I showed up looking at the title, expecting the video to be some low key click bait smear campaign, and I was pleasantly surprised to watch it all the way through, and it's just praise for how awesome Derek, his family, his work ethic, and the quality of his RUclips content it. Bravo, sir, as little as I like these videos because they're usually negative, you gave me a bamboozle. Thanks for that! Keep those fuel make it happeners and lightning cables working!

I only came on here because I thought someone was ripping into Derek lol. Was ready to tear someone a new one. VGG has been a favourite of mine for a long time, due to his laid back friendly style. Genuinely seems a great bloke and big family man. Learnt a few things from this vid I didnt know. May he long continue. 👏👍

I thought the same thing, was ready to defend Derrick, goes to show you that a family style show that you and your kids can watch together. I love he came to Tn, broke my heart when he got his shop broken into. He and his wife are outstanding people, we wish their family all the best.

sigh, Derek is one of my first discoveries on youtube and he still has never let me down. he has been one of the most consistently talented presenters, generally changing and understanding his viewership and keeping values we agree with. It is amazing as i look down the comments so many are sharing my sentiments and expressing them in heartfelt and articulate ways.

You see. Even a "Truth about Derek" video can’t tarnish him. He’s a great guy that used his corporate knowledge to gain just enough wealth to buy into his true passion. Love hearing these success stories.
Love VGG & all the corresponding projects & I never miss a VGG episode & I watched the first 2 seasons of Roadworthy Rescues. His content is something I look forward to weekly as well as the "budget build" shows. I want to meet Derek one day & I was bummed when I couldn't get up to Jefferson Wisconsin to see him during the annual car show.

Derek bieri is a damn legend. So is puddins fab shop and junkyard digs. I had the fortune of meeting Derek down in Florida and he wanted my Buick which is similar to his 56. He fixed the timing by ear and it was spot on. Not to mention he's genuinely a good guy and funny to boot. We will all be dipped.
His key is that he's relatable. Outstanding guy with an outstanding woman and family 🙏🔥🔥🙏🇺🇸

Love it. Iv'e been watching VGG for the past 4 maybe 5 years? He has an awesome down to earth demeanor. And a dry sense of humor. Yes and crazy yankee ingenuity. I could go on about the family and just good stuff. Keep it up bud.

Vgg is one of the biggest most successful channels on fb that hasn't sold out to a corporate business for some big money. Yes some of his phrases get a little old. But I always enjoy his videos. He's also a extremely good driver

Hes a good actor for sure. People that talk on their channel like they talk in everyday life is better to watch and support . Its hard to be a fake so just talk like you normally do when the cameras arent on.

Derek is also a veteran. He spent time in the military. Let's not forget that. I have watched his shows. And have commented on some of his builds. Of which he has answered me.

What year model would fit on it ? other then a 1970 model. will something in the 80s work on it ? your help would be great . No around where I live can help I have ask a lot of people .can not find anyone who can tell what would work on it the best . Thank you

I can't speak for how Derek pronounces his last name, but this is the pronunciation as I know it: Beer-(long e). The family crest is literally the implements used to brew beer.
There are two ways of spelling the name; the way Derek spells it, and that's not my branch, and Beery, which is my branch. There is one other way of spelling it, Beeri, but I've never met or read about anyone in recent times who uses that spelling.
