Love listening to Kevin why doesn't he continue his own RUclips channel?
I don’t like the feeling of forced content. I was pretty private the majority of my life and it’s easier for me to jump on a conversation than have to create a new one frequently. Odd behavior I know but that’s just me. Thanks for taking the time to listen and respond!
@@kevinjodrey6639 i know the feeling Kevin! Rock on! Thanks for letting us in when you do!
@@kevinjodrey6639 i hit all of it . great work !
@kevinjodrey6639
All of us that appreciate your insights will gather it in whatever form you care to deliver it. Big thanks from us and our humble farm here in Thailand. 😎✌
@@kevinjodrey6639 when you reproduce those old school skunky cultivars I'll be the first to buy a sack.yourw doing gods work Kevin. I hope to smoke one with you one day. I'll bring my fire you bring yours. Stoners over 50 appreciate great cannabis in a different way. It's good to see people like us still exist. You're a wealth of knowledge and I have learned a lot from you, even after 35 years growing myself. Keep up the great work.
The audio is very rough on this one even with my speakers at max volume, but we always appreciate any and all uploads!
Yeah i had to use subtitles tbh fascinating tho
Reupload on this one... seems that people who use the clipon Rode mic's always it on mono and the cameras have stereo speaker audio out of both speakers.. so it ends up the person talking only comes out one speaker (and if you have a phone with only one speaker this is why it sounds off)
Has anyone ever heard of #3 skunk from the 1990 ⛽⛽⛽🤯🤯
ruclips.net/video/p_80XQwOWRU/видео.html
brings tears to my eyes, thinking of strains gone, the smells and the taste...and of course, the many different, amazing complex highs...thanks for keeping on, Kevin...
Someone should be getting paid to preserve these strains. Jodrey is doing God's work.
Buy land races and spread the genetics to young cones-ours
I could listen to Kevin talk about this stuff for days
yeah? I can never hear him on this stupid channel
Any stories from Uncle Kevin are great
ruclips.net/video/p_80XQwOWRU/видео.html
Thank the Goddess there there many of us in the weed community who are dedicated to keeping landraces but is it too late Kevin Jodrey your a guiding light on this issue
This is almost the cannabis education I want. I wish there was a program that taught the history from the Neolithic cave paintings in Japan, to the hemp goddess Magu, to how cannabis moved around the globe and finally gather the stories of how cannabis became so American (she's very intertwined with our history as a nation). Like, I'd love to take a course in cannabis film-cannabis art-cannabis literature.
omg, there could be an entire course on Louis Armstrong and marijuana. Thanks for being inspiration.

