To save time, buy the fel elemental rod in winterspring when you're there for the ghost part. Also, take advantage of people selling summoning services in the world and set your heath to Tanaris if you want to knock out the first two armor questslines quickly in one setting.
Ew, this is a lenghty quest chain and I’m wondering if it’s worth spending all the time and gold on it before replacing it all in raids. I might just go into raids with random dungeon pieces
What a fuckin joke this ectoplasm bullshit quest is, you can barely get 3-4 of them before the distiller despawns, as a ranged hunter this quest sucks because you have to stay close enough to the distiller to get the buff which means trying to kite the mob in a small space where you have to time the kill perfectly, then get away from the drone that spawns. Also seems if you get to far from the distiller it will despawn early.

I had to buy an extra 6 to finish. Was lucky to get 2-3 tags while it was up. Spawn rates should have been increased with how many people were doing this at the exact same time
guess its all subjective i finished all my ectoplasm as a mage in 6 out of the 8 free cannisters you get from the quest, just set it down and dont leave its render distance then it will last for a decent amount of time. place it inbetween atleast 2 different pack spawns and just try to tag them and bring them into your thing before killing them.
Up until this point, in raw gold from just the quests, 20g, 40g, and then 40g for the rod. The mats in the first turn in we’re about 120g so in this video part 1 we are at 220 gold spent, however you do earn quite a lot from the quests you do
Before I dive into the .5 quest I just bought my epic mount and have 100g I assume this is going to be expensive… is it worth just farming gold and waiting for MC/Ony?
If you can find a raid that will let you in MC without then you will save a lot of gold and time. I didnt buy mount because I want the tier set. Im guessing we only get 2 pieces of loot per boss in MC so we will probably be wearing this gear for awhile. The gear is way more useful than a mount that goes a little faster. I probably won't buy mount because its not really necessary for any content.
So question, the quest giver gives you options to buy bracers for 20g if you want to get the upgraded version for a different spec. But after completing gloves and belt part, not seeing that option for those items. Does anyone know why?
Can someone clarify something for me? If I did this questline before I have all of my tier 0 gear, can I come back to the side at the end of the video and get the new pieces upgraded for free? Or would I need all my gear first, then do the quest

You're joking right? Try doing it as a prot warrior doing 250 dps and getting your tags stolen by druids and hunters

getting the ectoplasm in EPL sucked, not many spawns and ally griefing the areas took me forever

tier 0,5 quest in sod have the same quest as som and classic era right ? expensive and long anoying quest line ?
It was about 50hrs and 500g, but I got quite geared, and looted as well

You need to have the pieces of gear for them to upgrade but you can do the quest up until that point
