This is at the Capitol Theater in Olympia. It's a huge old theater with seats and balcony, where Fugazi played and the Yoyo a Gogo and Intl Pop Underground festivals happened. Most weeks the shows happened backstage, which meant everyone entered through the backstage door from the alley and the band played with their back to the empty theater, and everyone gathered directly around the band. I was at this show.
This is like the northwest Rocky Mountain version of that Tracy Chapmen tune that’s always bumpin in the grocery aisle.
