My only issue with the Wolverines (and any third party controller really) is that, since it’s wired, it messes up my voice in parties on console, due to ground loop. Other than that though, they’re great controllers and I highly recommend them, especially if you’re on PC looking for a controller.
i want to buy Razer Wolverine Ultimate or Wolverine Tournament Edition , but some people say that stick tension is too low, its true? And even you set up deadzone in to 0 in games its stil have? and wich better?
Awesome video! I’ve enjoyed my Elite 2 for some time now and your thumb stick video was super informative too. I noticed that your small paddles for your V2 are actually on the opposite sides. I wanted to mention it because I’ve tried them both ways and there is definitely a huge difference. You may find that swapping their sides makes them even more comfortable to use. If you try it out let me know what you think!!
About the warranty, I think labeling it a "scam" might be a bit of an oversight on my part with the wording. I wouldn't say its a "scam" exactly, I think its really just Microsoft throwing up the middle finger to us elite owners, thats all lol. "You've owned this controller for a year, and it broke after a couple months? Yeah, well, you're 2 weeks past your warranties expiration date, so🖕🏽" Edit: Updated reliability issues at 6:13 1. A Button Failure 2. Stick Drift 3. Bumper Failure 4. Trigger Issues
I'm not trying to be rude or anything and I really appreciate your advice but I have had my Xbox elite series 1 controller for 2 years and right now it's still good. I used to get really angry at games and drop my controler with a fair bit of force. I also have dropped my controller like a lot. The only problems I have had with it are the bumpers snapping but I bought a replacement one and thats all good, my headphone jack that I just replace with an old Xbox controllers one and just recently a tiny bit of stick drift but only when I'm not touching it. I also mash my buttons when I play so I'm pretty rough with it and I'm actually good at the games I play.
@@sleepingemu6162 well, there's nothing rude about it lol. However, just because your experience is good, doesn't mean that's the case for everyone else. This is common issue i see all the time. I'm glad you had a great experience with your series 1 man, that doesn't take away from the fact that they're poorly made, and in dire need of improvement. Not just the elite controllers either, Xbox controllers in general are just god awful with reliability
Found this channel out of the blue when I was looking to buy this controller or not, so damn refreshing to see someone give honest reviews and having fun doing it. Keep it up.
Thanks!!!!! for an honest Review. The Elite is amazing but is not worth it for all the issues I've had. The buttons started to not work kind of like after 6 months (and I'm a regular - Casual - Wireless controller user), the same with the sticks, I've received like 3 replacements and all of them not worked correctly, seems like each time they sent me one was worst than the older. Now my guarantee has expired and I have a controller that is not useful anymore. Instead I still have the one it came with my xbox one(1st gen) and that one stills working since 2016 WTF. All the persons I know that have bought this controller have complains about it. Only youtubers(some) are saying this is great and that they never had problems, that it is a matter of luck if yours will have issues or not.
I think the first gen Elite controllers were built better, and I did had a sticky “A” button issue, but was easily fixed with a little silicone cone oil. I still have my first gen Elite working with no other issues. Thank TMH.
Bought the 3 year warranty from the Microsoft store (when they were a thing). First elite 2 had right bumper failure within a year. MS replaced it under that extended warranty. Now replacement has same issue five months in. Time to try the wolverine ultimate because I do need the added buttons on the bottom for Destiny 2 PvP.
Always value your insight, vCuda. I have had the Series 1, Series 2, and, thanks to you, have tried the Razer Ultimate as well. As you state in your reviews, each has their positives and negatives. Keep up the 💯 work!
My man... You've just earned 1 Sub... I love your "lighting", You grabbed a "pint glass" of well... and you owed homage to the General Lee... all in the mist of "kick'n dirt"... KEEP IT UP.
