I applaud you for filming in 16x9 framing. Coming from a film/video production world, I shake my head at all this 9x16 format, because people don't want to turn their phones horizontal.
The first time I did an overhead shot my phone got overheated from hanging over the cooking surface. I wound up putting it in the fridge and finished with my iPad.

Vertical has its place on social media. The funny thing is I get paid way more to film vertically than horizontally. But I feel you.

I’ve got an iPhone 12pro max. On the video setting, I have .5, 1 and 2.5. Is there a way to add the 3 option?
Unfortunately no, but i honestly like the 2X better than the 3x! So go with that!
