Steve, I present you with a challenge, possibly your toughest assignment yet: Tell Beatuful Wife that you're going camping for the weekend, then Stealth Camp in your own home without her catching you. Probably best advised to remove any weaponry from the house before attempting this though in case of misunderstanding...
About the time he started stringing up the danger tape I started to think this is less "camping" at the cook shelter and more of a "hostile take-over" of the cook shelter.
The red danger tape is what drew the cop toward them! IDK why they didnt think that a cop would be suspicious of random red danger tape showing up out of nowhere.
It annoys me at times. Seriously no one gives a shit unless you have a tent in their front yard or if you took over their kids treehouse in the backyard. I've been homeless and no one gives a shit about you or anything you do as long as its not in the public eye like in supermarket parking lot or a place that also gets a lot of traffic.
I'm guessing you are actually a very law abiding person. Those of us who dabble in harmless and other law breaking know that urgency is king and consequences can far exceed the minor law that is broken.
Yeah. I've camped in some crazy places and the one thing I've noticed is 99% of the time, most people just go about their business whether they see you or not. The other 1% of the time would be in a vehicle in a residential neighborhood. Nosy neighbors are the stealth campers sworn enemy.

I like how Steve accepts that if he does this enough, that he will eventually be caught. When that time comes, I hope to see the park ranger or officer enforce the spirit of the law, rather than the letter of the law. Steve doesn't litter, and nor does he do any sort of damage the area where he camps. He's not the droids that they're really looking for.

You have the best access to equipment in Canada. 😊 Tents, sleeping bags, cookers, heaters, solar panels, bug repelant, winches Danger tape etc. Here in UK our camping gear is crap. ❤
Also, what if someone was genuinely in need of shelter, stranded, some emergency situation, especially at this time of the year and got put off from seeing the red tape? I know this is hypothetical, and nothing bad happened in the end and the tape was only up for a brief time.
BombsGaspan Yep! I love this channel and will always love this channel. However, this is dangerously close to being a dick move as anyone counting on that shelter for cooking would have what alternative? Are there another cooking shelters in that area?

You have absolutely got this, your parents are wrong, even if you don't currently feel that way, for not helping you after you became "legally" an adult, you're still young and need support, but your family can be anyone YOU choose. Much love, from Washington.
I don't know what hardships you're going through in your life but things can always get better. Please do not give up and reach out for help if you need it.
I’m so jealous of our neighbors to the North!
Canada seems so freaking Cozy & Welcoming!!
It’s like What I would imagine American was like in the 80’s-90’s !
"Can't have enough chocolate milk." . Somehow this presumably, unintentional ending line, further magnifies the gentle flow of this channel. To Steve, Beautiful Wife, and Crazy Neighbor: THANK you. Thank you for helping all of us with these videos. So grateful to have found y'all, especially right now in 2020. The world needs this. Sending peace from Chicago. ✌️
I cant get enough of Crazy Neighbor. he's such a likable character. MOREEEE
Crazy neighbor is the greatest. Very pleasant and smart. A real adder to this channel.👍
Totally passes the layover test
Steve can just hide .. crazy neighbor = homeless bum 😂
Steve! I vote you change the beer fund to "Beer & Gear" .
Love the videos!
Rest in Peace Crazy Neighbor. This was a great video.
Cops like, "oh yeah, I recognize that Suburban. It's just Steve and Crazy Neighbor" and carries on. Lol!
We need to do a GoFundMe and get this guy some night vision cameras lol
I like how Steve accepts that if he does this enough, that he will eventually be caught. When that time comes, I hope to see the park ranger or officer enforce the spirit of the law, rather than the letter of the law. Steve doesn't litter, and nor does he do any sort of damage the area where he camps. He's not the droids that they're really looking for.
can'tcha read don't go in there
Long ago I was caught doing something similar, except I was just getting laid. Got told not to do it again and a parking ticket.
Puts “Do Not Enter” tape to prevent people from wandering inside. Clearly you’ve never met an American, that tape would make me want to come investigate. 🤣
exactly that's what I said. I would definitely come in there if I saw that tape.
