Man, I never knew I could save my custom made textures for later use. This tip changed my workflow alot because I don't have to redo my materials again. Thankyou for the great tip keep up the good work! Vray user here.
I sort of new but for me was always easier to make rectangular swatch in model and paint it with made material.. than copy paste to new project.. actually keeping swatches in separate file.. but library is maybe better organization.. will try that out .. today
Amazingly useful as usual! Specially that part of creating materials folders, I've been using sketchup for years and never thought of that!Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Cool!!! Looks like I need to get a license copy of enscape soon for faster and urgent projects coz vray takes a whole lot of time to test materials to perfection.. Amazing tutorial as usual :D
Aún no entiendo bien el inglés, pero definitivamente me encantó el video. Nuevo suscriptor. Saludos desde México. I still don't understand English well, but I definitely loved the video. New subscriber. Greetings from Mexico.
I started to use enscape after saw your videos because my laptop is i5 and actually it's always freez when i try to use 3dsmax, vray or lumion but im not able to buy a new laptop :( So enscape really helped me to rendering well. Thank you so much!!
I have a question which i hope it reach you since this is an old video, is there a a ready preset enscape library i can get acces to and download to my enscape file. Lovely video and amazing result!!!
Hi bro , I enjoyed your videos a lot , those tips you have provided are all very useful tips and tricks to improved the quality of work and workflow 👍🏼 can I check with you does the saving the of your preset material works the same as sketchup vray 3.4 version?
For vray. Just use vray material to save the vrmat in the location of vray materials folder on your c drive. Then you should be able to access your custom materials from the vray material library 😊 so don't have to use sketchup material window to load it
Very useful tips and tutorial! I got a sily question, what's the "basic" specs for running Enscape like you do? I'm now using laptop and it runs like potato
How create a bump, normal, displacement of a texture from a scratch in photoshop or are there any app that make things easier? Because I only download my textures in google images.
There are lots of free websites for materials, you don't need to use google images. Check my video on free pbr materials😊 I wouldn't recommend creating bump and normal maps from photoshop, it just take too long and probably won't create the best result.
Definitely is still Vray :) I just find it to be more realistic overall. Now that I have Vray Cloud, I don't have to leave my computer rendering for hours. I can just upload it online and let it do the work for me. 😄
Sketchup +Enscape + Crédit Poliigon + Skatter 3D + Laubwerk + Vray + Photoshop... All this becomes excessively expensive so expensive! All this is super beautiful, it makes you want, but everyone can not afford it ... then there is a way to "Crake" the big programs but how do you do it? Just evaluation versions? Is your job full time? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge! :)
You're right that this would be super expensive over time. And fortunately, since I make videos on RUclips, some of these companies contact me and provide me with their softwares, as well as sponsoring the videos sometimes, so I'm able to use the latest versions for free. I'm super grateful for that😄
Hey!! Can you help us with a video showing how we can apply fabric texture on complex 3D models like a sofa, and editing material in Enscape with a texture map on bump or reflexions...Just an ideea :)
very nice explination. There is a part in the video where you show reflections only on the floor. Why i see clouds in the reflection? that is very strange. It is like enscape is not really reflecting but making a fake reflection. You can never have clouds in a room inside can you?
Min I want to modify a material on a model from the Enscape asset library which i have brought into my model. I am finding difficulties in changing the materials on these models.
As far as I know .skm file (Sketchup material format) doesn't record any of the Enscape parameter but "keyword" which saved in XML document of each .skm files. So I wonder how Enscape read those rendering parameters simply from .skm file? Does Enscape create another material sub-file accordingly form .skm file? If it does, could you share the path? Thanks a lot!
@@ArchitectureInspirations I found the answer now. Enscape saved all rendering parameters in SKM XML files, including mapping path. Thanks for your videos anyway, these help a lot!
If you creat a video of each content namely function and how to use camera setting tools, how to use use the function render etc. for a period of 3-5 minutes is better for the beginner.
Enscape is not sitting in lap.. while rendering showing old grphics card .. but i am running lumion 8 with fine.. i even updated my g.card.. still issu exist !
Hi minh, I was trying the trial version of enscape, and they told me that my graphic driver was too old for enscape... LOL... I wonder if you can help me about the mininum requirement of the laptop for me to use enspace.... thanks in advance man...
Hi again, I'm wondering if I upgrade to this specification , can i use enspace properly? In Enscape 3.1, the material editor dialog will automatically pick up whatever material that you're already selected. But in Enscape version 3.2 and above, you'll have to reselect the material again after you open the editor even if you already sample it... This was super annoying...
Nope! You will rarely find free rendering softwares nowadays. To simply put it, enscape is a realtime rendering engine, it's faster and can animate. Vray is more for stills, takes a while to render, but overall it is more realistic😊
@@ArchitectureInspirations Ooh, now you mention i try to search enscape riview and the result is... Kinda amazing tough i think you use enscape more just for presentation since it can beused for VR right?
But still the diference is much more than this, with vray you can get more better result when you compare it betwen lumion or vray, vray still hold the beer. And i never use vray for render video tough but since you use vray, enscape and lumion which do you think get the better result
Yes of course there's still so many differences between the softwares. To be honest, I have been a Vray fan-boy, and still am. I think Vray gives me so much more customization and freedom for creativity. Enscape and Lumuion are just getting so good over time. I think if they are more realistic then that'd be awesome. As for Vray, they need to implement realtime features quick :)
@@ArchitectureInspirations I just want the corner of the table not to show too much rough lines, if I use the rounded plugin, it curves too deep. thank you for answering, good luck always

Yes it's possible. There's a standard and advanced tab. Just go to the advanced tab to enter RGB value or use a hex code😄

If you need only Google image textures. Create free maps using materialze software. Though I'm not an expert it helped me in my project.

It's in the settings window, on the capture tab. You can change the quality and resolution there
