I love how you actually add flavor to your foods. There are so many vegan channels that I watch where they don't really add much flavor to their food. But to me, your meals always looks so tasty!
I was originally kinda skeptical about collard wraps but these actually look quite delicious 🙌❤️ I'm gonna finally give them a try. Thanks for the healthy vegan food inspo!
I love how your recipes are very simple most of the time, no exotic or very weird ingredients! I really wanna try the cauli rice made this way and the chickpea scramble!
The chickpea scramble looks great, Sarah. Nice tips on preparing babaghanoush in an easier way, as the eggplant is traditionally roasted whole on an open flame to give it that distinct smoky flavour. The method you showed is much simpler for inexperienced cooks, such as myself. Thanks for sharing these recipes.
Im vegan for almost half a year and sometimes I'm tempted to go back because I can't find great recipes. Then i always watch your videos and get back on track. Ughh and it's so hard to stay strict in an oriental family 😩😔 (because of the great food my grandma makes 🤤. Not the religion)
So healthy.. but everything looked so delicious! I've been obsessed with cauliflower flower too, for some reason I like it super well steamed and mushy lol!
Hi Sarah, Paul here I really love the channel and am getting some great advise and ideas as a vegan for only a short time. As I'm from Dublin I picked up on the shirt you where wearing on your hummus enchilada demo. I hope you were here in Dublin and hope you had a good time. keep up the brilliant work and i always look forward to your next vlog. Paul!
The chickpea scramble looks SO nice! I definitely need to give it a shot--maybe I'll try black beans too! Ooh and I've wanted to try using collard greens as wraps for the longest time! Mmm but I think that the teriyaki tempeh cauliflower fried rice would have to be my favorite out of all the recipes, but all of them are SO SO close!
Looks delish. I'm jealous you have time to cook 3x day! I also highly recommend La Tourangelle Avocado Oil for cooking. This stuff is expeller pressed and made by hand. Avocado oil, unlike olive oil, is not heavily processed and has a naturally long shelf life compared to olive oil. Also it's got a higher temperature for burning, so I don't need to keep an eye on sautéed garlic and such nor continually stir all the time to prevent burning veg.
I don't cook 3x on weekdays but I definitely love to test out new recipes on weekends when I have more time. :) I have never worked with avocado oil but I will look into getting some for sure! I usually use coconut oil but I've been looking for something with a higher smoke point.
I am so happy to have stumbled on this channel. I am trying to eat much healthier, and I've been adding more and more veggie/vegan recipes to my diet. I always thought a plant-based diet would be incredibly boring. But it's SOOO good!!! Bless you for your recipes!
This is exactly how I like to eat: big portions of low calories ingredients, including a bunch of raw veggies! Really made me want to try and make some of these recipes!
Agree totally about more veggies and greens to feel full! And they give you energy and keep you healthy. I love those wraps, have you ever tried the ones by kimberly snyder with walnut "meat" that tastes like ground taco meat? So amazing!
Your vids always give me a little bit of inspiration when I've started to feel like my diet is kinda stagnant, so thank you. Do you track your macros and if you do what kind of plan do you follow? I've recently started trying to tone up and I'm really struggling to eat a balanced vegan diet while also trying to lose fat and build muscle- I'm always starving!
Hey there! I don't track macros at the moment but I am mindful that I eat a good amount of whole grains and legumes to get in protein. Those help keep me super satisfied and I have been more or less maintaining my weight for the past few months. The only time I really gain is when I start to eat too much processed food. I try to add in more non-starchy veg (salads, steamed greens etc.) when I want to lose that weight back. I might start tracking temporarily because I am currently working with a coach who would prefer that I put on some weight to get stronger.
Subscribed! You really love cooking vegan food and it shows. I have been vegan for 20 years. I stopped buying anything in a metal can a few years ago because of the BPA. Some cans say and are BPA free though. You should try soaking and cooking a pound of garbanzos though, it will be like having 10 cans of them for only $2.50 and they will taste way better. Keep up the good work - I will keep watching.
