Alle Produkt-Clips, sämtlier Firmen, ob Werkzeug, Haushalt ect. sind Müll! Ich habe mich über das Video sehr gefreut. Frohe Weihnachten und viel Freude an weiteren Clips -:)

    Interesting overview of this great little trim router. I've owned both the corded and cordless version for a good number of years. I never used the edge guide that came with it, as I upgraded to the micro-adjustable version.
    I've never found the on/off switch location to be an issue - I always unplug the unit for adjustments or cutter changing - and, although it has never occurred, it is possible. The weak spot, in my opinion, is definitely the locking lever: it does tend to drift, and once or twice has just released. Fortunately, I don't use the plunge base that often.
    Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with this tool.

    Hele fijne uitleg kan nu meerdere bewerkingen uitvoeren wat inderdaad gevaarlijk is is de schakelaar heel belangrijk is de stekker verwijder tijdens het wisselen van de frees

    Looking to get one of thee for a CNC machine, great review!

      Another alternative for the CNC is an AMB router. I have the AMB 1050 FME in an Genmitsu CNC and it works great.

    Thanks for the great review and for mentioning the cons you identified. Is the high adjustment really that flimsy? I had seen people mention it in reviews for the cheaper models of router models, like the Makita M3700 but I did not expect the more expensive RT0700 model to suffer from the same issue.
    You also mention that the 8mm collet does not secure well. How big a problem has this been for you?
    I was planning to get the RT0700 mostly for the ability to use 8mm bits and the extra power, but these 2 issues have me wondering if I should go for one of the cheaper models (M3700 / 3709 / 3710) if using the 8mm is causing problems and the height adjustment is not reliable enough.

    Usually people use template guide attachment with centering pin to make sure the template attachment is dead on concentric with the router bit. No need with this one?

    Can this router lifter be adjusted from the bottom side, as a table-mounted router?

    • @umlooad
      @umlooad  Год назад

      Check /:58 Edge milling base, can be reused for a router table. You don´t have to by a router table plate or lift. Just use the base and a whole in some plywood - minimal aproach ;-) , but works.

    Hi how does the fine adjustment work and the 3 nuts what are the settings and how do you set it up depth wise
    😊

    • @umlooad
      @umlooad  Год назад

      Hi first you insert the router bit in the router. Make sure you fix everything. Now you loose the dept fine adjustment and put the highest of the 3 nuts in Position under the fine adjustment. Carefully place the router bit on the surface of your workpeace. Fasten the fine adjustment. Now you have your reference setting and you can use the other screws to define the routing depth.

    What is the maximum size(dia) of a cutter or bit that can be used with this trimmer ? I have many bits with dia of more than 35mm.

      Hi, difficult to answer (type of material, profil, etc.) , but this router is intended to be used for lighter tasks. For the tough task I use my Triton router. But the machine is very versatile and I used it for example with 20mm straight grooving bit.
      You to take your time, give the machine time to cool down if using a larger bit and go down in multiple steps.

      @@umlooad I already have the Makita rp2301fc 3hp router, but it's quite heavy and not very suitable for small tasks like light edge profiling. So I wanted to know what bits could be used with the trimmer . I'm not sure, but I read somewhere it accepts upto 30mm bits.
      Btw thanks for replying.

      Hi, yes it is. It is very versatile and easy to use. There are some replicas for less money, but I don´t know the quality of the product. I got a good "Black Friday" price for the complete macpak set and also a two years warranty. A huge plus are the accessoires coming with the set, they are really useful.
