Some additional information (thanks for reminding me of these in the comments!): - Asking something on the ouija board gives an interaction, thus it can also give EMF 5! A good strategy to use this is asking a bunch of low sanity drain questions far from the ghost room to test for EMF 5 safely. - BE VERY CAREFUL while lighting the summoning circle, since it costs 16% sanity to light each candle this means that by the time you're lighting the final candle the ghost might have already started a normal hunt. If you continue lighting the final candle it will teleport the ghost (that is already hunting) to the summoning circle which will probably get you killed. So make sure to listen or check if the ghost has already started a hunt before lighting the final candle. - For the Summoning Circle: if 4 candles are lit and you light the final candle BUT you don't have enough sanity for it this will result in a very dangerous situation: the ghost will teleport to the summoning circle and instantly start the hunt there (skipping the ghost event). This means the ghost will not be visible because it's in the grace period before the hunt. So if you don't see the ghost at all after lighting the final candle RUN AWAY IMMEDIATELY as the hunt has already started. - For the Tarot Cards: CJ recently told us that the tower card also increases activity for a few seconds. But as I say in the video, the tower card is extremely bugged at the moment so it rarely does anything. But in theory it should be good.
One question about the ouija board, if you are against twins and ask the "how many people are in this room" could it answer 3 (in singleplayer i mean, or 2 above the number of players in the room in multi) and snitch out his decoy?
what you said about triggering a cursed hunt is partially incorrect only the _first_ hunt will be an actual cursed hunt (with a 1 second grace period), the rest just have the increased duration (holy fuck i edited this way too many times) ps: hide and seek on the ouija board costs 0% sanity (used to be 25% before 0.7.0) and wishing for activity lasts 2 minutes
Extremely rare, but if you had Ghost Orbs and wishing for Knowledge with the Monkey Paw rules out Ghost Orbs, then you know for certain that the ghost is The Mimic.

If the Monkey Paw rules out Ghost Orbs but you saw Ghost Orbs, it's 100% a Mimic.
I love asking the flavor questions on the board. Particularly the questions: "Where did you die?" "Why are you here?" The question asking where they died gives a random room in the house. Makes for a funny version of Ghost CLUE! The ghost DROWNED in the BLEASEDALE ATTIC and has remained TRAPPED ever since!

I don't generally ask that question all that often, mainly at the end of a mission before I leave, so the sanity doesn't matter that much at that point, so I never noticed that. That is an odd question for it to answer with the bone location. I guess it makes some sense, but still, I never thought of the bone being a tie to the ghost's body and death. Bone Lore?
I just realized, The Mimic is the only ghost that can become YOUNGER during a contract. If it mimics an older Thaye, its age should go back down to normal afterwards, and if it mimics a younger Thaye, then its age will be lower when mimicking it. So getting a YOUNGER age on the Ouija Board when asking for age the second time is hard evidence for The Mimic.
True, but you'll only have a minute or so to ask the question before it transforms into something else, and you don't even know if it's currently a thaye so it'll probably never happen. But if it actually happened it would probably be one of the most insane games of all time
Two things you missed for the Summoning Circle: 1 - Lighting all candles during a hunt will cause the ghost to teleport to the Summoning Circle without getting stunned and continue hunting; 2 - If 4 candles are lit, you are guaranteed to be able to light the last candle, but lighting it without enough sanity will cause the ghost to hunt instantly without getting stunned (Granted, for that second one, people might have guessed since you said that's what happens when you use that trick to light the last 2 candles without enough sanity.).

For the Ouija Board, even if the board is outside the map, if the planchette is still on the board when you walk away from it, it'll break and trigger a cursed hunt for the players still inside the map. I had a "teammate" who would always do this...
One thing that's nice to remember about the Ouija Board is that any question you ask that could be used to find the ghost's location (Other than outright asking "Where are you?") will cost 20%. So, "How many people are in this room?", "Are you close?", "Are you here?" will all cost 20%.

