It’s easy to leave that hem. If it’s a lot of extra fabric, I would cut it off because you might be able to see it from the outside. After numerous washes. Otherwise, I would go ahead and at least tack up that extra material. The hem tape works perfect and you can get it at Walmart.

I would then use removable vinyl, although permanent vinyl can be removed. Just have to be careful not too scratch the helmet. I would use a small scraper like the cricut small spatula. Removable vinyl might not be a good idea if baby will be picking at it.

No, this tape is double-sided sticky. They do make one that you can iron on as well.

What happens when you wash the jeans? Does the sticky adhesive lose its grip over time?

@tinagrant4941 nope. I’ve got jeans I did years ago. I dry them in the dryer everytime.

I’m having trouble finding the large script. It must have been something I downloaded from dafont. the small font is “ close to my heart”. I found two fonts very close to the large script. check out Lana Jane and Truly Scrumptious. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the comments. I learned a long time ago that I just couldn’t function without being organized. It certainly makes it easier to find things. We moved again a couple of years ago and my craft room was what sold the house! As for the engraving, practice using Dollar Tree pieces. 😉

I believe I used the glass on this one. Depending on how deep the shadowbox ends up determines whether I can use the glass or not. I usually end up not being able to use the glass on my bridal shadowboxes because of the florals I attach.

Yes that’s unfortunate. But it is her basement. My last craft room had 4 large gorgeous windows and I sure miss it. My new home has a beautiful craft room but only an escape window. I’m in my basement as well. Thank you for watching.

@@kimberlyanndesigns1 Thank you Kimberly. I'm a building contractor and trust me when I say that a tile contractor can't do this 😂 some might go over it with the same color epoxy component and a quick polish but that's it really. I've actually learned something today from you!

The only reason I cut anything off of these jeans was because there was so much excess after bringing the pants up to the correct length. After a while, you might be able to notice the bulk and unless it is secured, you could trip if wearing heels. Believe me, it happened to me. I nearly fell down a flight of stairs when the heel of my shoe got caught in the “excess material” left on the pants.

You might have to check on the Cricut website. I know Dollar tree spatulas were perfect. The “harder” the metal, the harder it is to engrave

You’re gonna love your Cricut! I’ve used the engraving tip on Dollar Tree spatulas. I also used it on metal guitar picks. I haven’t done basswood. I’m sure it will work well. Just make sure you use a mm that will work with the machine. If it’s too thick, it can’t go under the rollers. 😊

Always keep it tip side down.
