@@Thesketchupessentials hmm bt to be frank am an Apparel Designer and I started to learn this whole new interior/ exterior design from SketchUp and your works made me feel comfortable. So thank you for that..😊
Thanks Justin, great video. I'm new to Enscape for Sketchup and loving the possibilites. You mentioned you would like some suggestions for some more tutorials... i) I would love to see a tutorial on External House render, Day & Twilight...this would then lead onto next topic.... ii) How to light the interiors of a house evenly for an External Twilight render. ii) With the new release of Enscape 2.3, I see there are now 6 light types....Sphere, spot, line, rectangle and disk...would love to see a tutorial on how to use each of the new ones. =)
Hi justin, without using enscape how do we create spot light? Im creating pendant light but it is not self illuminating from source and in pendant light inner side is also not illuminating. Please help me with these.
drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uJoxaIrdyhcw_4tMQNxoMe4dINc006qm?usp=sharing see these images. in these images the image named as light.jpg is not showing the light effect as shown in another picture at the source.
Justin, Thanks for the helpful overview for version 2.2. I had tried out enscape a few months ago during it's earlier stages and was initially impressed with the program overall. The only things that turned me away was the lack of settings for materials, artificial lighting options and proxy objects. You have done an amazing job reviewing the updated versions features for materials and lighting. It would be great if you could review proxy objects within enscape v2.2 for skecthup. Possibly seeing if it is compbatible with the program skatter? To date I haven't come across any content going in depth with this feature. Dealing with proxies really is the main selling point for me at this moment. Keep up the great work in the meantime!
TheSketchUpEssentials render region division options. you have top to bottom , triangulation and a few others but i rather use top to bottom but I’m not sure how to fins that option in vray 3.4
thanks a lot for these cool videos ! i am working about exhibition / fair stands maybe one day you can give some tips about this ? because i m feeling i m doing something wrong with lighting . (sketchup&enscape)

Very informative video Justin. Thank you for the tutorial. However, I still have a problem with artificial lights being automatically off during the day time. Is there any way to keep them on?
@@Thesketchupessentials Thank you for your response. I have uploaded 2 photos of daylight and night time for your review. Justin, I'm having a bit of a problem with rendering my model... I've created a model with a complex, fluid, smooth surface. Yet when I render it (with a smooth reflective surface), it turns out blocky, or showing the multiple small faces (very small, but still problematic) involved in the shape. I'm wondering if you know of a way, aside from Photoshop, to lessen this issue...? I have two options I'm thinking of; firstly recreate the whole model in a larger size and with more segments per curve etc... OR take the existing model and shrink it an extreme amount in hopes that it lessens the problem. While the former is kind of a nightmare, it seems the only true course of action. Your help, as always is much appreciated! Thanks
Is your model really small? If so, maybe just start by re-scaling the whole thing using the tape measure tool (ruclips.net/video/YRC1gg4tWx8/видео.html) - sometimes you get weird results in SketchUp with small geometry. Alternatively, do you have any faces overlapping within your model? That could cause odd results as well...Finally, maybe try a different material and see if that changes anything. Thanks!
Great video Justin! Just one question. When i do self illumination material the light emitted by that material is too weak. Even if I do luminance maximum its too weak and cant seen in render
Hey Justin! can you make a video dedicated to CLAY RENDERS, I know it's pretty simple but you always tell the best possible sources and settings, so, I just wanted to cross check that what I know is good enough or not. Also please tell both for paid and non-paid options.

Sir I have doubt When I open enscape for sketchup It shows a message " Your graphics card is not supported.enscape is using your GPU from Intel" What to do ???? I also support lumion 6.5 There is no issue with graphic card
Generally it's a good idea when leaving a post like this to note what graphics card you have. That said, it sounds like you need a different graphics card based on Enscape's requirements...
Then this message is telling you that since you don't have a graphics card, it's using your onboard graphics processor built in to your CPU. As long as you don't have a graphics card, you're going to get this message
I have two questions plz give the answer. 1.Is graphics card is muct to use enscape for shetchup? 2.And can we create a walk-through of shetchup model using Enscape?
I don't understand the first question - a graphics card is a must just to use SketchUp, let along Enscape. And yes, you can create a walk-through of a SketchUp model with Enscape...
There's a color temperature slider in the image tab - does that help at all? Otherwise you might need to use this workaround - forum.enscape3d.com/index.php?thread/1096-can-we-adjust-the-light-temperature-emited/ - Thanks!
I have a question, I use sketchup make, I work with my father, who has a construction company, when we take some budget. I do the project of the client's house, and I send the photos of how the construction will be, but we do not charge anything for the plant, and everything given for free, we only do so that the client has an idea of how he will stay at his house, wanted know if it is forbidden for companies to use the make version of sketchup, I asked for some they said yes, but on the license of sketchup make says: "Trimble Navigation Limited and / or its affiliates (" Trimble ") grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-attributable, non-exclusive license to use the executable version of the Software for non-commercial use. If you are any type of business organization or employee of a commercial organization that uses the Software or Services as such, you are employed in a commercial activity and , so to use the Software or Services, you must purchase the SketchUp Pro license. " Are you saying that I can not sell the projects that I do, I'm just in doubt with the term "lend", does it mean that I can not give the clients the free projects?