I think the “Am I Insane” question should be ghost specific. For example, it would say yes if you are in the ghost’s hunting range, and no if you are above it. And also take away maybe because it’s useless
It’d be a bit funny if the hide and seek question didn’t trigger a fatal hunt. Like imagine you do hide and seek but if the ghost finds your location they whisper “found you” and the hunt ended @Insym
I think it's kinda weird that Death initiates a hunt while The Tower triggers an interaction, I feel like that should be the other way around, or even have The Tower be the instant death card instead of The Hanged Man, considering that Death generally symbolizes change (which could be interpreted as a ghost changing an item or the environment by moving something, writing in the book, etc.), while The Tower usually means disaster (instantly dying would qualify). I guess either the devs don't know much about Tarot, or they figured most players wouldn't and might get confused as to why the Death card doesn't do something to directly put your life in danger.
As someone who does not know much about Tarot, yes I would be very confused. I was confused for the longest time by the tower card though, I never really watched a vid that explained what the cards do, and it took me so long to figure out that tower gives you an interaction, I would not associate that with the tower at all
Yeah, but let's be honest here. If you see the word DEATH. If you know nothing about Tarot cards (which is not-unlikely), you assume something bad is about to happen to you. And, similarly, if you see the word TOWER, and get insta-gibbed, you're not always gonna put two and two together that the TOWER did that.
@@josh___something Yeah when I first grabbed the Tarot cards I pulled 2 cards. The first was "The Devil" and I had no idea what that did. The Second was "Death" and I immediately understood what was about to happen. If I pulled "The Tower" and died I would be confused as hell. Also I died Immediately because "The Devil" card teleports it to you and I immediately pulled "Death" so that makes sense.

Damn, like, this may be the one game that I genuinely believe gets worse the *more* you play it, it seems to just take the mystery and horror elements out of it and you're left with just ghost GeoGuessr, like, high tier phas is just, "oh, he breathed? The mystery element disappears but you find other ways to have fun - for example now you can make your friends to play with you and fuck around and prank them 🤣
It's not that easy, and there is a lot of satisfaction from being able to do that. If the game is really that bad at high knowledge levels, why do people rack up thousands of games in it?
I honestly think a better result for the "I wish for knowledge" would be that it GIVES you a correct evidence in the journal, but also hides another (like Nightmare/Insanity mode) And for "I wish for sanity", I think a better way for it to work is that it increases everyone's sanity by a certain amount, but as a result of the wish sanity medication doesn't work anymore (in addition to the increased drain rate)
One the best things of the music box is that you can use it and drop and go outside, you have enought time to get out of the house(if you are in front of the door). I did it like 4 times while my friends were in the house. I got some iconic moments. Like, "Oh the ghost sing" and 2 seconds after he died, "WTF, the ghost just hunt with the crucifixe(tier 1 and 2), did you placed it correctly?". For the investigation, the music box is kinda bad, but to troll, is one of the best itens.
Amazing guide for all the cursed posetions! Only think you missed is that you can get emf from the oujia board and sometimes get emf5 from it if the ghost has that evidence, other than that super detailed guide I watched it all and learned a ton! Thank you insym❤❤❤
Yeah for sure! I assumed that it was clear that all interactions give EMF (so maybe EMF 5) so voodoo doll interactions, tarot card interactions and ouija board interactions etc. can all give that evidence!

A good way to remember the mirror's sanity cost without having to think of "whichever is greater" is to think of it as having two costs: 1. Each use drains 20%, and 2. After 2.67 seconds, sanity will continue to drain at a rate of 7.5% per second.

