Super cool but it bothers me that it never is allowed to reach the fully frozen state in any of the clips. It always changes right before and my ocd can't handle it

Mind blown, Jens! Now what? (Just kidding.) Here’s an idea - if frozen bubbles or snowflakes polarize light like a plastic fork, shoot with partially polarized back lighting (e.g., from iPad white screen display) and put polarizer on lens front. Turn lens polarizer until colors emerge in frozen subject. It might just work, and the colors would be fantastic. Cheers!