I've been looking at controller videos all day and I got to say you have the best videos that fit my persona, not too many RUclips people say fuck and all the crazy shit you do. In my opinion it makes the videos 1000 times funnier and better, keep up the good content
You saved me a lot of money and it's good to hear someone young talking about wired opposed to being wireless leaning towards wired and keyboard and mouse definitely first person shooters or 3rd most games period. I like the azeron for 360 movement
@@thanosbustedinyourmum stfu dumbass, I'm saying that the video looks allot better and he has put allot more effort into his videos than he did a month ago. Grow the fuck up and lemme give the man a compliment. Now get up and take a shower and stop being a disappointment to your family.
The analog of the elite 2 are very inaccurate, the spring weighed down by the base with the magnet does not have a linear stroke and has a slow return compared to the basic controllers, then the analog with adjustable voltage certainly has a design defect because the analog moves a couple of millimeters and the spring does not register the movement, I installed a normal thumbstick of the Microsoft base controller on my elite series 2 and I must say that the situation and improved, nice review You are the only one who tells the truth, greetings from Italy ..
I watch so many reviewers on RUclips and you are no cap one of the best bro i love to see people with talent like you keep doing what your doing and i promise I’ll come back to this channel one day and you will have 1m subs and a Lamborghini
Man thank you so much for this video I was deciding on going with the elite series 2 but I broke down and got the wolverine ultimate because of your other videos and I can say that I'm happy with it very pleased in fact so thank you
Amazing controller but I have one of the oddest bumper issues that I've ever experienced on any pro controllers I've owned. After 6 months it has a rattling in the rb but the bumper works fine 90% of the time and then looses all input then magically goes back to normal.
Whiles calling MS shit, remember they are providing you with a premium device. It's not for everyone. I bought 2 with warranty. And I barely use them. Because they are premium. I use my kick around controller for hard core sweat matches. But for competition with the fellaz I'll bring my elites. Their beautiful. Makes for great conversation while knowing you have the edge on the others. Great vid though. No drifting with that mouse for sure lol
I've went through three elite ones and three elite 2 and I've had my fusion pro for almost a year and not one single problem. I've had the razors too none of them compare to fusion and for the price.
casual here I can attest fps games kills all my controllers pro or regular but when I play any other game like rpgs or puzzle sandbox etc my controllers last for years. Its just something about fps that brings out the try hard in me. I dont think I can ever go back to fps games too much rage quits I'm happier putting in 900+ hours into animal crossing :)
First video im watching of yours. Does the fusion pro actually have paddles? Need to check it out. I know I've seen one of the fusions that dosen't. It looks kinda like its a little bit of a different shape or something different about it too. Haven't looked to closely yet though. I subbed man. I enjoyed the video.
I think what I really like about this controller is the entire package. - I could switch out the left thumbstick to the domed tip, which is nice for my left thumb that has a scar on its pad from a work injury, I've had problems with comfort on other controllers and it helped me figure out I should get domed caps for my dualshock - I can multipair amd switch connection profiles between my pc, ipad, and phone - It introduced me to all these advanced features I wasn't aware of before - the carrying case with the usb charging oass through is mega convenient It's like a god tier babies first high end controller. Hope it doesn't die I guess?
Love the enthusiasm man these are really informative I've been looking for someone who's as into controllers or more than I am I just bought the fusion pro to try out I have the wolverine ultimate rn and the latency on the fusion pro feels so good and the wolverine feels a tiny tiny bit lagy it's weird I wonder if it's just the controller or maybe some software thing
I'm glad you're enjoying the content! As for the wolverine, I personally believe its quite a bit faster than all of the controllers that I've tried. But with how inconsistent razer is with their software, and how buggy things get, i could be wrong lol
New sub here. Love your vibes. I thoroughly enjoy my elite series 2 controller despite the stick drift and the left stick not working at all. I recently just filed a replacement and I'm hoping to not have one sent back to me with the same issues. I absolutely adore the stick tensioning adjustment tool. It really helped improve my overall FPS gameplay.
I will never buy a elite controller again after my first one. My RB button broke on that thing. I ended up learning how to fix it myself since I spent so much money on it. Honestly your better off just buying a regular Xbox controller with a replacement plan. Thanks for your video. Your the reason I purchased my Razor Ultimate Edition controller from Amazon.
