And speaking of healthcare, studies need to take equal time studying effects of illness and injury as it pertains to BOTH sexes. It is still woefully one sided in studying disease.
Equal pay is a big one. If I apply for a male dominated job I'm instantly paid less. If a male applies for a female dominated job, he automatically gets paid MORE.
The pink tax is another. We have a higher cost of living because right out of the gate we have to buy tampons or pads for our menses. Most of which are full of carcinogenic chemicals.

Minimum wage is literally the same for everyone. (Although it differs from state to state) If I get the same job as a black woman, and we start at the same time WE WILL MAKE THE SAME PER HOUR. If she works less or takes more time off than me, is the only way my paycheck will be bigger. THERE IS LITERALLY NO WAGE GAP.

That statement goes more toward the higher wage earners. You know jobs that require education and the education is the same yet white men are offered higher salaries.

In the jobs you are speaking about, there is usually a negotiation process; the employer offers you a wage and you chose to accept that wage OR you make a counter offer. If I was offered $70K to start and countered for $80K and that counter is accepted, would it be considered in the conversation of the "wage gap" if someone applying for the same position accepted their initial offer of $70K?
I was offered $56K for a job and asked for $60K and my counter was accepted. A candidate of color, took the exact same position and accepted their initial offer of $56K; then he found out I was making $60K and filed a grievance; he stated he had never felt so undervalued in all of his life....wasn't he technically the one doing the undervaluing of his own skills by NOT asking for more money?
And at the end of the day, there are laws that protect people against being discriminated against; if a man and a woman are going for two openings in a company and they are 100% equal in ALL respects (a true apples to apples comparison); if the man and the woman are hired on the same day and the man is hired on for more than the woman (in this example, there is no negotiating for salary), and the woman finds out; she would be able to sue for discriminatory practices and she would win.
So that is why there is NO gender pay gap.
We are not talking about your little part time job at KFC or McDonald's 😂

Due to the same hyper focus on the issue and not the potential solutions to those issues.
