*I absolutely love this tool!!! The first one was defective and Dewalt replaced **MyBest.Tools** More bulky than the Bosch and Makita corded palm routers I have but worth it. Nice solid base*
Do not clamp the cutter in this way. Use two wrenches (there are specially two in the set). If you use one (as you did at 7:50) there is a chance to destroy the body of the unit.
I don't understand how the guide goes on. The 2 shoes on the guide do not slip into the router housing?. They just sit either side of that little square. Also does the guide sit in between the 2 split washer on the thumb turn. Nice video bro
Does anyone have an issue with the guide bushing it comes with not being centre to the bit or collet and know how to fix it? It goes off centre when i clip the lever down it looks like
NEVER use one spanner to lock or unlock the collet while you're changing the bits. Always use two spanner, why do you think Makita included the two spanners with the kit? you'll damage the router casing eventually if you use one spanner. Not very professional.

Nice demonstration, easy to understand, thank you.

But the manual specifically mentions both ways to do it

У меня точно такой же, только копия😎 Ваша модель- зверь-машина) Кстати, зачем вы используете параллельный упор, если у вас фреза с подшипником?🤔 5:28
I would use a cast aluminum fence to eliminate any flexion, hopefully with a micrometer adjustment. I don't know if one exists.
Thank you!

Simpli the nut squished the bit and because there is an opposite twist compared to the turns, it should not loose.
