel from that must be immense.

I'm glad shimo isn't another villain titan. Even the most powerful titans can have a soft side. But they can still be dangerous when provoked. Look at Godzilla when Apex was messing with Ghidorah skull to control Mechagodzilla or when he pulled up on monarch in kotm he didn't like it when they had their guns pointed at him

Shimo is just a misunderstood titan she was enslaved by skar king for over thousands of years chained up by him and tortured and have been under that hot and burning area I think it is quite sad if you think about.
People kept complaining that Shimo was just a victim but when you really think about her situation it just makes it more heartbreaking and seeing her at the end look at the sky after Skar King’s death you can tell that she missed being outside and seeing a clear sunny sky
Shimo could well have a place with Kong's new home, or she might wander Antarctica to be by herself for a while. With 11K years of enslavement under her belt, it's only natural she'll want to be away from such things as titan wars. When she's sorted out where she wants to be, perhaps she'll come back to Kong?

Shimo and Godzilla are confirmed to be about equal in power in the film with a fight being a coin flip. So it’s more Godzilla being ready to keep fighting and Shimo had no interest to keep fighting she didn’t want to in the first place. She is also much younger being around 3 million with Godzilla being 250 million. So she is still very much a youngster as far as titans go

Is he really tens of thousands of years old? If so how did he live so long despite the ape titans having shorter lifespans than most other titans? Why do his eyes glow blue? Is it the result of his incredible old age and the majority of his life spent in darkness? Or is it because he tapped into some sort of energy which also prolonged his life? What is he? Is he a type of kong subspecies that’s more lanky with orange fur? (I know Adam Wingard said Skar King’s fur is actually painted on and not actually red as a symbol to intimidate the other apes. But he also stated his fur is MOSTLY painted meaning his actual fur could still be more orange in coloration like Suko, who is possibly his son along with other orange furred infants we see.) And if he is a subspecies, why is he the only one of his kind in the tribe? Are the rest of his kind extinct? Is he an outcast? Is that why he is leading a group of apes who aren’t his own species? How and when did he take control of Shimo? And what was he trying to have her do in Rio? Was his objective to start another Ice Age? And if so how would that benefit him? Apes can’t survive in extreme cold so was his plan to start an Ice Age, retreat back to Hollow Earth, then later have Shimo undo it after most life on the surface had died? Or was he simply blocking out the sun because it hurts his eyes? There’s just a lot of questions surrounding his character that still haven’t been answered so I’d love to see more videos on him!

I was surprised to see Shimo still with the apes at the end of the movie despite all she had been through. Perhaps it has something to do with her being kept by Skar King for so long. Although she's now free from his control, perhaps she's just become accustomed to being looked after by the apes. After all, she's fed well, has a safe place to live, and doesn't have to worry about competition from other titans. It's sort of like the befits of being kept as pet in a lot of ways. Or perhaps she just might have felt loyal to Kong after he freed her and that's why she stayed. Either way, I do hope she eventually decides to live a life of her own and migrate somewhere else. Most likely somewhere colder on the surface such as Antarctica or even somewhere in the Arctic like Tiamat's old layer seeing as there's not many places in Hollow Earth I think she'd feel most comfortable.

I always knew that Shimo was a victim and slave to Scar King when Scar King was constantly torturing her it always broke my heart and I felt really sorry for Shimo and I’m so glad that Scar King is gone and She is finally free and now she’s free to do whatever she wants and free to live wherever she wants.
One thing I'm not sure if everybody has noticed, but I did. Do you ever think that crystal on Skar King's bone whip was also used for mind control and not just telekinetic pain? Since we usually see Shimo's eyes mostly lit up like she's powered up for her freeze breath. We of course haven't seen her normal eye color until she's freed from her crutch by Suko destroying it in the final battle. That's the impression I get since it looked similar to the wavy swirling hypnotic eyes in cartoons.
Shimo reminded me a lot of Valka's Bewilderbeast for How To Train Your Dragon 2. Not just for the obvious similarities of being gigantic, quadrupel ice beasts but their personalities are somewhat similar; being relatively peaceful, unless in combat and just wanting to be left alone to their devices so they can be at peace. Unfortunately for that Bewilderbeast, his story ended with his death but for Shimo... there's a lot more potential and hopefully the creators at Legendary can utilize it to the best.
Technically Kong is the last of his type but has found his sub species variants. Likewise Godzilla is also the last of his type but sub species variants like Doug are still around.
Dear god Shimo is just like 2018/2019 Broly cause both have trauma of being tortured into being weapons of mass destruction and with both being free they can find the happiness and love for want for SO long

I always knew that Shimo was a victim and slave to Scar King when Scar King was constantly torturing her it always broke my heart and I felt really sorry for Shimo and I’m so glad that Scar King is gone and She is finally free and now she’s free to do whatever she wants and free to live wherever she wants.
I hope in the next movie, Their is alot about Godzilla's history, his emotions and the story of his parents.

One thing I'm not sure if everybody has noticed, but I did. Do you ever think that crystal on Skar King's bone whip was also used for mind control and not just telekinetic pain? Since we usually see Shimo's eyes mostly lit up like she's powered up for her freeze breath. We of course haven't seen her normal eye color until she's freed from her crutch by Suko destroying it in the final battle. That's the impression I get since it looked similar to the wavy swirling hypnotic eyes in cartoons.

Shimo reminded me a lot of Valka's Bewilderbeast for How To Train Your Dragon 2. Not just for the obvious similarities of being gigantic, quadrupel ice beasts but their personalities are somewhat similar; being relatively peaceful, unless in combat and just wanting to be left alone to their devices so they can be at peace. Unfortunately for that Bewilderbeast, his story ended with his death but for Shimo... there's a lot more potential and hopefully the creators at Legendary can utilize it to the best.
Shimo is a nice addition to the monsterverse
Technically Kong is the last of his type but has found his sub species variants.
Likewise Godzilla is also the last of his type but sub species variants like Doug are still around.
Dear god Shimo is just like 2018/2019 Broly cause both have trauma of being tortured into being weapons of mass destruction and with both being free they can find the happiness and love for want for SO long

I like the theory that the crystal may be linked to SpaceGodzilla, seeing as this movie focused on telepathic links and crystals, and those are connected to him.

Godzilla is between 2-5 million years old. Shimo is at least 3 million, but we don’t know how old she really is.