Sad to say but yep people are curious
But Steve’s in Canada, if they did run into someone it would just be a bunch of “Oh hey, sorry!” “Oh no, I’m sorry!” Sorry bud!” “So sorry!” “Have a great day!” “Thanks you too, and sorry!”
Ditto, esp with the smoke
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Nothing more inviting than red danger tape
"Maybe we should turn on the dark"
-Crazy Neighbor
Well ýah
Amazing
I thought he meant the Night-vision feature on the camera...I'm an idiot.
Yup yup - I’m having that phrase 😆
These guys are a great team
Police back at the station: "There was this strange red danger tape and the smell of Turkey stew."
😂 i was thinking the same thing
Hahaha
Lol
You nailed it! Sweet sneak!
😅😅😅😅😅😅😂
“If anybody works here and you recognize it, I. am. sorey” 😂 Canadians are the best
Crazy neighbor cooking with the cig in his hand! Gotta love it!😂😂😂
Since the start of the pandemic, my wife and I often get into arguments and I end up getting kicked out of the house. I find these videos very helpful.
Right.lol
lol
Should kick her out the house... Equal rights & all that.
Sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope things get better for you.
@@hyperrealisticpixeldeath408 clearly never had a reel relationship before
I’m always amazed at what RUclips decides I might like and somehow I do.
(Two grown men in a "cook house" in the middle of the woods at night)
Cop: "Hey, what are you guys doing in there?"
Steve: "Cooking Thanksgiving dinner!"
🤣
“Yeah science! Yeah Mr. White!”
Ha ha ha ha.
the cops here ask questions first
Where's the lie? Steve may be a lot of things, but a liar will never be one of those things.
”Turn on the dark”! Need this on some swag. Crazy neighbor!
This made me laugh out loud! Thank you Nairb for pointing it out, I didn't catch it during the video, well I kinda heard CN say it but I didn't laugh until you called it out again.
He needs to licence a video game. "Steve Wallis: Homeless simulator"
That would be a great video game
There actually is a hobo simulator game lol
Sounds like my grad school experience
Inaccurate name. Stealth Camping simulator would be better.
I'd buy it.
You’re what has been keeping a smile on my face these past couple weeks. Thank you for your good energy and just for you being you Steve. God bless my friend.
"Turn on the dark!" LOL
Famous quote i used to say to my kids
This is the first video I got my name in the credits for donating. Rest in peace Crazy Neighbor.
“Turn on the dark”! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
"Turn on the Dark" should be a tee, lol
Should be a t-shirt in the Merch shop for "Hunker Down"
I love that your simple, not a professional survivalist, just an average joe, like the rest of us, enjoying sleeping outdoors around a fire. Great adventures to watch. Thanks for sharing them 🍻
I love crazy neighbor! He's a decent, kind man that is patient enough to be a perfect trekking buddy! Keep up the great content, Steve! I love your videos and what you do!
Now THATs a proper stove. Filler up!
no kidding - cant beat that for heat!
...and its vented!
My favorite part of these is by the end you can tell Steve has had plenty of step 2's LOL
Missing you, Crazy Neighbor. Great episode, Steve. Thank you both.
Cop - "I don't get paid enough to go see what is in that cook shelter. That's how you end up on Unsolved Mysteries".
He coulda got a free thanksgiving meal, lol
He knew it was Steve just hunkering in there👍
Now I can't get the theme song and Robert Stack's voice out of my head :P
@@FrostBlueFire : well he probably already knows what goes on there at nights (between the local consenting adults) but got especially intrigued tonight at all the Danger Cordon tape.
Blue and White chequered Cop Cordon tape might've piqued his curiosity a little more.
Exactly... haha
Cop just said “2020 is bad enough I don’t want any problems with whatever is on the other side of that tape”
The cop saw the danger tape maybe in his or her mind that their could be several construction work holes 🕳 danger at night.