@@sabotagethefool In this video right here, the one we are commenting on, Insym explained that it's a bug. The Devs meant for most ghosts to have a 1/3 chance to be ghost models and for the Shade to have a 2/3 chance, but due to an error in the coding, Shade ended up being the only ghost that can show a shadow model when summoned.
@@sharingheart13 I did not hear that somehow xD Got a time stamp? It being more likely for shade is a crap idea, since you only can do it once per investigation the odds don’t matter, guess we don’t need another rock solid evidence ghost either tho lol.
Additional tips for the summoning circle: - I highly recommend to take the summoning circle photo before you use the summoning circle, and I would try to avoid using the salt directly in the center of the circle as well. It is very easy to unknowingly get a full body, dead center, ghost photo that you end up finding out was actually an off center, good distance away, summoning circle photo because the game prioritized the summoning circle above the ghost. Same thing with the disturbed salt. - What you can do is get right up in the ghosts face to try and avoid that possibility, by cutting anything on the ground out of the photo, but then you can run into the child model which can complicate things unless you crouch and look up. - And as for the salt, I like to set them all down with one of two goals in mind: place the pile near the circle in an area the ghost is likely go during its hunt (Bottom of the stairs in Tanglewood), or next to the circle in an area where the ghost will walk to you at the beginning of the hunt (Stand at the bottom of the stairs in Willow, and the ghost will walk though the salt to get to you at the beginning of the hunt [Just leaving it there would likely work, but you get the concept]).
With the ouija board sanity questions, the wiki does actually tell you what each sanity % range the answer means. Sanity questions also drain 5% per question asked. If you ask "What is my sanity?" you'll get "Healthy" (over 80%), "Good (60-80%), "Average" (40-60%), "Bad" (20-40%), or "Awful" (less than 20%). This one doesn't have a text option, but if you're using voice, it's probably the most useful variation. "How crazy am I?" and "How insane am I?" will give "Not very" (over 50%), "Very" (25-50%), or "Insane" (less than 25%). "Am I insane?" will give "No" (over 90%), "Maybe" (20-90%), or "Yes" (under 20%). I've been working on making a written guide for myself and my friends, so I've been referencing the wiki and your videos quite a lot over the past couple weeks. These guides definitely help make the process much easier! Edit: Apparently I didn't watch quite far enough before commenting. Sorry about that!
A cool thing about Tarot Cards, if they want to add a new one, or to replace the Hermit or something, is put a 'Wisdom' card in. Picture could be a bunch of books or a college hat or something like that. What that one would do is cross off a ghost from your book, kind of like the monkey paw does. Even if you had 10 of those in the deck, it could only cross out 10 ghosts, out of 24. That's not bad. Obviously it weakens if they add new ghosts, but it's still useful. It *could* help figure out a hard combination when you're missing evidences. Of course, the 'cost' or 'risk' is to still pull a hangman... but I feel having something like that could break the monotony of getting a deck like 'tower, tower, hermit, fool, tower, wheel of fortune, tower, devil, tower, hermit'. They should do a suggestion contest for a new tarot card every halloween, or every anniversary of the creation of Phasmo (though we just passed it). Not only ideas, but art as well (gives CJ a break!).

I think there wouldn't be any reason to add any more cards, but I feel like adding the ghost type specific possession interactions mentioned in other comments could be cool, like the "How many in this room" being x+2 for the Twins, the Music Box maybe being an interaction with the Banshee and perhaps the Summoning Circle having something with the Demon(and Oni perhaps).
I once was lighting the summoning circle and it started a hunt far away. I pulled out my camera and took a pic, but started hearing footsteps and I just turned and RAN. First time a ghost has started hunting while doing the summoning circle. Luckily I had a smudge so I escaped but holy shit it sped up my heartrate 2x.
I learned a few things from the cursed objects, like some of the effects of the monkey paw I didn't know. The amount of sanity per summoning circle candle, or the mirror thing where if you only hold it for a second or however long you can it has a huge reduction in sanity. Also really like some of the monkey paws abilities that I didn't know about them. Thanks for all the information! It was a fun watch
I wish the Tarot cards were a full set of Tarot cards. here is an idea for the missing arcanas -Magician: Changes the ghost room. -The empress: 1%. Burns the current deck. Spawns a new deck. Adds one "Hanged man", removes all "High priestess". Removes all empress. -The emperor: Changes one of the remaining cards to high priestess or hanged man. -The hierophant: 2% Triggers a cursed hunt, destroys the decks, spawns another cursed item except tarot cards. -Lovers: The ghost will have infinite detection radius for your equipment and voice. -The chariot: 2% Gives you 25% movement speed for 3 minutes. -Strength: Rare. Turns on the breaker and makes the ghost unable to turn it off for 3 minutes. -Temperance: Turns off the breaker. If the breaker is is off, breaks the breaker. -The star: Rare. Decreases sanity by 20% Increases the sanity pill sanity restoration effect by 15%. -Judgement: 1% Teleports everyone to the truck and ends the game. Hope your current guess is correct :) -The world: Changes the weather randomly.

