*This is my second DeWalt circular saw **MyBest.Tools** I sold my 18 volt and use the money to help purchase this 20 volt. Money well spend. I liked that it came with a blade as well.*
I was skepticle of a 20 volt circular saw. But I have several B&D 20 volt batteries and the drill Works great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxjpBI8OOeUXib_iT7UomCrQ-uauwZJ62c . I saw the 4 stars and some glowing reviews so decided to purchase this saw. Well, leave your money in your pocket and run a cord because this little saw won't cut
I love your videos mate!. Cant count how many times I have watched this vid. Love your reviews. Big reach out to you from across the pond in England!. Take care
+jiujitsu2000 I finally have my giveaway up and going. I think you will like the products. the video quality is horrible. My camera was dropped and everything is blurry, but you can make out what the prizes are. And my wife is nagging me to get your box mailed off, I've slacked, and I'm sorry. I will get it sent off soon.
+Jason Williams sweet brotha! I saw the video and I'm planning on doing a VR. I've been crazy busy. traveling back to AZ today. I love the contest! will get one in before your birthday for sure, have a great day!! thank you
You should have added the XSRO1 (XSR07 tool only) rear handle saw into the demo. I own that saw thanks to your video you posted on it!!! Thanks! :) The other thing I like about the rear handle 36V saw is the left hand blade placement. Great line of sight for us right handers.
Wish I’d found this sooner! Still running an old BSS610, but all my old batteries are getting weak. Bought the XSH04, which is a great saw, but miss the left hand blade. Had no idea there was so little runtime difference between the 01 & 03!
@@АртемВ-и5р Yes, it's fantastic ! Great quality and very powerful. I have other Makita tools and they are ALL very good quality and durable. Happy holidays !
Wow, I'm surprised the brushless saw got so many more cuts than the brushed saw! 38% more work done on a single charge! Impressive! And only 6% fewer cuts than the saw with twice the batteries. I think there is a clear conclusion here, unless you absolutely need the larger cutting capacity of the 7-1/4" saw, get the XSH03!
At the company of Makita, it was not enough to make an advertising clip for comparative analysis between two saws and to show clearly how effective the new brushless saws are! If it were not for you, I would never know! Once again, thank you very much !!!
I love to see this test with add of Makita XSH04ZB P.S. also need to consider in compere "new" XSH06 and XSR01 , they are very popular on sale this days.
Just bought a second hand 610. The only thing I'd say is be careful about blowing the motor controller. It's easily done if you try and power through difficult to cut sheets or wet board. Done allow that blade to bind for too long while the trigger is pressed.
bss611 VS XSH03Z can you tell the diference in cutting ability and power ? is there any difference if i dont mined about the extra cuts on the same battery ? thanks
Always enjoy these types of videos from you! Very well done and great saw technique! I thought I was Sub’d, but the box wasn’t brewed out? I hit that Subscribe button, and the like button! Peace and prosperity to you in this New Year! 👍👍👍😁✌🏻🙏🇺🇸
Thanks for including the number of cuts in your video! Shopping right now for a saw, I could pay between $90 and $199 for these and batteries are running around $60 each. Right now on ebay: BSS610 is going for $90. XSH03 goes for $199, and the XSH01 sells for $199 as well. The way I see it, 39 cuts @ $90+$60 (battery)=$4.07 per cut while 54 and 58 cuts by the expensive ones will cost you $4.79 (single battery) and $5.50 (36 volt) per cut. Which saw is the best choice? And why?
I framed houses for thirty years and got use to the Model 77 left-hand blade. Ninety percent of all the cuts I ever made could have been made with a 6 1/2" saw, in fact when cutting wall plates I used a cheap 5 1/2" plastic saw most of the time. I'd buy either of the left-hand blade saws, if I was still framing I'd have a couple of extra batteries charged and ready. I'm now 68 years old and do tenant repairs for a property management company, I'm weary of stretching 100 foot cords to the far corner of a backyard to repair a couple of broken down fence panels or stretching a cord under a house to cut a plugged drain pipe. I'm in the process of going cordless, I chose Bosch tool with 4 ah batteries. But damn those Makita tools look fantastic too, I will test my new Bosch 6 1/2" saw when it arrives in the mail, I hope it keeps up. Just image no more cords getting hooked on EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING.
Ed Waggoner Sr. these cordless tools leave me scratching my head with so much extra time after doing projects! 30 years of experience proves I need nothing more than a circular saw, drill, impact driver, angle grinder, sawzall and now NO EXTENSION CORD!!!
Cam Moto: I get it! The other day I picked up the Bosch 18 volt jigsaw and sawsall at my local home store, Jerry's. They had them on sale for $56 each, I couldn't resist. Next I'd like the multi-tool, it's $199 right now, I can wait for a sale. I'll keep my corded tools, but they won't be in my work truck taking up space. Got to love it.
I can't be sure if this was consistent throughout the entire test run, but I noticed you didn't stop the saw between cuts for the 36v saw but did for the other 2 saws which would seriously effect the run time of the 36v saw! I only mention this because your test isn't consistent with other comparisons I've seen and my personal experience with these saws. While it is true the 03 with brushless tech. is much stronger then the then the brushed 610, the 36v, 01 is much stronger then the 03 and is comparable to a heavy duty corded saw! These two saws are meant for different jobs on a professional jobsite...the 01 is a heavy duty all day framing saw, while the 03 would be used more for roof sheathing and rafter tails, (thus the rafter hook), where weight and line of site are overriding considerations! Cheers Cheers
The XSH03 is an EXCELLENT saw. I just got another 36V saw. It's the rear handled one. VERY NICE!! Feel free to check out my vid's on it. I'll have more coming. It's the most powerful cordless circular saw I've ever used. Enjoy!
I have the xsh03z and the xsr01z and the xsr01z cuts almost double and way more power. Kicks ass. And I use them both equally as I don't always need the x2 when I'm framing especially with 2x4. But the x2 comes in handy when I need it for 2x12 xut roofs etc. Replaced my skil saw in my truck for sure. Now it's just makita all around in there. Great tools!
+victor feliciano Absolutly! Definitely more cuts. That's why I didn't use that one. Didn't want to be cutting all day. LOL... Thank you! Merry Christmas!
i had brushless XSH03 great saw untils just stopped working i dodnt know why and how justs put it down and that was it every battery what i put in is dead in sec. blade doesnt spin.. nothing no even burnig smell nothing.

