Thank you for the video and links to the products! I have been wanting to upgrade my sprayer handle after using the cheap one that came with it last year, and this was a great video on how to do it. I used the links you provided to help you out, however, I did go with a 17" extension lance instead, without a bend in it, accounting for the 45* angle of the nozzle body adapter. It's definitely personal preference when it comes to that part like you said.
It’s definitely a preference, my fear was that it was going to be too heavy. Have you put yours together yet? Curious if it’s tip heavy or not.
@@treasuredLawn Not sure, I just ordered everything tonight. I'm a taller guy and I found myself really trying to extend the original wand to begin with and my arm is at a downward angle, so I figured I would go with a longer extension without an angle. I'll let you know how it goes and if the weight is an issue.
@@chriscadle8187 oh yeah I figure if you’re taller the extra length will be helpful! Please let me know how it feels though I’m curious to know! I would say definitely get yourself a hose clamp too mine started to come a little loose I added one later just to be safe. It was well after the video was made unfortunately.

Thank you for this, my RYOBI 18v backpack sprayer handle broke, it would be 40 plus shipping. So I will be upgrading my to this. I will be going off your links.
Absolutely! I love it and I do now recommend getting a hose clamp for the hose end and using that. I added one to mine just for good measure because it started to feel a little loose. Just something to add
Also I use gimme me the green stuff, instead of the tape. Way much easier
I’ll need to check that out cause the tape sometimes is just frustrating

@@franciscosalazar203 is this like a glue? Once it’s on there it won’t come off?
I upgraded the Nozzle to my sprayer last year and it make a huge difference. Great video!
I love the whole upgrade! I think the handle is just an amazing part to add and just offers a lot more comfort to the process
The lance needs to be longer. You're gonna get too much overspray on yourself.
I also think the hose could be better. Looks super chincy.
If it’s too long it gets too heavy one the end and becomes uncomfortable to hold. If you’re using the Teejet nozzles you shouldn’t get overspray on you. I wasn’t getting any on me if I turned the extender “upside down” and sprayed it was a good amount and if your arms are fully extended it’s not going to spray back on you in good spraying conditions.
Hi, I found you by looking for a longer wand, and a cone attachment by the nozzle for targeting a specific weed without getting stuff on what I don't want dead. You made an awesome upgraded handle but I am older and find it hard to bend over when spraying. For this reason, I threw away my cheap pump sprayer and plan to buy a battery operated one (probably a 4 gallon backpack one). I have lots of 60V Greenworks tools but their sprayer got bad reviews. So maybe the Ryobi or the Milwaukee 12V. All the wands seem to be a similar length. I love your idea but I want to spray while walking erect or not hunched over. Can you recommend a similar extension that is a bit longer? I too would be worried about drift and chemicals blowing back. Thanks!
Absolutely, there is a 7in wand with a quick connect option that you can use to get you a longer wand I considered this one here at first but ultimately thought it was too long for me.

I hope this helps!
I have had good success with the Vevor wheeled sprayer. It’s 4 gallons, backpack with a wheeled cart for stand up spraying with a strong battery lasting over 4 hours per charge. Retails for around $100
Hey man!!! Good video as usual, very informative. Thanks for sharing!! 👍
Glad you enjoyed! It’s a wonderful upgrade in my opinion!
great
Thank you!
