Thank you. Excellent and detailed close up shots. Exactly what I was looking for. Really useful video. Looking at the comments in your mother tongue, I think ‘Tak’ is the right response!
Gracias
Many thanks for such a detailed video on this tool! Have been hesitating if it's compatible with my CS002 metal saw being installed instead of the included guide rail, now it seems to me that it should be fine.
Hi Juhl. Thank you for the video. It showed me, that the adapter is working. But did I get it right, that you can recommend it for the hobby area only? Or is it even not worth the money? BR Boris
He said: Get the rail guide and the adapter, cheaper than spending money on a plungesaw if it's just for hobby use. He got it sent for free from Makita, and would never have bought it himself. I own this and i think it's rather expensive i paid like 500 Danish kr for the adapter and 350 kr for the 1400mm railguide, imo it works great for straight cuts like kitchen countertops.
@@bahionic thank you for the explanation. I am facing the same challenge. I think it could work with the adapter, when I need it. But I am afraid I will need the rail guide every time I use the saw. 😋
@@borisspahl1184 NP. It is much easier than using a board and some clamps, speaking of clamps you need the clamps for the railguide that was another 150 kr here in Denmark, but it is really nice to be able to make a straight cut without anything slipping around.
Makita really misses the mark in marketing their accessories! I just stumbled across this adapter on their site, and there's nothing but the photos of the adapter itself!

Thank you. I appreciate the close up filming and detailed demonstration. Very helpful 👍🏻🍻
Do not speak a word of your language my friend but a very helpful video none the less. Many Thanks.
Takk for fin visning av adapter og føringsskinne.
Was that the DSS611 at the end of your video you tried the adapter on? If so, does it fit nicely?

I I have not used it since I made that video here, but can easily see its purpose in a hobby workshop
How many depht do you lose with the adapter? Of the standard 57mm
3-4 mm
Tak for en god video
Do RUclips think it would work whit Makita jigsaw?
