- This was filmed a month or so ago, before putting kate to bed for the winter.
She made 153 BHP at about 6200rpm which is pretty good going to be honest.
We're all chuffed to bits that she held together, as listening to that engine screaming is not relaxing :D
Big thanks to Chris Holland from RRS Rolling road services, and all of you who support us on here. You guys make a difference :)
Kate is a nippy classic car, and a lot of fun to drive in.
Big carbs and back to the rollers it is for us & Kate next year, stay tuned!

In layman's terms.... it goes like shit of a shovel 😂... seriously well done gents... all of you that have done your bit on kate.... absolutely Awesome 👌
She runs real good 😃👍🍀
She does, and we think there is more smoothness and efficiency somewhere in there
Hi Mano and team.
It would great to see an update video of the goings on at your lockup.
Its more like a workshop.
I am filming at the present time, and will endeavor to publish in the next 2-3 weeks.
Thanks for your interest 🙂 👍🏼
Very impressive!
Thank you :)
Kate is running really well you guys did a fantastic job, well done.
Thank you!
Great result dudes, that stable still has most of its horses
Thanks buddy, a few more in there somewhere I reckon. We'll see 👀
Well done Mano and Gav. Ol' Kate is a proper goer! All the best, Mart.
(When you consider the early Essex stock V6 lumps knocked out 140 bhp on a good day) those figures are excellent !
Wow Kate sounds amazing.
She's come so far thanks to you guys. Can't wait to see what next for her!
Glad you enjoyed, thanks 😊
Well done guys, all that hard work and what a result, so pleased for you, you've all earnt it, nice one 😊👍
From 0 HP, driven by a BFH and a lump of wood with no cylinder head, to 153 Bald Eagles is a mighty impressive leap Manno. Merry christmas to you, Gav, Tony and all the other boys that have laid hands on Kate. Here's to 2024 and her adventures on the road.
Thank you very much, puts things into perspective that does :)
Merry Christmas to you too buddy, and thanks a TON!! Emmanuel :)
And finally caught up. Looking forward to the next episode. What a great job you guys have done on this beauty !
Thanks for supporting our efforts buddy! 😊😍
Love the look of the engine, extractors look crazy, sound is the best i mean its a chaff cutter considering a stock old 1.8 corolla is about 132hp not about hp... about sound and power to weight
You built a great engine, Mano and Team brilliant. Merry Christmas to you all 🎉👌💪👍
Thanks Ali!! Merry Christmas to you & Tina 💖
From the days of that seized lump, and many hours of spannering 😊, great stuff, sounds ace 👍🏻
Fantastic ❤🚗
Thank you 🤗
Amazing watched from day one massive achievement guys u got a lovely toy now 😊
Thank you 🤗
From where Kate started as a rolling junk yard to the Car she is now you boys should be very proud of yourselves. That's a nice screaming little engine a 153 BHP Well done Manny to you and your entire team and a merry Christmas
But it's not the same car this is what I don't get when someone rebuilds a car back to new condition all new parts and the amount of the original car that has been cut off it isn't the same car Kate is basically a pile of scrap metal now sitting in a junk yard new floor pan's new sills new roof new front end new rear-end 🤔 where is the original car now 😂
@@LOVE2RC Kate is the same car. the body is the same although the car does have numerous Patch panels the floor pans, fenders, quarter panels, doors Etc. are original to the car. True the engine, trans. differential are replaced and it's been turned into a right hand drive with rectangle headlights We still have to consider that the main components are original so Kate IS the same car. If you must, call Kate a Restomod (Restored and Modified) Better than New.
I always enjoy the updates guys. The exhaust note sounds great ! Gets me excited to put mine on the dyno.
Thanks! Yep it gets exciting listening to the revs build up 👍
Rest well Kate youve come a long way, from flatbed to screaming your heart out on the rollers.lol Great job Dudes. Cheers.🍻
Thank you 😊
Good work guys
Thank you
164.34 bhp per tonne. Very nice.
I like the sound of that even better!!
Nice job. That's more power than a stock 3.0L Essex V6 and nearly as much as the 2.8L Cologne V6. .
good vid on channel thanks lee
DUDES!!

🎅 🎄
LLTK Sir, and Merry Christmas & best Wishes for a happy & prosperous New Year :)
awesome result. what cam have you got in there?
It's the piper bp300
Thats an astounding result, you need to think of what would be considered a powerful engine at the time kate was a girl.
Been watching from moment u bought that heep of junk I was thinking at the time.. but what you’ve achieved and done with it a massive fuckin well done guys .. jeeze sounds awesome and the bhp it’s made 👌💯.. great content and keep smashing it Mano 🫶🏻
Thanks for sticking with us buddy, glad you enjoyed watching the vid :)
