1969 Ford Capri - Part 27 - Start-up and timing sorted. She's good :)

This is Part 27 - Engine runs like a swiss watch now.
Ready to go back into Kate, after some bulkhead welding work.
Cam timing for out due to belt jumping cam pulley teeth.
Now sorted..
Also, inlet manifold vacuum leak issues sorted.
Runs beautifully now.

Ian summed it up best when he said it is all the more satisfying when you consider where you started. You guys have learned so much and that engine is the proof. I really can't wait to see you tackle the rest of this project and many more to come. It is Thanksgiving week here in America, and I'm truly thankful that I found this channel. Massive confidence boost now! You have now fully rebuilt and bench tested a 1.6 Pinto engine! Sounds great. Learned some great lessons. We have seen the face of Tesla! Heard the engine of Kate! When you're ready for an oil change, don't be disheartened if there is tiny metallic particles in the oil. It always happens! Bedding in deposits! Worry if they're BIG particles.