They need to offer parts to upgrade these expensive controllers, to get more life out of them. And continue to improve the design. As I have seen the bump buttons replaced, with the series one buttons, better durability. Ty good video's. As I use my controllers to play steam or PC games.
Own this controller. One, the paddles are too delicate and I’m always worried that I would break one, so I removed all of them. Second, the plus button in the protective case is extremely difficult to remove for use on the controller. Durability-wise, the Elite controllers are the Beats headphones of controllers. Long term build quality involving pretty much every button, analog knob, trigger and bumper concerns me. Things are prone to breaking on this controller and Microsoft doesn’t seem to care about this. I’m not willing to let this pass, because every controller made by Sony for PlayStation, has been excellent in terms of durability.
Owning an original elite...I think the elite is the best imo. The rear 4 paddle setups have completely changed how I play games. Not a pro or competitive gamer here but I'm pretty good at what I play.
I got it once, and I loved it, and it was amazing! But it didn't last 6 months, yet I use that thing at least 3 hours a day! I play overwatch on PC with mouse and keyboard players with it, and many other shooter games, and such!
Algorithm doing work bud, just found you and your video. Having said that, my v1 elite got stick drift terribly. V2 no issues so far. Dome tip on left stick actually feels more responsive.
Bahahaha awesome review man but the dome stick stops me bruising my left thumb joint and I use a power a round cap on the xbox one stick so it is wider and slightly taller works amazing on bfv 😅 also buy the controller through eb games in Australia and get the extended 2 year warrantly for $60 no problem now :)
vCuda I just have a one question tho if you can help I got the fusion pro the black wired one how do I make the paddles work like if I put them on will it just start to work or what idk and I want to know so I will be ready before it comes today technically thanks
@@matthewo8948 honestly, id look at some tutorials here on RUclips. Explaining it through comments would take a while lol, also, it'd be wise to look up a tutorial on how to update the firmware on pc. If possible
It’s a real shame these controllers have issues because if they didn’t they would be really amazing, when they add them to design lab I’m hoping they have the option to add electromagnetic sticks
I went from series 1 to 2 during summer this year, and I immediately had a problem with the d-pad being slightly rough textured, now though I don't notice it and I'm thankful for it, it feels a slight bit better to use and helps with any oils/sweat on me fingers. That's just my opinion and experience with it. Also, I've had zero problems with it outside of some weird stuff with how it works with the Xbox one that I've had since it came out, it's a problem with my Xbox being almost 10 years old
8:46 “The stock sticks are cool, the wide ones are cooler, the extended stick in my opinion is the most efficient, and the domed tip,.... no one gives a fuck about it.” Lmaooo
Already have one >.< *sweats nervously! I bought it 4 months ago for my PC but barely used it, recently been using it a lot though after grabbing "Control" video game for free on Epic store. It feels amazing in the hand very comfortable and Bluetooth works great, but started already noticing button A not registering occasionally. It's barrable at this point but if it gets worse then FUCK!
