the universal ones are comp-level, but not comp-only. The Tundra specific stuff is a mix of daily ability with being able to dampen well in the faster stuff
Any chance y’all could make a video on rough country shocks? A lot of people hate on the N3 shocks they make, but I think they’re pretty solid for $50 each. They’re atleast a lot better than the N2.0 they used to make. I’m mainly curious about the V2 and M1 series and if they’re worth the money, or I’d bilstein/fox a better value
probably not, we're a long ways off from carrying or selling rough country. Fox has rebuild kits readily available, and no one can touch Bilstein's longevity in terms of miles
@@ShockSurplusMakes sense, I can understand that. Not much point in making a video on something y’all don’t sell. I had just heard their V2 was a direct copy of a fox 2.0 and I didn’t know if there was any real merit to that
They've been on the list for a while, but only until recently have we had a vehicle to run their kits on. Both of our Tacomas were on planned shocks for a while, then out of commission for a while. We have a Ranger and Xterra that may see their shocks. Possibly our white Tacoma that ran the BP51s
Refuse is a strong word, the Toyota platform is their bread and butter here in the US, doubt they get much request for the f150s. They have the ranger because it's an international platform
CONTACT SHOCK SURPLUS"? What a freakin JOKE! How about multiple calls and hold times, one up to 30 minutes long. Only to get a recording that says" Why waste anytime being on hold, go online and shop" Paraphrase. Well, if someone wants to speak to a real person with genuine questions, how about being more personal and picking up the phone. Employ more people to answer phones. It's all about relationship-building and communication guys. That's how you get the word spread. Since I know you are already established and my rant will absolutely go nowhere and probably get beat up here on posts, this is all a moot point. I'm only one guy and the world is just different. Regardless, this 61-year-old man who had shock questions for a purchase, will not shop at Shock Surplus. Out!
All we can say is sorry! Last week was intense for us, 2 people out, training 2 new people, on top of big demand - all a tough combo! We're actively addressing phone volume and bringing down response times. If you want to give us another chance, email the owner sean@shocksurplus.com - he's been made aware of your complaint.
Man the color of that truck is gorgeous.
So to be clear Dobinsons current 22-23 compatible coilovers etc are only for racing vs say over landing/dail;y driving?

Its like you guys push everyother shock but Dobinsons?

@ShockSurplus Looking forward to watching a video review and a head to head comparison between the BP51s and MRRs.
So they have shocks for the new tundra, but refuse to build for f150s. Strange

If fox, king, elka, etc are selling shocks for f150s, there is a market for them.
@@1FiftyOverland It's all about Toyota these days-GM truck owner.
Don’t worry they will make them for the fords, just be patient