I used to cook my own beans but I've just been so lazy recently. I gotta get back on my grind when it comes to preparing things from scratch! I'm actually soaking some right now to make homemade hummus tomorrow.
I always get so excited to see a new video from you!!! I hope you are happy while producing them because I love your content/personality. :D I'm not even vegan, but I'm certainly making healthier, more whole-food, plant-based dietary choices now!
I have been making cauliflower rice a lot lately too! Super good! Last night I mixed in a VegEgg from Follow Your Heart and it was booomb. A little pricey but it good so whatevs
Great video, thanks Sarah! What's your recommendation for decent non-stick cookware? I haven't had much luck with those new-fangled ceramic coated wares. And what's your advice to not ruin the cookware?
I have T-fal pans that I like and are pretty affordable. I find it helps not to cook with oil, because then you don't have to scrub your pans to clean them all the way. I also try to use those blue sponges that are safe to use on castirons and such.
Love how u added the song collard greens at the end. I'm sure everybody else was singing along too ;-) also this food all looks so bomb and you totally inspire me to try eating more vegan foods. I have been vegetarian over a year now and all this cool food you make really is making me want to try veganism more and more!
Hey Sarah, love your videos. I've been trying to go vegan but feel overwhelmed. Can you make a video for people starting out. Like what are the staple products you recommend? Seasonings etc. A shopping list would be perfect.
I will try to make a video soon! But my staples (for a budget-friendly, healthy approach) are for sure: potatoes, tofu, rice and frozen green veggies (like broccoli or green beans). For seasonings, my staples are teriyaki sauce, garlic pepper, nutritional yeast and soy sauce. And I always like to have peanut butter or almond butter on hand. It will for sure vary depending on your preferences, but these are just the things that I have pretty much at all times. Sometimes I buy the vegan meat/cheese substitutes or other processed foods but those aren't a necessity.
It was fun indeed. You're charming and you can easily capture everyone's attention :D I tried cauliflower rice two times, really not my thing sadly. It just happens to have this boiled cabbage test even if it's fried. I haven't tried to mix it with real rice, but I don't know, there are many other usages of cauliflower, so it's fine. I'll def try the wraps, look amazing
I've been so stuck on what to eat this week! thanks for some great ideas! I'm going to add these 3 meals into my week fto make up for my vegan mac n cheese weeks hahaha
THANK YOU for the idea to blanche the collards! I have avoided trying collard wraps for so long because the idea of eating them totally raw was not appealing to me texture-wise. Don't know why I didn't think of that sooner, haha
Yes to the music at the end !!!! I will try these recipes . I'm supposed to be getting ready for my sisters wedding next year . And where do you get your black salt ???
Been wondering what other dishes I could eat w eggplants (freakin adore eggplants its bad LOL) and this video came in the perfect time! Another awesome video 💖
I have a Vitamix blender and a really cheap Black & Decker food processor. The Vitamix is nice to have but it's totally not necessary to spend that much! I used to have a Ninja that I loved as well.
The breakfast scramble so sounds good. Think I could substitute hummus for the baba ganoush? I'm super lazy and don't want to make it, haha! And I couldn't find it at my store.
+Sarah's Vegan Kitchen This is awesome! I would love to see more healthy eating/recipe videos like this in the future. I do have some weight to loose and I will definitely be making these recipes. Thanks for posting :-)
Dang this looks like my kinda fun, er, food, haha. Yum! I need to try cauliflower rice I haven't yet, only because chopping cauliflower is my most least favorite thing to do, but I love it so much!
Have you tried adding the black salt after the cooking ? the eggy flavour fades away with the heat (hence why the vegan eggs smell like eggs but don't taste like them :)
You are my new favorite! I have never been a fan of collards. I grew up in the south and my mom made them all the time. I can't get past the bitter.. how is it when it's raw? Thanks for the vid!
When they're slightly cooked, the bitter/peppery flavor gets toned down a bit. I don't love them completely raw. I did see someone use chard leaves instead of collards in a wrap though, I'd be interested to try that.
Sarah's Vegan Kitchen at a Korean supermarket or you can order it online By the way I love your videos I'm not a vegan Yet i'm in the process of becoming one
VERY HEALTH, MUCH VEGAN