I would love to see a single video with all the cursed possesions locations, since most of the videos are separated videos of a specific map, and also most of them don't have Monkey Paw added in them, so i would appreciate if you do that great video insym, keep the good work!
I play on edgefield 90% of the time so I only know like 4 different cursed items locations from the other maps total, which just makes me go back to edgefield :(
You should also make an appendix to the monkey paw showing where to find the possible wishes. Yeah, the Text thingy will spoil it for a new player and give it easy access, but for players who wish to do it the "right way", there are the clues on where to find the wishing papers and adding them to your collection (which is preserved in the journal, right?)
"Responds to" info is one of the most useless thing in the game. It doesn't matter. If you are in Singleplayer, it's absolutely useless. In Multiplayer, you can just ask everyone to get out of the room, because the ghost will respond regardless, or ask the Spirit Box questions yourself, while the rest of the team is bringing in equipment. That's how we do it anyway.
I remember when I was done using the ouiji board, i walked away from it without saying "goodbye" and my friend heard me scream from outside of the door lol.
I know this isn't a popular opinion but my favorite cursed possession is probably the spirit box just because I love music boxes irl and I also love the sound of the ghosts humming in-game too

AFAIK the cursed hunt that triggers initially has the reduced grace period. But subsequent hunts only have the increased duration and do not retain the reduced grace period.
Music box is the best for trolling friends , you stay in the main door , start the box while walking out the house then throw the box inside 😂 the cursed hunt will start and voila your friends are dead😂😂😂

Wanted to add something to the summoning circle. When you have low sanity it’s useable in VR just because you can utilize both hands or can move faster. But there’s some VR specific quirks that the desktop game doesn’t have and vice versa
The 'I wish for Knowledge" wish on the monkey paw is a lot more powerful in multiplayer as the other player(s) are still functional, and the negative effects can be partially mitigated with a combination of the tier 3 crucifix and the night vision headset. Despite this, it is still only recommended to use it if absolutely necessary.
I want a serious movie about a professional ghost hunter with the demeanor of Insym. Not like The Conjuring or whatever with a bunch of idiots shouting at the top of their lungs hoping for the best. Immediately takes me out of it. It's like if a mechanic started punching your engine to fix it and kept telling you to have faith in him instead of confidently explaining the issue and the fix. We know DAMN WELL if ghosts existed and by extension so did ghost hunters, they would be as over ghosts as we are with our day jobs too. Wouldn't it be really nice pulling the hermit card to find out which room is the ghost room? the door would be locked and you'd have a minute to find out which door is locked. Nvm, I saw the comments that said it's the monkey paw that locks the door to the ghost room. Apparently the hermit card is just a nice card for us newbies who just want to feel safe for a minute XD.
The sanity drain on the summoning circle should be maybe 5 per at most, it's nice but it's nowhere near as powerful as the other cursed items. It gives you no info just shows you the ghost (And not where it is) then starts a hunt
You got hunt on demand, tool to lower your sanity on demand, and thing which will allow you to take guaranted ghost photo for objective/additional money. Its also usefull for most of the other objectives like motion sensor, candles etc.

