I envy you, you live in a country with great weather, and better wages. I'm stuck in a country where the weather's crap from June to September, and the wages are low, unless you live in Auckland. Sorry for the rant. The food looks good.
It’s also cold June to September in the southern half of Australia. Greg just happens to live up north.
It's not only cold, but it's also wet. I live in an area with a very high rainfall.
Have you got rocks in your head mate. Have you experienced the taxes and wages in Australia. The only reason people are coming here is because it’s safer they have good wealth to our exchange , not cheaper at all. Cost living is incredible here however if you are frugal you can make do here.

I wasn't fussed on the Nasi Goreng, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Malaysian curry. It is sooooo good! The beef Rendang is good too. I haven't tried the Laksa, I think I'm going to have to.

Greggy boy I can see you lack the finesse to cook a real good laksa.
Cook it for 2 and use coconut cream instead of water add some bok choy and sliced mushrooms.
And if you want some heat chilli flakes are the way to go. Prawns are far better
The nasi goreng one smells and tastes disgusting
When ever a recipe like this one tells you to add water dont, add stock instead. Water is the enemy of flavour.
