      @@Built2Chill I read an interview with him today (from a few years ago) where he said that you could go to your local Guitar Center and easily find 2 or 3 guys who are much better guitar players than him (?!). He's incredibly humble.

      He said "i play whats comfortable to my fingers, like the way they are positioned" but then hes an amazing songwriter and that is unique to him

    I’m so glad to see and hear such good quality recordings of a show from this era. Not really much is documented with this three piece since they only lasted a year or so till it changed to Plouf and Nelson so to see even just a 30 minute set with them is awesome.

    2. If I could have seen Built to Spill and THEN Foo Fighters in 1995, it would've been one of my favorite concerts ever.

      I went to bts twice. Will go again if they are in berlin again. 20 euro is a joke to see them live. I love this band.

    I went to Andy Capp's homecoming party in Twin Falls, ID when he got out of the Navy - 1987 or 88. Doug was playing in Farm Days back then. Saw numerous times with SOC at the Oddfellows.

    So cool. Thanks for posting this. It's awesome to hear some of their hits before they became classics. They sound very raw and it's great. I love Doug.

    Wowzer. Gem of an upload. Sound is tops. Well done. 17:36 to 18:32 what a progression. Nowhere Nothin' Fuck Up ----> SO GOOD. It's the weirdest, most precise, clean vocal, passion explosion of that song I've ever seen or heard.

      it's 2016 - he did that during his 6/17/16 show in Chicago...I don't even think people understood what was going on. Others had their jaws on the floor...then they finished the song. it was brilliant.