Idk which I like more, your amazing simple recipes or the music you throw on the end of your videos. Too perfect.
With the help of your videos, I can happily say I've transitioned from being Vegetarian to Vegan! Thank you very much Sarah, you're a peach.😊💛

I love how your recipes are very simple most of the time, no exotic or very weird ingredients! I really wanna try the cauli rice made this way and the chickpea scramble!
The chickpea scramble looked amaaaazing! I'll definitely be making it for lunch soon!
The chickpea scramble looks great, Sarah. Nice tips on preparing babaghanoush in an easier way, as the eggplant is traditionally roasted whole on an open flame to give it that distinct smoky flavour. Everything looks great! I love Collard Wraps!

LOVE your channel! Did you make the roasted peppers you used in the wraps or were those store bought (already prepared)? Thank you.
Tip: black beans can be substituted for chick peas. Use lots of seasoning.
I always get so excited to see a new video from you!!! I hope you are happy while producing them because I love your content/personality. :D I'm not even vegan, but I'm certainly making healthier, more whole-food, plant-based dietary choices now!

I just woke up and you uploaded a new video!! Best way to start off my day 😁😁

Been wondering what other dishes I could eat w eggplants (freakin adore eggplants its bad LOL) and this video came in the perfect time!
Another awesome video 💖
omg eggplant is so good! I especially love the Chinese eggplant but the Italian kind is good too. :)
I love Chinese eggplants as well! I usually just add them to stir-fries and top it with soy sauce and sweet chili sauce :D
I just want you to know I made that last meal and it was the bomb! You are so talented... Im now a new subbie!
Lightly steam the cabbage and add a little rice to your rolls. Super tasty.

what do you do for a living like where do you got all the time to cook that much?
What kind of blender do you recommend ? or was that a food processor?
I have a Vitamix blender and a really cheap Black & Decker food processor. The Vitamix is nice to have but it's totally not necessary to spend that much! I used to have a Ninja that I loved as well.
WOOOW! I will try every recipe from this video, I swear! :D I looooove you channel, you have such great ideas

can you do a video on using egglants?? I love them but never know what to make
The breakfast scramble so sounds good. Think I could substitute hummus for the baba ganoush? I'm super lazy and don't want to make it, haha! And I couldn't find it at my store.
Probably, yes! I think the point is just something creamy to bind it all together. :)
+Sarah's Vegan Kitchen This is awesome! I would love to see more healthy eating/recipe videos like this in the future. I do have some weight to loose and I will definitely be making these recipes. Thanks for posting :-)
Everything looks delish!!:)

What type of pan are you using, and where did you buy it from?
So thankful for another eggplant recipe! I Love eggplant!
Dang this looks like my kinda fun, er, food, haha. Yum! I need to try cauliflower rice I haven't yet, only because chopping cauliflower is my most least favorite thing to do, but I love it so much!
haha I know what you mean. When I chop it, i always find little bits everywhere afterward.
Have you tried adding the black salt after the cooking ? the eggy flavour fades away with the heat (hence why the vegan eggs smell like eggs but don't taste like them :)
I was wondering about that! I usually add some to the top of whatever I'm eating too. Now I know. :)
Shout out from Ireland! (just because of your t shirt in one clip). And also these look delicious, so thank you!
Thanks! :) My aunt got the shirt for me when she was visiting Ireland.
You are my new favorite!
I have never been a fan of collards. I grew up in the south and my mom made them all the time. I can't get past the bitter.. how is it when it's raw?

You are such an innovative cook, and one of my favorite RUclipsr, if it's your video it has to be good.
Your food always looks so tasty!
I love love love this!! Xoxo, Sarah
It's always so satisfying to catch up on your videos :) xx
I love cauliflower too! it's just so expensive, $4 a head usually! too much for such a low calorie food.
Would you please mind telling me what kind of skillet it is that you used. I have been looking for a good nonstick skillet.
I have T-fal nonstick pans. You can get them for cheap at places like ross, marshall's, home goods etc. Or on Amazon!
Great Video and Recipes !
your lunch looked sensational omg
very nice, i think im going to try the cauli-rice :D
Hi Sarah Have you ever tried the mother in law's kimchi? they have one that is vegan
I haven't been able to find it at any stores near me! Where do you find yours?
Sarah's Vegan Kitchen at a Korean supermarket or you can order it online By the way I love your videos I'm not a vegan Yet i'm in the process of becoming one
that's awesome! :) I will look for it!
My local grocery store sells one by a brand called banyan foods & its vegan. I loooove kimchi so much