I love the elite series 2. I haven’t had any issues with it so far and I’ve had it for a month. The paddles are in the natural position and easy to use all 4 when playing cod. Feels good in my hands. Overall good in my opinion but I also maybe just got a lucky one lol
I went through 4 Elite Series 2 in 2020. EVERYONE SINGLE ONE HAD FAULTY RIGHT AND LEFT BUMPERS. I said screw it and went and got the Astro C40. Best gaming decision I ever made
Let's go deeper: warranty game, get a best buy warranty in store on any controller you buy, set a reminder 2 months before it runs out and take it back to BB tell them it's getting double press in the buttons, RB is wearing out, sticks are loose and drifting ask them if you can keep the paddles and spare sticks, Microsoft let me with my S1, then you re-up the warranty on the replacement, make sure you ask them to do this and to give you a receipt showing you didn't steal the replacement in case you need to use the MS warranty. Just in case y'all didn't know when you use a warranty, that is it, with MS a warranty is only for a new purchase controller, not for a replacement. With BB they can let you re-up the warranty for a fee on replacement BUT everybody knows S2 is a trash fire and MS wont even let you buy an extended warranty from them anymore so ask BB explicitly ahead of time what sort of warranty you can buy for an S2 and if you can re-up the warranty on replacement, get that shit in writing either by asking their online support and screenshotting it or ask them to write the re-up/extension fee on your receipt when you check out if you have to. The game: Lie. Tell them that shit is fucking up even if it isn't and time it just before the warranty expires. We are trying to make the value match the cost that means you need to get at least 3 years of functional controller to bring this thing to the average annual cost of controllers which is probably that $80-120 range. Order of warranty operations, PREVISO: TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING, RECEIPTS, SERIAL NUMBERS CHATS WITH MS AND SUPPORT AND REGISTER YOUR PRODUCTS. Double check with the help desk counter nerd at your BB that this listed below wont void the BB warranty (ON THE PHONE, A DAY BEFORE, MAYBE DOUBLE CHECK WITH AN ONLINE AFFILIATE FOR SCREENSHOTS) when buying the controller get a 2-3 year comprehensive no questions asked warranty, $20-40, re-upping it for a whole new warranty period or a year should cost a smaller re-up fee, $8-25, not a full warranty cost. If you get a defective controller out of the box you have between 10 and 90 days depending what it says on your receipt to march right back and do a refund; repeat this step until you don't get a defective controller out of the box, you are not fulfilling the warranty, you are getting both the controller and warranty refunded, then buying a new controller and warranty with your refund, hopefully that doesn't happen to you though. If you have a failure in the controller use the free 1 year MS warranty first, BB isn't about checking serial numbers most of the time but you should be asking them what their current policy is. MS will charge you shipping of about $8 and compare serial numbers on the box, warranty, and controller, with the pics you sent them of all 3. if $8-10 is what it costs to re-up your BB warranty just go to BB because they will pass it to you off the shelf on the day of, if they have stock, always ask for a receipt from BB for your new controller and warranty extension. MS will almost certainly let you keep everything but the electronics, they might even let you keep the charger whereas BB will want it back in the OG packaging, save the OG packaging and keep a good filing system for all the pictures of serial numbers on the packaging and the controllers. you need the pictures to do a MS return, they don't fix that bitch, they take the board out send it for a refurbish or recycle and throw away all the moving parts and the shell the second they get your elite and check you handled the return properly they approve sending you a new in box replacement or what may technically be a refurbed board in an all new housing with all new moving parts. Recommendations: Do an MS return at least once so long as it doesn't void the BB warranty so you can have duplicate parts, the faux knurling on the sticks will wear down in about 18-20 months, I recommend doing this as the first return to get duplicate paddles that you can customize, Customize your metal parts, you can sand the finish off the d-pads and paddles and make them into brushed steel very easily which has better grip, also static shock, if you play with an ionizer in your room or a fan directly on your controller. I have taken a coping saw to my S1 paddles to cut them into shapes I prefer allowing 1 finger to use both buttons simultaneously with a small ergonomic movement at the final knuckle. files.catbox.moe/z5gmb2.png that's an old guide I made for ingrates on reddit on where to cut with a coping saw, small cheap ass hand saw, I used regular sandpaper to smooth the cuts. Referring to the guide my current config puts a #3 over a #2 on the left(the cut edge on top like shown in the diagram) and sometimes I will roll that way on the right or just use a #3 or a #4 on the right. Remember parts are mirrored so you can only have so many shapes, I would just make the stub(#2) and seax(#3) shapes after experimenting, but if you want to try the hatchet(#4) you can convert it to a stub later, but there is no turning an axe(#1) into a seax(#3) or vice versa. If you don't already own a coping saw or similar tool scuff's metal paddles for the S2 look good and capable of doing about the same job as my custom set-up for $20(price of a coping saw) If you already own an elite S2, when you use the warranty pay attention to the process, you might be able to pull a switcheroo with walmart so you have a new receipt on file to use the warranty again. Final notes: Best buy will eventually run out of stock for good, so hopefully you can save an MS warranty for some point after BB has no stock to replace your controller with, they might give you an S3 whenever that happens or store credit or MS might but if you time things cautiously you should be able to eek out 2-3 years from today even if MS announces an S3 at E3, which I'm hoping for but not betting on.