Much love and blessings. I took a cambodian thai to january here in sacramento.
Awesome experience.
Stock from SnowHigh.
Shalom
Super nice traits passed onto the offspring. The terpinolene mentholated lemon grass/funky spice profile passed on very nicely.
Super heady paranoid leaning high, makes colors vivid.
Still in the 14+ wk range with 5x stretch in the hybrid taken to f2.
I appreciate the experience shared here immensely.
You said In Sac ? Dude can I get some Snips or clones off ur Plant ? Blessings for sharing this Info . It is really cool to know that is growing Here .
@cohenreyes1499 I have seed stock but not inbred. Easily still an 18wk+ varietal. I do not have any living plants unfortunately but seed stock yes sir let me know
@@Highlander.7 I would love some seeds ! im just off mac road . I can meet you and pick up some seeds ? let me know I would absolutely love some seeds
@@cohenreyes1499 yessir i would be honored to share this unique stock
I know everyone is all about Westcoast flower but Maine is producing some good shit, my son had brought back some heavy psychedelic smoke last year, hadn't smoked anything like it since the mid 90s, it was sun grown, "greenhouse" in good organic soil ✌️💚
Neat a genuine meeting of the hair
id love to see the old school strains come back in original form like Columbian gold and Alcapulco gold
ruclips.net/video/p_80XQwOWRU/видео.html
Columbian gold 1972 the best strain i ever had it was like a lsd trip i just kept getting higher and higher for and hour and high for about 4 hours started out in 1969
@@chrismanes8872 dude i had 3 hit off a joint of columbian gold and felt like i was tripping balls lol that was back in 01 . i was like 13 or 14 lmao but everytime i tell somebody that story they say yeah you got the real one lol
@@chrismanes8872 soooo true, Columbian gold bud , and Columbian red bud, gold bud was solid gold , and red bud was solid red, soooo exotic, today they put a name on it call it exotic and it's all green weed nothn exotic about them
A lot of the Columbia, Panama, and Jamaican we saw in the mid to late 70’s was actually from St. Vincent… not all, but a good amount was grown and from this Caribbean island. The smugglers we picked up weed from in Ft. Lauderdale would rename their haul to whatever they thought would sell faster. That said, we also had great heirloom cultivars from those three countries.
We used to get great Jamaican bud, at least from when I started smoking, in 85', until about 88', in Central New York State via NYC.
Different Jamaican, but always a similar look/smell/texture. I'd get so high I'd have to constantly remind myself to "Walk normal", when walking down the sidewalk, thinking everyone may be watching me, lol, while knowing no one was...? Laugh more, forgetting, then thinking the same thing. "This shit must be laced..?", But never was. Just super heady!
Hardest brick I ever saw was some Black Jamaican. Any seeds were crushed, even. Couldn't find one good one. That was the trippiest weed I've ever smoked! Actual hallucinations, tracers, things slightly expanding then contracting, like a small mushroom dose!
By late 88' we started getting Mexican brick mids regularly, and I never saw any Jamaican ganja again..?
Forgive my rambling, please. Can't help it when Jamaican is mentioned. Great info on mid - late 70's St Vincent grows. Never knew about that..?!! Thanks!👍💯

Masterful sharing
Thank you Kev

ALTHOUGH IT WAS 1/3 SEEDS, THE COLOMBIAN GOLD THAT WE SMOKED IN 1978 WAS WAY BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU WILL RUN ACROSS NOWADAYS. THE THAI, HAWAIIAN, JAMAICAN, AND SELECT MEXICAN STRAINS WERE TOP NOTCH TOO. ALSO, PREMIUM IMPORTED HASHISH WAS PLENTIFUL AND MIXED WELL WITH THESE LEGENDARY CANNABIS STRAINS.

The sun in Nicaragua is yellow orange bright hot humid volcanic soils waters full of minerals life is like the garden of Eden. This can never be replicated in the USA. Why punto rojo when I smoked as a teenager felt like a shrooming ecperience. Still till this day haven’t found cannabis to give me a high as jungle flower. The belt on the equator is the most abundance in jungle life. Norther sun is dry desert blue spectrum. I feel the sun in the north not only effects plants but also effects our circadium rythm.
Good points
Up in new england our car cad ium rythm is taking a hit, good grief it's dark out and only 8 house of sunlight....can't wait for eary spring and maple sugar season

Working on that real chocolate thai now. Hit me up for a collaboration. We have mutual friends. If you really want it seek it out. There's some real quality collectors looking for real talented breeders to work with. They are real ones still out there.
Kevin's voice sounds like the actor Michael Douglas.
I would love to see an interview with that sunlight scientist that sounds very interesting.

The hash on Jodrey's fingers 😂
You need a volume booster on this episode!
Agreed I believe all Old Heads prefer the quality of flavor and feeling over looks and potency. I see these young ones only smoking dense big nugs and they think that's grade aaa but they have no clue. It really sucks what the market has become these days. I dream too of the days Cannabis is free and sold like wine from the region it is custom on a 🌎 scale. Distinct by lat long elevation time of year and soil. As humans it is our Ancient Natural Rite to Consume this Herb Since Creation. Much Respect Family from mine too yours from the Hills of PA ✌ and 💚💛❤️ ⚡️⚡️⚡️
ruclips.net/video/p_80XQwOWRU/видео.html
Great points….. modern strains being sold everywhere are soo artificial feeling. Not organic. Not healing to the soul. You have to really work for homeostasis in your system. The “feel” aspects have been mostly lost and it severely shows in current dispensary level products. Also I believe in growing with real sun light and no artificial fertilizers or low quality soils. It all comes together to make or break a psychoactive experience. Also heirloom and landrace genetics need to be restocked and restored to the norm. The last good cannabis I felt, was 2008-2009. Ever since then it was completely different and sometimes awful and agonizing
swami with the French exit
My man Kevin musta just got done trimming with all that hash on that finger😮
Yeah great video but no sound for a person with hard hearing lol
I hear ya
I wound love to get some good seeds from you.
global trade is an honorable goal. exporting is a great validator of quality. try it!
I’m ready for some real skunk genetics from kevin.
Heartrock mountain farms have some killer gear too. Daniel will get you there
That was the problem in Jamaica. Last I was there iI had to drive all over the island for 3 days just to try to find Jamaican heirlooms. I found some but None of the dispensaries or even the street dealers had true heirloom varietals.
Well, of course they didn’t. You gotta go out and about for that
Can I get a short on that smoke? 😆 Love these sessions 🔥💪

