I dont understand interviews with authors when you try to avoid spoilers, surely anyone willing to watch an hour of Hobb has read ROTE and i think it would benefit the interview if you have been specific with your questions e.g. likely you meant Malta to the question about character evolution in liveship, because then you'd get more specific answers, but anyway just my thoughts, thanks for posting the interview it was great
and then some of us have not, and don't give a shit about spoilers anyway.
either way, you're right. it's not logical to get so bent out of shape over spoilers. you're going into it, you better know what you're getting. which is (hopefully) a complete, rounded conversation about the works of the author, all of the relevant elements.