I had my Xbox Elite v1 from 04/2017 to 12/2020. I had abused it, both in time used and the way I treated it (throwing on walls, desk and squeezing it with my hands from frustration). However, it lasted me that long with a couple of minor issue, which I managed to fix myself. At that point I was oblivious to the faulty controllers that were coming out of certain Elite v1 batches. If I knew, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I wouldn't wanna test my luck. As the Elite collapsed on me, I bought a stock (not elite) Xbox series controller. It cannot stay connected consecutively to my Xbox One for more than 1 minute on average, while wireless. Once, it was connecting and disconnecting for 30 seconds straight, rendering me unable to play the game, or even leave, so that I wouldn't burden my team. So, I am using it as a wired controller now. I'm afraid to send it back, because who knows when will I get it back. I thought of buying the Razer Wolverine TE, but as I play a couple of hours each other day, it didn't make sense to spend such a price for a peripheral. So, here I am.
You could go for something like the fusion pro. Sure its risky, and the flaw with the paddles is bound to be an issue, but for $80 you're essentially getting an elite controller
I haven't had the elite series 2 very long but the drift is only on minimum deadzone for fortnite I use 8 left 10 right and get 0 drift now for both. The main thing wrong with this controller design wise though are the paddles. They are super uncomfortable to press because you have to stretch your fingers upward to reach them instead of naturally resting on them. I tried putting the series 1 paddles on the elite 2 but the actuators which are the little buttons that the paddles press to register are more indented on the v2 compared to v1. This leads to the elite 1 paddles feeling very mushy especially on the right side of my controller. I'm getting the White Elite which I refer to as the 1.5 because I need a controller with good paddles. I had like 4 fusions with issues and took forever to replace with the warranty which is the reason I switch to elite controllers in the first place. The fusion paddles are very shitty because of metal constantly being pressed against plastic. Then the triggers are just as shit and don't even register at the exact same point 🤦♂️. So don't buy a fusion if you want to play paddles or care about triggers. The fusion is really good for right hand claw players though. I'm just hoping the elite 1.5 works out 🙏
I've had the fusion, the white series 1, and 2 series 2s. I can definitively say that there isn't a single reliable controller with the elite paddle design. I really didn't wanna believe that either, but its true. Every controller with the offset metal paddles is unreliable, and isn't meant for extended tryhard use lol. Super unfortunate
Claw isnt really something I can give an opinion on tbh. But I'd give the series 1 a go if you can find a white one brand new. If that fails, or you cant find one, it might be a better Idea to go with a stock controller and just play claw. Although, stock controllers aren't really reliable either. So, its really just up to you man. Whichever direction you decide to go, its always going to be extremely uncertain with these things
@@vCuda Appreciate the help I already found a white elite close to perfectly brand new. I have 30 days to return it. If it works out I'm keeping it and returning the v2 if it doesn't work out returning both switching back to powerA but I'm buying from best buy this time with 2 year warranty because they replace really quick.
I now getting my 3rd controller :( first one had problem with RB double pressing when only clicking once, my second the trigger lock button broke off and the paddle top right not working as good. Now I have to hope the 3rd will last longer then a month. Ps they also have stick drift that you can’t fix with the controller software, only in game or with steam you can change deathzone.
