The 1912 Renault was on the Titanic but would not have been shipped as shown in the movie. The car would have been partially disassembled to save space and it would have been crated. For example, it would have been secured by the chassis to the crate base and the wheels packed inside the car. Though I can't speak for this particular car, many were shipped without glass, (easily broken plate glass in 1912), and with accessories, (lamps, bumpers, horns, possibly fenders, etc.), boxed to be installed by the US dealer prior to delivery. Though never found, at this point the leather seat covers, roof panels and other leather parts may be all that survive.
From an engineering standpoint, I find the bridge/engine room telegraphs fascinating. The navigation bridge telegraphs, (one port, one starboard and one emergency in the center), were connected by chains, (or chains and cables, depending on source) to the engine room. Just to consider the distance between the two and the routing through the ship. They also connected to the aft docking bridge which had more limited controls.

The panel that Rose is lying on in the movie isn't from the Smoking Room--it's from the 1st Class Lounge. I believe the White Swan Hotel in England has paneling from the same lounge on the Olympic, that was auctioned off when the Olympic was scrapped in 1935.
