Dont waste ur time i also did that because i did not have a memory card for my 64.. i played on emulator and in the fire area u can not continue because of a glitch.. so i bought n64 + memory card because i needed to finish this game. My childhood ❤️
This game was a big part of my childhood :) And now, almost 20 years later, I get to see at 2:29:09 how to get to the last cage I had before getting 1000/1000 lumes. Thanks man, now I can die in peace!
i loved this game so much when i was a kid. i felt like i was sucked into that amazing world. i wish they will remake it for the new consoles along with Tak 2

"Realism" is the aim for the developers now, but they are leaving behind what made games truly great. Anyway im happy i was able to witness those titles on their highest glory back in the day.. This is one of those games that left the feel of playing it engraved deep in our memories. I remember being sucked into this powerful story as a kid and playing for hours
Brings back so many childhood memories! My favourite levels were the Sanctuary of Water and Ice, the Menhir Hills, the Whale Bay, the Canopy and the Tomb of the Ancients. The Iron Mountains and the Pirate Ship frustrated me the most, I almost cried.
I used to love this game so much. Out of all the games I had for my N64, this was definitely in my top 3 most played games. I've been going through kind of a funk lately, but watching this on my lunch break and the ride to & from work has been lots of fun. I'd sure love to play this again, but since I don't see that happening, this has been a good alternative. Thank you :)

Yes! Thank you for this video upload! Beat the game blind, but needed some help on going 100%. Would have probably never gotten the high-hanging cage in "Sanctuary of Stone and Fire", the pillars in "Iron Mountain", or the secret 1,000th Lum without it. Thank you!
feelsbad I never beat the game because I'd always have to restart from the beginning everytime. Though I think I got to around the 3 hr mark a couple times. I would get frustrated from having to restart and rush things and die a lot making me more frustrated so I would take a long time for me to get there. Also I didn't read the text so I would get confused at the elixir of life part so I'm surprised that I made it that far.
This is the best rayman game ever. I played it when I was 4, and I remember restarting a million times just because I loved it so much. Can't believe they didn't have Rayman game at E3 this year. They should make more 3D rayman games. The new 2D ones suck.

4:15:14 Man, I used to get stuck in this whole level trying to get those four final lums underneath the pillers in this round, it took me almost an hour to do that when I first played this game. Also, I didn't know where to go after that to the next round, it was extremely frustrating, lol! 😂🎮

I bought a Packard Bell desktop pc in 2001 and this game came with it. My daughter (aged 7 at the time) and I thought it was fantastic. It had such wonderfully creative worlds and characters. I'd never seen anything like it. I got most of the way through the game, although there was one level I just couldn't get past, where Rayman kept falling into lava (I can't remember what this level was called). I just couldn't use my computer mouse delicately enough to get him past this particular obstacle. Anyway I bought a new computer in 2007 and remembered the game that I'd given up years before. But, to my dismay, the game wouldn't work on the later version of Windows. Does anyone know if it can be made to work now on a laptop running Windows 10? I think I've still got it lying in a drawer somewhere, and it would be good to see it again for old times sake.
It’s probably because they didn’t have enough storage space in the old game cartridges to record different voice lines for every scene, so they just recorded 8 or 9 different gibberish lines to play over all text. This also makes it so you don’t have the pressure to record the same lines in multiple different languages. It could also be an artistic choice, they may have just thought it would be weird to have them say lines in actual words
Holy shit, I’ve been looking for this for ages. I forgot the game and the consoled I played it one.