I wouldnt say I was a casual but I deffo have a day job. I had a power A fusion with back buttons x2. I had an elite1 and elite series2. Standard controller. And a scuff elite and scuff. And i will never buy a scuff again. Im reluctant to buy Power A as it felt cheap and didnt last 2months. Stick drifts. All these controllers I had after my elite1 failed due to my baby dropping it but it was deffo my fav. I prefferrd it more than the elite2 as the back paddles were longer making it more comfortable for me and my play style and the games i played. Im actually gonna get an elite 2 again as my last 1 broke due to rage from my missus. Gears of war and pvp destiny made it just tops really I havnt enjoyed gaming on a standard controller. Klarna gonna help me on this purchase.👍🏿
Great video. The controller feels great to use and has awesome features but thats where the fun ends. I just returned my 4th Elite Version 2. The first one ended up with stick drift after a few months, the second one lasted about a year before getting stick drift (first one to last that long, still shit durability), third and fourth ones both had friction on the right analog sticks right out of the box. Ive been using Best Buy warranties but they are 60 bucks for a reason. I couldnt even order another one as they are out of stock at Best Buy. Im assuming it has something to do with the worsening durability, lawsuits on the sticks. They fixed the rubber grip and the bumper issues from version 1 but the sticks are still shit. Even thier standard controller has sticks that last longer before going out of allignment. Theres no excuse for a controller like this to last under 3 years and even that is weak (Mine average 3-6 months). I went through several version 1 controllers too for the rubber and bumper issues mostly. Microsoft doesnt even provide replacement analog attachments if you wear them down or lose them, so it seems they really are just trying to cash in and fuck over the customer on these controllers.
my guy idk what you do to your controllers but i play warzone daily and have a 2.8 KD my guy and have had my controller since the beginning of covid and its still working great 🤷🏽♂️ js
@@JoseCastillo-uw3pn It varies for me. My last Elite 2 lasted about 12 months. The Xbox is not the main console I game on as its spread out. I would say over 500 hours on the controller but still pretty quick for it to break. My other elites were lasting 3-6 month average. That includes the first models too. It seems like they fixed the bumpers and rubber grips with the Elite 2's but I still end up getting stick drift no matter what.
this man knows his shit to a T ive bought no lie 4 of these in a year and a half (im a warzone sweat) i didnt know they had warranties so i got 3 im about to hit them up about but i have had 1's trigger stops break 1 the bumpers are unresponsive and the last one the left stick stopped responding it will eventually but when i push up i wanna move not wait to move and they all had stick drift but i use foam control freak stoppers so that fixed the drift. this dude knows what he's talking about and because of him im about to get 3 of my controllers replaced so like subscribe click the bell because he's the GOAT

And here I am buying a used controller off of Amazon warehouse, registered the serial number and got absolutely surprised to see that it has warranty until end of April 2024! Don't know how this is possible but when it comes to the Controller alone I can definitely say for me that it is by far the best controller I've ever used. All the software and hardware adjustments I can make are stupidly insane and I apparently use all of them. Especially the shift mode for different trigger sensitivities is a masterpiece.
I’m a owner of this controller and issues I’ve had are bumper button failure a button failure drift and DIRT SO MUCH FREAKING DIRT I play Warframe 3rd person shooter originally made for pc meaning many separate button presses so the whole controller sorta gives up at the same time but these issues start earlier and are more of an issue my warranty ended a long time ago so I’m just using my og Xbox one controller beat up beyond any controller should take yet actually fuckin works in the end I agree you should either stick with the og or buy a different controller
Hi colleague ;) I don't remember if I asked you before, have you tried the Thrustmaster Eswap X pro? I'm really loving him so much, I'd be curious to hear what you think ;)
Hey man! I haven't bought it yet, but I do plan on getting it later this year. I personally wanna shoot for the Astro C40 first. It was here before the thrustmaster, and I think a comparison video would be perfect!
@@vCuda Great! Hope to see your review soon! Ps I really like Astro C40, for Playstation 4 it's the only controller I've kept!
Getting an elite controller is a coin toss, on one hand you can get a controller that last for years, on the other hand you can get a broken controller in days, months, or out of the box. I guess I got lucky with my series 1, but I keep hearing so many issues I hope they fix them in the series 3 well... maybe 🤔.