For the Ouija Board, even if the board is outside the map, if the planchette is still on the board when you walk away from it, it'll break and trigger a cursed hunt for the players still inside the map. I had a "teammate" who would always do this...
One thing that's nice to remember about the Ouija Board is that any question you ask that could be used to find the ghost's location (Other than outright asking "Where are you?") will cost 20%. So, "How many people are in this room?", "Are you close?", "Are you here?" will all cost 20%.

I think the “Am I Insane” question should be ghost specific. For example, it would say yes if you are in the ghost’s hunting range, and no if you are above it. And also take away maybe because it’s useless
They'd have to up the sanity cost for doing it then because it would be easy to identify some ghosts from that.

I think it's kinda weird that Death initiates a hunt while The Tower triggers an interaction, I feel like that should be the other way around, or even have The Tower be the instant death card instead of The Hanged Man, considering that Death generally symbolizes change (which could be interpreted as a ghost changing an item or the environment by moving something, writing in the book, etc.), while The Tower usually means disaster (instantly dying would qualify).
I guess either the devs don't know much about Tarot, or they figured most players wouldn't and might get confused as to why the Death card doesn't do something to directly put your life in danger.
As someone who does not know much about Tarot, yes I would be very confused. I was confused for the longest time by the tower card though, I never really watched a vid that explained what the cards do, and it took me so long to figure out that tower gives you an interaction, I would not associate that with the tower at all
Yeah, but let's be honest here. If you see the word DEATH. If you know nothing about Tarot cards (which is not-unlikely), you assume something bad is about to happen to you. And, similarly, if you see the word TOWER, and get insta-gibbed, you're not always gonna put two and two together that the TOWER did that.
@@josh___something Yeah when I first grabbed the Tarot cards I pulled 2 cards. The first was "The Devil" and I had no idea what that did. The Second was "Death" and I immediately understood what was about to happen. If I pulled "The Tower" and died I would be confused as hell.
Also I died Immediately because "The Devil" card teleports it to you and I immediately pulled "Death" so that makes sense.

Damn, like, this may be the one game that I genuinely believe gets worse the *more* you play it, it seems to just take the mystery and horror elements out of it and you're left with just ghost GeoGuessr, like, high tier phas is just, "oh, he breathed? Gotcha I know this one, BAM! got it."
The mystery element disappears but you find other ways to have fun - for example now you can make your friends to play with you and fuck around and prank them 🤣

If the game is really that bad at high knowledge levels, why do people rack up thousands of games in it?
I honestly think a better result for the "I wish for knowledge" would be that it GIVES you a correct evidence in the journal, but also hides another (like Nightmare/Insanity mode)
And for "I wish for sanity", I think a better way for it to work is that it increases everyone's sanity by a certain amount, but as a result of the wish sanity medication doesn't work anymore (in addition to the increased drain rate)
One the best things of the music box is that you can use it and drop and go outside, you have enought time to get out of the house(if you are in front of the door). I did it like 4 times while my friends were in the house. I got some iconic moments. Like, "Oh the ghost sing" and 2 seconds after he died, "WTF, the ghost just hunt with the crucifixe(tier 1 and 2), did you placed it correctly?". For the investigation, the music box is kinda bad, but to troll, is one of the best itens.
Amazing guide for all the cursed posetions! Only think you missed is that you can get emf from the oujia board and sometimes get emf5 from it if the ghost has that evidence, other than that super detailed guide I watched it all and learned a ton! Thank you insym❤❤❤
Yeah for sure! I assumed that it was clear that all interactions give EMF (so maybe EMF 5) so voodoo doll interactions, tarot card interactions and ouija board interactions etc. can all give that evidence!

A good way to remember the mirror's sanity cost without having to think of "whichever is greater" is to think of it as having two costs:
1. Each use drains 20%, and
2. After 2.67 seconds, sanity will continue to drain at a rate of 7.5% per second.

