I didn't know that HSC is such a great source of seeds! I'm from French Riviera and I was wondering which breeders have legit Californian seeds...not an elite clone crossed with any European males! HSC not HSO (Humboldt seed organisation is another seed bank...I'm not even sure if it is really a Norcal company 🤔)who do not sell seeds in USA sound like a good option to get an idea of what is available in California

I want to know about the skunk project that Kevin was talking about. It wasn't in this video but a video from around 3 or 4 years ago. Kevin talked about super potent skunk varietals that smelt like burnt rubber when you smoked it. He said it was from Esters in the flower and you couldn't extract those Esters only could get them in the flower. Thats one of the projects I'd like to hear more about also.

That project has been placed on the VERY back burner. He was unsuccessful in finding the elusive skunk. Until someone comes out the woodwork with the genetics, it's on hold.

Industrialization of cannabis has created this conundrum that Kevin so eloquently points out here. The problem I see is that the specifics that companies are expecting with specific parameters expected are so that some degree of predictability can be established so that the company can explain to potential investors how much Return they can expect for their money and what the factors are that guarantee said return. The grower is faced with factors on a daily basis that can change the end product greatly , especially sun grown product. Speaking from my experience, cannabis plants are largely individual in nature and thus the "cookie cutter" type product expectation expected for large production robs from the whole cannabis experience, period. That's what makes the cannabis plant and the growing experience so intriguing, is the development and experience is always something new.
Free Cannabis humanity needs to allow it to be free as the tomato. There is no need for only a few people to control everyone's freedom.
I have blueberry cupcake, blueberry pancakes, jelly donutz and garlic budder coming up in a few weeks. I’m so stoked. HSC makes it easy. Never a disappointment.

Great round table discussion. I know Cali grows great cannabis, but f real Meigs county Ohio has grown some of the best cannabis for decades. Talk about outdoor that can pass for indoor Meigs Is where it’s at. The soil , the valley , the water and temperatures and air quality is phenomenal. There’s a few other places like it but Meigs has been known to grow some of the best cannabis. And I’m a San Diego native.

Being an OH native, I can confirm this mans claims. Meigs county is epic and there needs to be a movie made about this special place. Few years ago they did away with law enforcement. Imagine a bunch of growers out in the country and no law enforcement in the area.

@@kevinjodrey1618 anytime you come to Mexico feel comfortable to tell me, I’ll show you my genetics and how some lines evolve totally different in different circumstances on different states, nature here it’s a factor, the sun really speaks in some places different than another places, and the genetic expression of each stein can tell that, it’s so awesome how the magic of nature makes everything happen and how’s the human part of the nature chain

I just sit here and absorb all of this information like a sponge. Shout out to Kevin for knowing his ish...I'll be honest tho, I've grown out a huge amount of HSC's gear and there are some diamonds in the rough forsure but overall have been disappointed. The one exception that I've found is their Venom or Asphalt Plant or what is it now? All Gas OG...consistently fire.
How am I just now understanding that the terps ect are metabolites ? Every plant is it’s own unique chemical factory. Crazy !

if you can trigger sativa to flower earlier, would that bring Blue Dream in sooner or how about a sativa hybrid auto or light dep?
Yea i mean if you used light dep you can trigger flower as soon as you want. You can trigger flower in Mid July and give you plenty of time to finish it outdoors. Plan on a bout 70-80 days of flower.
@woods I never did light dep or grew Blue Dream but yeah, you want them phat when you go into flower. That is for sure.

I got a couple Humboldt seeds , and was very excited for it, but both didnt pop. All my other seeds from seedstockers, royal queen seeds did pop. Maybe it was a fluke, but i wont buy again from Humboldt seed company. It is too expensive to get nothing.

THAI STICK Is it possible to breed a Thai variety that is manageable in an indoor environment and it has the smell and taste I remember from 1972? I would do anything to get some of that even if it was just 9-12% THC. What made it so special? Was it the genetics? The environment? The method of curing it? I have no idea. All I know is I want to have more of whatever was wrapped around that bamboo stick and tied with hemp twine....then put some Hawkwind on the old record player and jam out. Is it possible to make a Thai seed that has that special quality I cannot describe and is manageable at the same time? I REALLY want an answer to this. Do the genetics still exist? Please let me know.

Me looking through old skunk lines and not finding the scent I’m searching for gives him ammo to say look, I’m the source of the real skunk. He attacks McCormick too but not with the same vigor. He just attacks his seed work. Went after mean gene over im not sure what seeds he was trying to peddle but you get the point. I don’t even sell seeds online but talking shit gets him attention and more people who believe the hype. Go online and look. If there is a single customer he sold stock to that got what they expected and we’re happy I’d be amazed.

Yes an extreme amount. Please elaborate what kind of seeds you saved? Don't just try and pop them you need to find a professional or someone in tissue culture to help you with those.
I had pill bottle full of seeds id saved out of nuggets id gotten a Phish shows and stuff in the 90s. Most bags didn't have any seeds of course, I wasn't saving schwag seeds lol.
But yeah so far have haven't had any luck sprouting them

@@MarvinMonroe look into tissue culture if you’re really about hunting and saving them but realistically you should get into contact with a reputable breeder like other comment sent and discuss preserving the lines and working them and producing something further
@@MarvinMonroe maybe coconut milk from the fruit or magnets can help. I know sometimes they may also need a heat mat to help stimulate them if in soil or paper towels.