Elite controllers longevity seem to be reliant on usage. Light usage, or someone whos gentle on their controller is likely to have an elite that last closer to a year, or even longer. But fast paced shooter games, or really any intense game that require fast abrasive inputs, wear these things down quickly. Sometimes there's a complete fluke though, I've seen hardcore players use elite series 1 controllers everyday for years with little to no issue. However most peoples luck isn't that cracked lol
I sent mine to the extended warranty at 8 months, now 6 months later the “new one” is defective again, called Microsoft and told me i should of called sooner cause I had 90 days warranty since I received the replacement ( so if could know the freaking thing would have LS and RB issues… again!) so now they tell me the 3 options, 1. Pay $110 bucks for another replacement, 2. Get it fixed by a third party (loosing the “special price” for a replacement cause it would be seal broken) and number 3. Buy a new one, omg
I've tried the Fusion Pro and the Wolverine.....Don't like either of them !! But I do like the Elite Series 2, had it for a while now, I'm not a casual player (I was gaming before you were born) I use the controller a lot and I've never had a problem with it.....I did with the Series 1 but not the 2nd one, this one's great imo !! Everything that you said was bad.....Wasn't to me.....So it basically goes back to the same old thing.....Each to their own !! If we all liked the same shit then the world would be a very boring place.....When it comes to controllers, they're a very personal thing, what works for you might not for someone else and vice-versa, the only thing you should do is try them for yourself and make-up your own mind.....Find out which one works and feels best for YOU.....No-one can tell you what's good for you, except YOU !!
Casual players ain’t the only ones buying elite I bought elite cause it’s wired and wireless wireless when the dog, wife and son are around last thing I need is ppl tripping over the wire and dropping my stuff Or disconnecting it when playing and wired when no one is around I’ve had my elite for about 1yr and a half and no issues (knock on wood)
My only issue with the Wolverines (and any third party controller really) is that, since it’s wired, it messes up my voice in parties on console, due to ground loop. Other than that though, they’re great controllers and I highly recommend them, especially if you’re on PC looking for a controller.

@@vCuda Thanks for the response and I 100% agree with you.
My strat was to buy 2 and send one back every 3 months and keep rotation. Today they’re both out.....
Which one is better elite2 or wolverine te?
Brooo, I love your energy lol found your page looking up kontrol freaks, didn’t know I’d find a gem 💎
So glad I could return it!! Honestly. Major issue was how slick it felt in my hand. No I don't have sweaty hands. But the grips are trash.
I just bought this yesterday and am going to return and just replace my Wolverine controller.
In reference to the grips....it is way overly grippy. Too much grip.
Thank you so much man! And I'm glad you enjoy the controllers
Fr bro i bought the razer and fusion pro. Power A has the best support hands down. They sent me a brand new one for problems with the cable very happy
Love your honesty and how your never biased
Best Buy offers a great warranty, 2 years for $60. I get to exchange controllers, no questions asked
Just got mine a week ago and got the best buy warranty with it, its great but the right joystick is already off center … not drifting but annoying

Why is it 60 bucks? I thought it was only like 30

Amazing controller but I have one of the oddest bumper issues that I've ever experienced on any pro controllers I've owned. After 6 months it has a rattling in the rb but the bumper works fine 90% of the time and then looses all input then magically goes back to normal.
God Tier review. Gotta say when you said "if you want to continue eating Microsoft's shit" I nearly died...

5:44 You just took me back to high school......and I appreciate that.
casual here I can attest fps games kills all my controllers pro or regular but when I play any other game like rpgs or puzzle sandbox etc my controllers last for years.
Thanks man! Yes the fusion does have paddles, but it has brother and sister controllers. They aren't fusions, but they look very similar
Dude found your channel by chance and your review style is incredible.Great work!
Thank you man, I appreciate it!
I think what I really like about this controller is the entire package.
