  • ZOMBIE CELLS!!! What are they, and how the heck do I get rid of them? In this video, we’ll be taking a look a cellular senescence…and what to do about it.
    We’ll be talking about the causes of cellular senescence, including telomere erosion, and the effects that senescent cells can have on their environment and their neighboring cells. Then we’ll turn out focus towards how to get rid of them. We’ll discuss how senolytics work and then examine several of the best senolytics.

    An aglet or aiglet is a small sheath, often made of plastic or metal, used on each end of a shoelace, a cord, or a drawstring. An aglet keeps the fibers of the lace or cord from unraveling; its firmness and narrow profile make it easier to hold and easier to feed through eyelets, lugs, or other lacing guides.

    1.5g Fisetin with 500mg Quercetin Phytosome for two consecutive days a month (just ahead of my monthly 3-4 day prolonged fast). Been on this protocol for almost a year and grey hair in my beard and side of my temples has bizarrely disappeared. Unsure if this is to do with the senolytic treatment or not however as I take a full longevity stack daily too.

Due to too much stress and poor sleep with sleepless nights and insomnia, my hair started going white in my early to mid 30s. Will test Fisetin and see how it goes. I do extended fasts once a quarter, during which I load up on senolytics for maximum effect (hopefully,) but I'm trying to determine whether or not it's worth adding another round or two of senolytics during non fasting periods as well. Cheers.

      Before you start taking NMN, I'd try to clear out senescent cells with a senolytic like fiseten or dasatinib & quercetin. Then I'd try supplementing with apigenin to block the effects of CD-38, which uses a lot of Nad+. I only take NMN after I tried all the other intervention. Thank you so much for giving me the information. I'm 49 and I hate getting old. I want to be 25 again. I'm looking into Foxo 4 DRI and it's available for purchase online. Will that rewind my old age by killing the senescent cells?

    • @randomshittutorials
      @randomshittutorials Год назад

      You need to do a lot more research. You cannot rewind your age but you CAN get A LOT of good results with energy and cell efficiency using lifestyle and supplement changes.
      Killing senescent cells with supplements is a good step but aging is SO.. SO MUCH more than senescent cells..
      Things you can't just fix include:
      -stemcell exhaustion.
      -telomere shortening.
      You CAN improve:
      -epigenome alteration (cut back on alcohol helps here)
      -loss of proteostesis
      -deregulated neutrient sensing
      -mitochondrial dysfunction
      -cellular senescence
      -altered intracellular communication
      -genomic instability
      My advice:
      Take only a few types of supplements to midigate danger and save your wallet.
      If you want to go all out, take 500mg of NMN to boost NAD+ a day.
      And take senescent cell killer supplements 2 consecutive days per month.
      Sadly bioavailability (absorption rate) is hard with most of these senescent cell-killing drugs.. I'm still looking for which one gets absorbed at all into the body..
      If you just BUY and hope you might end up with expensive poop.
      Supplements are not the answer though.
      You NEED to change your lifestyle.. supplements do just that.. supplement a lifestyle!
      Stop eating any unhealthy snacks and start drinking only water and eat plenty of fruits/vegis.
      Sleep 8+ hours a night and do exercise 3 times a week.
      Also, fasting has MANY benifits. Fasting is something I didn't wanna do or believe in and I am about to start with it because damn.. the personal experiences I read about are insane.

    One huge doubt that I have from telomere theory. If it causes senescence when the cells divide close to 50 times. Shouldn´t the body´s cells reach this limit all at a similar time?

    • @LanceHitchings
      @LanceHitchings  3 года назад +3

      Nope. Different types of tissue have different cellular lifespans. Some cells die after only a few months, some never die. But on average, most of the cells in the body renew themselves very 7 years or so. They're replaced from our store of stem cells.

    • @LanceHitchings
      @LanceHitchings  Год назад

      An extended fast over 24 hours promotes autophagy, although 72 hours is better. Not so sure about intermittent fast, if you're talking about an eating window of 18 hours. Usually, you have to fast for at least 24 hrs. to ignite autophagy...as I understand it.
