- Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we check out the latest weekly challenge and it's a very creative one! This is actually my favorite weekly challenge of ALL of them. In this challenge the ghost will be super inactive and we have to use the cursed possessions to make it do stuff. ENJOY!

I thought the directions were so damn weird. In that some of the ghosts gave me full evidence right away without the objects at all
The challenge was simply that the ghost's chance to event/interact were turned down way low. I thought it was incredibly easy, cause my custom difficulty I use has the same settings. (It's not hard at all)
I had a similar situation... in fact compared to my usual custom set, there was waaaay more interactions/events and quite clear evidence than I think was intended...
@@vaultraider1 maybe the developers put up the challenge and then write a fatigued description after? 🤣🤣🤷♂️
9:30 I remember CJ saying the Tower card increases the rate of interactions of the ghost but still: kinda sucks
Though I was dreading going to the asylum, it was surprisingly easy. Ask the board where the ghost is, immediately eat a sanity pill, and then go investigate.
That’s how I did it as well, made it super easy.
I actually took advantage of the sanity drain and used the paramike to listen a couple hunts from a distance. I got one ghost immediately like that (Revenant). Others I didn't (normal speed, no distinguishing audio features), so then I ate some sanity and went to do a full investigation.

When I did this, on one of them, I was able to use the cameras to find orbs in the courtyard.
Then I noticed that the "ghost blow out a firelight" objective was completed on its own. Then it turned out to be an Onryo.
Now I'm wondering if an Onryo could use the candles in the chapel to start its own Onryo hunt.
Yes, it is possible and can cause a hunt at the very start
And someone could just go and die to the ghost thinking that it is a demon for an achievement
Just last night I was doing this challenge with some friends and I died VERY early, the average sanity was like 85% after I died so I told my friends it's most likely either a Demon, or Mimic.
They got evidence that ruled out Demon and Mimic so I had an epiphany that it must be an Onryo and it must've blew out three candles in the chapel (the ghost room was in the chapel). They swore they saw dots and thought it was a Yurei, I said just keep trying the spirit box to confirm my suspicion but they went with Yurei and failed the challenge lol

Your honestly one of the only content creators that play phasmo your probably a big reason why the game is alive I unfortunately can not play it due to being console exclusive but I’ve learned sm from your video and I wanted to thank you hopefully they release on console by the end of 2024
Sunny Meadows is the best place for the Ouija Board since there's a map of the place right outside the chapel.
That looping around the tree was nuts, almost got away

I did this yesterday in about 45 minutes with no fails and all I did was ask where the ghost was, the rest was just a normal game of Professional, I even had ghosts with DOTS and Writing! Wow, seeing your back to back books I think they messed it up and set the interactions to max not minimum.

hey insym, i was just wondering if you were ever going to do the language challenge again.
i’d suggest dutch personally because i, as a linguist love hearing natives speak their own language fluently. and i speak dutch so i think it’d be really cool and educational.

There's an asylum map on the wall in the hallway by the church that tells you what each room is. Makes the Oujia Board far more useful in this challenge as it tells you EXACTLY what room.
One up with the summoning circle is that if you put salt in the middle and a crucifix then use it it won’t hint but get the salt photos (one of my friends showed me this)
I'm not a skilled phasmo player at all. But a friend and I managed to get the weekly done in our first 3 games. We mostly stayed in lit rooms and would just throw a bunch of stuff into the ghosts room. Sometimes using the mirror to find the room.
Honestly i would love to just see this challenge done casually at the other maps as well

I had so much fun with this one
In my runs the ghost was overly active. Not much events, but it was throwing stuff in the room all the time. It was easy to locate the ghost every time without cursed items.
I got a twinteraction but it was a jinn?!? CJ?!?!?
Any ghost can interact twice in close succession looking like twins. Twins just do it more often. It's soft evidence. Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three or more times, ok that starts to be something you can believe in. More often it happens, more reliable it is.

I think the devs forgor to set low activity for this one. On my first run I didn't even have to use any of the cursed items lmao.
Didn't CJ explain why the tower does not work some time ago? Because the ghost at time of pulling the card does not have an item vlose to interact with? Its been some time ago though, so might misremember.
i did this challenge with my friend and kept dying to the hanged man 💀
I didn't end up having to force the ghost to give me any evidence, it just did.

Please pass along to CJ Phasmophobia needs- 1. Tape Recorder for EVP's, 2. Thermal Camera to catch images, 3. REMPOD to catch proximity alerts. There are many other items that should be implemented to make the game even better such as an SLS Camera to map a ghosts movements. Another cool map would be a "Haunted Graveyard". TY, btw good vid! PS Of course adding these pieces of equipment would also include new ghosts :)