If and when Steve is arrested, I would almost guarantee that it’s a well meaning cop who THINKS a law was being broken.
Never know they might have tried calling someone who did not answer to verify what's going on lol
@JMFS there was Definitely a spotlight. Most people don't use their spotlights on auction vehicles.
That's what I love about Steve & Crazy Neighbor, they embody the adolescent, mischevious teen in all us middle-age, depraved, repressed old men ! LMAO !
Steve, find an old firewatch tower/house and camp in one of those!!
Seeing Crazy Neighbor in this old video makes me sorrowful, but also glad that all these memories of him remain here on your channel to continue his legacy. Always appreciate coming across old and new videos!
6:06 The grin Steve gets on his face when he talks about getting to stealth camp is very wholesome
Im loving these sketchy campspots your going to lately. I actually get a little nervous like im there with you ahaha
i can imagine a park ranger driving by and saying, "wtf"? lol
frank james 😃
I swear thats just a bag of flour officer! No measurements...
The shelter being designed with closed walls all sides with 2 doorways, I reckon regardless of paranoia that shelter was made to be swagged in, love the hunger for stealth you guys really ball on a budget, the wizards of stealth camping
Steve, this was the most exhilarating stealth camping video I've ever seen! The tension gradually increased, until the whole of RUclips was quaking in fear....I don't know how the cops didn't smell the turkey stew! Keep up the good work mate. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺
Crazy Steve. Love from New Zealand 🇳🇿
You Canadians are really good neighbors!!!!! God bless America and God bless Canada 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@gxlorp God bless Mexico too.
*neighbours
Dying here: ”hopefully when he sees the red danger tape, he doesnt cross it”. Crazy neighbor!
...speaking of the cop on patrol
Almost peed my 👖 laughing 😂
Watching things back now, Steve's been through a lot. I'm glad even through the tribulations, he's still stealth camping with zeal. And Rest in Peace Crazy Neighbor 🙏
Steve’s reaction when he thought the cops were going to walk up was exactly how I reacted when my parents caught me drinking for the first time when I was 16! Had me rolling while watching this!
2 Smalls = bigger than big
Crazy neighbor has that old school briiliance
Two is One .. One is None ..
he said ‘maybe we should turn on the dark’ 😂 that shit made me chuckle
Just so you know ... if I was walking by, I would go investigate all the red tape! First place I'd go! LOL
I carry yellow "caution" tape. It's friendlier
You have the best access to equipment in Canada. 😊 Tents, sleeping bags, cookers, heaters, solar panels, bug repelant, winches Danger tape etc. Here in UK our camping gear is crap. ❤
Danger tape is like waving “come here” sign
So is the smoke comming from the shelter
@@OneHunnitNoCapStannitOnBidnisz like a moth to a flame😉
@@robertwilliams450 The smoke from a cook shelter is to be expected. The danger tape is clearly not something to be expected there.
@@nanoflower1 smoke that late at night. To me thats a red flag more so than the red tape
@@robertwilliams450 lmao what I thought, you can smell cooking food half a mile away with a slight breeze
I really enjoy watching Steve and Glen “I mean crazy neighbor” on their camping adventures.
The danger tape was not a good idea. Never do something smart that eliminates the possibility of playing dumb.
True
Never break more than one law/rule at a time.
@@BombsGaspan chill out pld
I often went camping in those kitchen shacks with my Mom and dad back in the 50s. Alberta and B.C had alot of them back then. We'd even pick fruit and can it on the wood stoves. And in the 90s my Mom did it her local park. The good folk of the town complained but the cop told them to just leave her alone.
When Steve camps alone he cooks enough for two plus. Had company so he cooks enough for four🤣🤣🤣
Math aint easy yo. 😄
Just put on my new HUNKER DOWN T-SHIRT for this.
"Turn off the light Glenn... Oh I mean Crazy Neighbor"
"Turn on the dark?"
"Can't have enough chocolate milk."
One of the best camping videos in a while.
Thought he said Clem tbh
Glenn and crazy neighbor doesnt care being called glenn 😂😂
