    I have 06 V70 2.5T ocean race. It's my second volvo after my 1986 740GLE and it is the perfect daily car. I don't have power seats nor sunroof etc. but still love it. Very powerful wagon with amazing quality and looks.

    you forgot to mention the pouch in between your legs in the driver seat. I loved that pouch when I had my v70

    I love the looks of this car. Looks solid. NO infotainment garbage needed. I like simple layout yet sturdy and good quality product. I am looking to trade my highly uncomfortable Honda and getting one of this year. I wonder though if it is terribly expensive to maintain

    I do miss having a P2 gen V70R, that car was very comfortable and well thought-out. Not to mention it was quick too, for being a heavy slab of Swedish / American steel.

    Pretty nice specs for a car from 2001, and it still looks pretty good.

    I love these! My mom had a blue 2000 Volvo v70 when I was a kid and I remember being hauled around to ballet and art lessons in that thing. The back seats were super comfortable too. I kind of want one of these now, just as a bigger vehicle to haul things for school and vacations in.

    Appears to be in fine condition but if I were considering this 'd be looking a lot deeper under the hood. It really pays to have experience working on the platform when shopping for this Euro.

    I know I'm Prius lover but I have a v70 and I love that you have a key and key fob I can't stand cars today with hidden blade keys start stop button and all that I want a small amount to go wrong in a modern car everything can go wrong because it could all go wrong

    how much would that Volvo sell for today, 2020?

    • @MrNOTMAKINVIDS

      Depends on your market. In Norway they go for 1800$-3000$ for a similar condition car. Usually there are some things to consider, which are covered really nicely in this video: ruclips.net/video/pA10J38BBG0/видео.html
      I'm looking to buy one of these myself, although I would try to get one were a lot of the wearing parts have been changed just to be sure. But from what I can see most of the cars in my market have been running for 200 000 miles and are still going without any major problems. If you find the right one, with a good maintenance history, I'm pretty sure this car will last most people years.

    I love my 2001 Volvo v70, I am having a problem with the automatic transmission sticking from time. Does anyone have this problem? Anyone suggestions

    • @reallyhappenings5597
      @reallyhappenings5597 6 лет назад

      Deborah Trabue youre not alone, you need to learn about the aw55-50 transmissions used. In the pre-facelift 2nd gen V70s, 2001-2003. I have one, theyre not bad but they need care

      Maybe you should try googling the trans issue. There are about 5 billion forum posts about it.

      Mine has that problem, eventually it will need replacement, but new oil and gentle driving will smooth it out. It started up around 130000 miles on mine, with good care I have kept it going to 160000 and hopefully beyond