How bout Kevin setting up in South Florida and trying to grow some equatorial
Columbian 🤩
Very quiet audio guys....can hardly hear a thing.
Did Kevin close his shop on the coast?
One thing I don't ever hear discussed is how cannabis will acclimatize it self over time...in my town growing up columbian and Mexican seeds grown over years and generations with selection and breeding based on ones that "made it " finally ended up as sinsimella that was finished before November...it all came from bag seed, it was in New York in the mid 70s....I remnernone that smelled like juicy fruit gum...
ruclips.net/video/p_80XQwOWRU/видео.html
I guess in reality that's selection and breeding..
kevin is so smart
Should be like champagne?
this looks like a bunch of wizards meeting
Has anyone actually tried seed stock from the late 80s early 90s. Some of the best weed I ever had was from late 80s seed stock. First time I grew out seeds from thay Era I found roadkill skunk. Yea it is just plain green looking weed. But the smell and potency is out of this world. It makes modern genetics seem extremely watered down in potency. It's confusing. They say weed got stronger the more modern it got. Thats bullshit. Think flowering times just shortened and more meat on the bone. I do not think modern genetics are more potent at all.
I agree, it's more of a paranoid high not a super stoney happy high that the sticky weed gave me in the 90's. I wish I had a plug for those kind of strains. Natural sticky high resin strains are the best. Don't like this overly produced dispensary weed.
@@euphoricmonk honestly man. If u can find brick weed in your area still. Keep seeds from that and grow a bunch out. I found ao many good plants in the mid 2000s with brick weed seeds. If u get anything from Mexico. There's a really good chance it will come out having grapefruit terps if grown right. But alot of them countries that produce the mid grade brick weed thats sold in the states. They use older genetics. I found so many good genetics using mid grade black market weed seeds.
@@marijuonko7092 I have some mids seeds that I collected over the years but waiting for the right time to grow them. Do you know if seeds go bad over time? Anyhow, I moved to a new State and don't have any plugs here but would be fun to grow a nice healthy stick skunk strain.
@@euphoricmonk they can go bad if not stored correctly. If u keep them in a cool dry place they will be fine. Chance ls are they will be fine anyway. I grown 30 year old seeds before. Germ rate Def goes down over time it seems. But u will be suprised what u find from brick weed seeds. It's kinda mind blowing.
Keep it
The info is right on point but the sound is severely low
I want to work for Kevin and would do anything to do so.
I’m not sure that creeping him tf out is the best approach when attempting to acquire your dream j o b 💫
I dont think Kev'd be into what you are "willing do"...
Where would you work at? Does he have a farm or brand on the shelves? I’ve been looking for his pot or product but I haven’t found any yet. It would be great to smoke his plants.
@@AssociationMusiche doesn’t have any “pot” on the shelves he supplied a good share of the cuts that helped propel the industry forward w quality work. What planet are you people from? It must be signs of the times🤷♂️…and just like that💨 it was gone! Thanks a lot corporate cannabis this should be fun😏
And @AssociationMusic wants to “smoke his plants” are we part of a joke/prank here or something?? @growmiezhomiez8760
Anybody have an idea of what legacy varieties would suit VIC/NSW Australia outdoors best ?
If we ever get to the point of a World seedbank of Cannabis, these guys need to be on board. I would love to curate the heirloom or landrace strains.
