  • Watch as I "fix"a few broken and cracked ceramic tiles in a kitchen floor. Without having to replace your expensive floors, let's try to disguise the cracks and chips in the flooring. With just a few items you can make your floors look a whole lot better! Let's face it, we just don't have the money to replace a tile floor just because we've got a few cracks and chips in it. With less than $20 you can disguise and "fix" those broken tiles in a few hours.
I am limited on what I am able to do to this tile. First and foremost, it's not my house! I'm on vacation and have limited access to supplies. I would loved to have sanded this some to make this a little smoother looking. But, I do have to say, my Sister in law loved the "fix."

This is the work of an artist. A tile contractor can't and won't do this, he'll just replace it.
    Great work really

@@kimberlyanndesigns1 Thank you Kimberly. I'm a building contractor and trust me when I say that a tile contractor can't do this 😂
some might go over it with the same color epoxy component and a quick polish but that's it really. I've actually learned something today from you!

It’s pretty simple to do you just gotta get right down on the floor. Try to match the colors as best as possible and if the color doesn’t match you can add more color or change it. If you do decide to do it show me how it turned out.

A tile sealer works well to protect the repair. If a feathering or other technique is needed, I would first practice on a paper plate or a spare piece of tile, if you are lucky enough to have one. Try using different things like a sea sponge or small artist brushes to get the desired effect. A fan brush or other flat brush might work great to get down into cracks. Add color to your white if needed. Gray or blue may work well. Then I would use a tile sealer after it has thoroughly dried. Hope this helps.

You did a great job but I wonder if you wash the tiles it will ruin the materials used?
