The idea that there's this really important, amazing grand plot of the server unfolding, and all we get to see is the POV of the rat living in your walls, barely witnessing it from a distance.
It's so weird because you *could* have an actual ending? There was another thing that happened that day that is why he decided to end the secret tunnel arc? But he just. Didn't. It's two hours and it's not in there.
I love the part where you and Chief agree "Tunnel business is tunnel business" and part ways in peace, like, it has the same energy as walking up to a bunch of dudes digging a hole at the beach and going "This the hole?" "hell yeah get in here" and joining the excavation lmao

I put on 1+ hour minecraft vids in the background... I did not expect I had signed myself up for a 2 hour drama series where I hung on every minute. This was amazing, most entertaining video I've seen in a long long time!
theres a pretty big difference between like taking a fight in neutral ground or in an advantaged position or even while being jumped and literally being in someone else's tunnels, while they have dolphins, and there were two of them, and he wasn't certain who they were, and he had no idea where he was or where he was going. like even the most bloodthirsty knows the difference between taking a fight and suicide and that would have been sketchy at best for him. running was the only real option and doing what he did was just getting out of there before rek even really had a chance to chase if he were going to try and hunt him down.
I cannot believe that as the player with the highest playtime I have never found any of these or was even close to finding any of these tunnels. What the hell. Everybody found little pieces of it. Not me though! Maybe I'm not Minecraft's Greatest Detective......
RekRap is actually the best one to do this. Just having him sneaking around for the fun of it, discovering random lore that was supposed to be secret, and then reacting to it... This is priceless. This is some of the best lifesteal content I've seen in months.

That's something I always notice in this type of video. In some ways it can tell the viewer what to be thinking, but more significantly it can also convey the unspoken thoughts within the video--that's what I think makes it so magical.

If you put soul soil on the bottom of the dolphin tunnels you'd travel even faster. Only issue: it's a fairly common occurrence to travel so fast that you're constantly jumping out of rendered chunks, forcing you into a running state instead of a swimming state, which causes you to slow down. Without the soul speed you travel at around 120 blocks per second, and with soul speed III it's almost up to 150 blocks per second [I think]. A way that I've found to reduce the chances of the chunk glitch happening is to simply reduce the intervals between the beacon & dolphin stations you've set up, so you have more chances to recover your speed. You can also use render distance amplifier mods. My personal pick is Bobby, because it puts no strain on servers; it runs based off memory stored from previously visited chunks. Edit: I should also mention that you can punch this speed up even further with speed 2 from level 4 beacons... :) So, how can you max out your speed? • Soul soil flooring (do NOT use soul sand; you won't keep contact with the floor, so soul speed won't take effect) • Soul speed III • Depth strider III (you may want to place dolphins at intervals at this speed, the leads tend to break) • Dolphins • Respiration III (you'll drown otherwise) • Speed II (level 4 beacons, 400 block interval works best. You can place the dolphins alongside them) I'd use diamond/netherite boots with unbreaking III and mending; soul speed wears down armour durability faster than you think at such high speeds. At this speed, kinetic energy is your greatest enemy. At the end of the tunnels, a two or three-block thick wall of cobwebs with a solid block wall behind it tends to do the trick for a quick and compact stopping mechanism.