@@sabotagethefool In this video right here, the one we are commenting on, Insym explained that it's a bug. The Devs meant for most ghosts to have a 1/3 chance to be ghost models and for the Shade to have a 2/3 chance, but due to an error in the coding, Shade ended up being the only ghost that can show a shadow model when summoned.

Additional tips for the summoning circle:
- I highly recommend to take the summoning circle photo before you use the summoning circle, and I would try to avoid using the salt directly in the center of the circle as well.
It is very easy to unknowingly get a full body, dead center, ghost photo that you end up finding out was actually an off center, good distance away, summoning circle photo because the game prioritized the summoning circle above the ghost. Same thing with the disturbed salt.
- What you can do is get right up in the ghosts face to try and avoid that possibility, by cutting anything on the ground out of the photo, but then you can run into the child model which can complicate things unless you crouch and look up.
- And as for the salt, I like to set them all down with one of two goals in mind: place the pile near the circle in an area the ghost is likely go during its hunt (Bottom of the stairs in Tanglewood), or next to the circle in an area where the ghost will walk to you at the beginning of the hunt (Stand at the bottom of the stairs in Willow, and the ghost will walk though the salt to get to you at the beginning of the hunt [Just leaving it there would likely work, but you get the concept]).
With the ouija board sanity questions, the wiki does actually tell you what each sanity % range the answer means. Sanity questions also drain 5% per question asked.
If you ask "What is my sanity?" you'll get "Healthy" (over 80%), "Good (60-80%), "Average" (40-60%), "Bad" (20-40%), or "Awful" (less than 20%). This one doesn't have a text option, but if you're using voice, it's probably the most useful variation.
"How crazy am I?" and "How insane am I?" will give "Not very" (over 50%), "Very" (25-50%), or "Insane" (less than 25%).
"Am I insane?" will give "No" (over 90%), "Maybe" (20-90%), or "Yes" (under 20%).
I've been working on making a written guide for myself and my friends, so I've been referencing the wiki and your videos quite a lot over the past couple weeks. These guides definitely help make the process much easier!

A cool thing about Tarot Cards, if they want to add a new one, or to replace the Hermit or something, is put a 'Wisdom' card in. Picture could be a bunch of books or a college hat or something like that. What that one would do is cross off a ghost from your book, kind of like the monkey paw does. Even if you had 10 of those in the deck, it could only cross out 10 ghosts, out of 24. That's not bad. Obviously it weakens if they add new ghosts, but it's still useful. It *could* help figure out a hard combination when you're missing evidences. Of course, the 'cost' or 'risk' is to still pull a hangman... but I feel having something like that could break the monotony of getting a deck like 'tower, tower, hermit, fool, tower, wheel of fortune, tower, devil, tower, hermit'.
They should do a suggestion contest for a new tarot card every halloween, or every anniversary of the creation of Phasmo (though we just passed it). Not only ideas, but art as well (gives CJ a break!).
I don't think Wisdom is a tarot card, but maybe Magician or Fortune could be it?

I think there wouldn't be any reason to add any more cards, but I feel like adding the ghost type specific possession interactions mentioned in other comments could be cool, like the "How many in this room" being x+2 for the Twins, the Music Box maybe being an interaction with the Banshee and perhaps the Summoning Circle having something with the Demon(and Oni perhaps).