My big takeaway is you've got great technique. 150 crosscuts without a square and pretty much all parallel. Larry Haun would smile.
Indeed! 👍😁✌🏻
thanks for taking the time to demonstrate the saws.
I own the XSH03 saw. Best one I have ever owned. One charge on a 5 AH battery will last me all day cutting 2x4's, OSB, and trim. Gets the job done!
100%
It's a beast!
Great review and comparison. Simple and straight forward, looks like the XSH03 is the clear winner. Thanks again.

Thanks for watching!
wow, 3 cordless saws. that's alot of cutting. thanks for sharing, and have a great 4th of july!!

Thank you very much. You helped me choose the SXH 03.
+levi yaakubov its an awesome saw
Me too. The two battery version isn't worth it for me.
hackneymarshes wait till you see my video on the two battery 36 volt rear handle 7 1/4 circular saw. It's brushless and works like a champ

Orcinus24x5 And would do much more cutting with the 5ah battery.

inthe uk its called 680 i got mine last summer. very good saw
FWIW I put in ear plugs if I have more than a couple cuts. and prefer the honey dipper stick style.

You could actually mount a 6-1/2" blade on the 7-1/4" saw, no?
yes
You use the same 🔋 for all 3 saws?
Same battery make, age and type
do you still have your 10 fingers?
LOL! I've got one left... ha ha

2730 milwaukee circular 6.5 / makita xsh03 circular saw 6.5 i know both saw are great but which one is better and why? / nice video
Damm I'm actually shocked that the 36v saw only cut 4 more than the 18 v (which is the model I'm buying) by the way. Thanks for the video .
+Paul Johnson xsh03 is awesome! Thank you
Which saw do you think has more cutting power (not worried about amount of cuts etc) the Brushless saw or the dual 36V saw
+Camrin Massey XSH03 is better than the XSH01
This saw beats my cordless einhell circular by far xd. The einhell struggles with one 5cm cut...
How much the cutting hight?
Interesting.ive just bought the makita 36 v model and up against the 18 v brushless model there is only four cuts difference.

This guy is the reason someone had to create a saw that can be stopped by a hot dog Weiner. Lol
i think if it had 5amp battery it would it cut more? anyway nice video....

by left hand?
you should call the saw by name more often, hard to follow the dialog
with any 36v tool u should own a dual charger
+BLONDIE LOCKS True. I like the single battery tools more.Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!
he must have just bought it bare tool only. when I bought mine, I got the full kit, saw, 2x batteries and the double charger.

wow man get your fingers out of the way of that blade. trust me, ive cut my finger wide open with a skil saw doing just what you did
I was thinking the same thing lol
great video
Thanks for the video
+J0j0 M Thank you!
Thanks!👍
great video.
sweet brother
thank you brotha!!
you can not compare the twin battery saw with the single battery saws the brushless saw does more cut than the brushed saw
+gamo98 you're 100% right. It was a run time test video. Thank you for stopping by
XSH03 IS the good
3 minutes in and.... ZzzzzZzzzZZZZ