- I could switch out the left thumbstick to the domed tip, which is nice for my left thumb that has a scar on its pad from a work injury, I've had problems with comfort on other controllers and it helped me figure out I should get domed caps for my dualshock
- I can multipair amd switch connection profiles between my pc, ipad, and phone
- It introduced me to all these advanced features I wasn't aware of before
- the carrying case with the usb charging oass through is mega convenient
It's like a god tier babies first high end controller. Hope it doesn't die I guess?
I’ve had close to 15 replacements since release. Double tapping bumpers usually. They are awesome and straight trash.

Love this mans vibe you funny😂
Bro just found this gem of a channel 😂🔥🔥
Own this controller. One, the paddles are too delicate and I’m always worried that I would break one, so I removed all of them. Second, the plus button in the protective case is extremely difficult to remove for use on the controller. Durability-wise, the Elite controllers are the Beats headphones of controllers. Long term build quality involving pretty much every button, analog knob, trigger and bumper concerns me. Things are prone to breaking on this controller and Microsoft doesn’t seem to care about this. I’m not willing to let this pass, because every controller made by Sony for PlayStation, has been excellent in terms of durability.
I am watching every one of your videos. this is actually quality. funny, accurate, just generally entertaining. you’ve copped my sub hard as fuck.
Thanks man!
Owning an original elite...I think the elite is the best imo. The rear 4 paddle setups have completely changed how I play games. Not a pro or competitive gamer here but I'm pretty good at what I play.
Had problems with the bumpers, stick drift and the USB port breaking
I got it once, and I loved it, and it was amazing!
But it didn't last 6 months, yet I use that thing at least 3 hours a day!

Also, I've had zero problems with it outside of some weird stuff with how it works with the Xbox one that I've had since it came out, it's a problem with my Xbox being almost 10 years old
At first I didn't use the paddles until the left bumper stopped working

Recommendations:
Do an MS return at least once so long as it doesn't void the BB warranty so you can have duplicate parts, the faux knurling on the sticks will wear down in about 18-20 months, I recommend doing this as the first return to get duplicate paddles that you can customize,
Customize your metal parts, you can sand the finish off the d-pads and paddles and make them into brushed steel very easily which has better grip, also static shock, if you play with an ionizer in your room or a fan directly on your controller. If you don't already own a coping saw or similar tool scuff's metal paddles for the S2 look good and capable of doing about the same job as my custom set-up for $20(price of a coping saw)
If you already own an elite S2, when you use the warranty pay attention to the process, you might be able to pull a switcheroo with walmart so you have a new receipt on file to use the warranty again.
Great vid, my guy; keep it up!
P.S: not to be picky but its pronounced like ninja but with a g and a 4 replacing the A. Put simply said like Ginger.
My mistake my man, it'll be corrected in my next video! I'm sorry, I missed this comment when it was first posted
@@vCuda Not a problem, thanks for responding.
@@vCuda So what I should do buy another fusion pro and play 2 left paddles and right hand claw?
@@AyKrax I wish you nothing but the best of luck my man! Truly

You should talk about the games you play and how each controller works
I’ve gone through 4 giving up know, going to the razor now through your recommendation
I bought a used one from Amazon and it’s been really good for a year
So, you bought a used one 4 or 5 months after its release?
I had made that comparison but with Thrustmaster for PS4;) ruclips.net/video/FqQ69pcPptw/видео.html This for Xbox is an evolution that fills the shortcomings of the first and refines some other things.
Your one of the only RUclipsrs who has said this controller is not the best.
I feel like lots of pro controllers are hit and miss.
If we all liked the same shit then the world would be a very boring place.....When it comes to controllers, they're a very personal thing, what works for you might not for someone else and vice-versa, the only thing you should do is try them for yourself and make-up your own mind.....Find out which one works and feels best for YOU.....No-one can tell you what's good for you, except YOU !!
i've been through a scuf controller and 2 elites now ima going to give battle beaver a try
My Right Bumper started reading double presses a month and a week into owning it.
Xbox controller bumpers are notoriously unreliable on pretty much all modern models. Its severely disappointing