I once was lighting the summoning circle and it started a hunt far away. I pulled out my camera and took a pic, but started hearing footsteps and I just turned and RAN. First time a ghost has started hunting while doing the summoning circle. Luckily I had a smudge so I escaped but holy shit it sped up my heartrate 2x.
I learned a few things from the cursed objects, like some of the effects of the monkey paw I didn't know. The amount of sanity per summoning circle candle, or the mirror thing where if you only hold it for a second or however long you can it has a huge reduction in sanity. Also really like some of the monkey paws abilities that I didn't know about them. Thanks for all the information! It was a fun watch
I wish the Tarot cards were a full set of Tarot cards. here is an idea for the missing arcanas
-Magician: Changes the ghost room.
-The empress: 1%. Burns the current deck. Spawns a new deck. Adds one "Hanged man", removes all "High priestess". Removes all empress.
-The emperor: Changes one of the remaining cards to high priestess or hanged man.
-The hierophant: 2% Triggers a cursed hunt, destroys the decks, spawns another cursed item except tarot cards.
-Lovers: The ghost will have infinite detection radius for your equipment and voice.
-The chariot: 2% Gives you 25% movement speed for 3 minutes.
-Strength: Rare. Turns on the breaker and makes the ghost unable to turn it off for 3 minutes.
-Temperance: Turns off the breaker. If the breaker is is off, breaks the breaker.
-The star: Rare. Decreases sanity by 20% Increases the sanity pill sanity restoration effect by 15%.
-Judgement: 1% Teleports everyone to the truck and ends the game. Hope your current guess is correct :)
-The world: Changes the weather randomly.
It'd be really cool to havs more tarot cards although I feel like dk would disagree on adding more since that'll overpower it

Yeah, the Text thingy will spoil it for a new player and give it easy access, but for players who wish to do it the "right way", there are the clues on where to find the wishing papers and adding them to your collection (which is preserved in the journal, right?)

"Responds to" info is one of the most useless thing in the game. It doesn't matter.
If you are in Singleplayer, it's absolutely useless. In Multiplayer, you can just ask everyone to get out of the room, because the ghost will respond regardless, or ask the Spirit Box questions yourself, while the rest of the team is bringing in equipment. That's how we do it anyway.

AFAIK the cursed hunt that triggers initially has the reduced grace period. But subsequent hunts only have the increased duration and do not retain the reduced grace period.
Music box is the best for trolling friends , you stay in the main door , start the box while walking out the house then throw the box inside 😂 the cursed hunt will start and voila your friends are dead😂😂😂

My ability to pull death cards and heart pins on the first use is staggering, killed many team mates with it.
The Summoning Circle is also pretty useless because if you don’t have a lighter yet then you’re screwed
Wanted to add something to the summoning circle. When you have low sanity it’s useable in VR just because you can utilize both hands or can move faster. But there’s some VR specific quirks that the desktop game doesn’t have and vice versa

The 'I wish for Knowledge" wish on the monkey paw is a lot more powerful in multiplayer as the other player(s) are still functional, and the negative effects can be partially mitigated with a combination of the tier 3 crucifix and the night vision headset. Despite this, it is still only recommended to use it if absolutely necessary.

I want a serious movie about a professional ghost hunter with the demeanor of Insym.
Not like The Conjuring or whatever with a bunch of idiots shouting at the top of their lungs hoping for the best. Immediately takes me out of it. It's like if a mechanic started punching your engine to fix it and kept telling you to have faith in him instead of confidently explaining the issue and the fix.
We know DAMN WELL if ghosts existed and by extension so did ghost hunters, they would be as over ghosts as we are with our day jobs too. Tell me this isn't exactly how it would play out:

Wouldn't it be really nice pulling the hermit card to find out which room is the ghost room? the door would be locked and you'd have a minute to find out which door is locked. Nvm, I saw the comments that said it's the monkey paw that locks the door to the ghost room. Apparently the hermit card is just a nice card for us newbies who just want to feel safe for a minute XD.
The sanity drain on the summoning circle should be maybe 5 per at most, it's nice but it's nowhere near as powerful as the other cursed items. It gives you no info just shows you the ghost (And not where it is) then starts a hunt
You got hunt on demand, tool to lower your sanity on demand, and thing which will allow you to take guaranted ghost photo for objective/additional money. Its also usefull for most of the other objectives like motion sensor, candles etc.
